Note: As other reviewers have stated, this shop has changed ownership and is now called Erikas Inspirations.I first came to Erika this past summer when I needed a formal dress shortened. She got it back to me faster than I expected and her work was exceptional. Just a few weeks ago I came back with a sheath dress and a skirt that needed to be taken in at the waist. There was a minor issue with the original measurement, but Erika caught it and called me right away so that I could come back in and be re-measured. She is a very friendly and pleasant lady, extremely professional, and her work is top-notch. She is my go-to tailor and I would recommend her to everyone!

Now, Erikas Alternations due to a new owner. I had the wrong length dress sent to me and needed to wear it for a black tie wedding in 2 days. I called around and Erika was able to get me in that day and got the dress back to me by 2 pm the next day. The work was professionally and well done. The dress looked beautiful. I would recommend her to anyone

The work was great. The price not so much. Two pair of dress pants—had them hemmed and took an inch out of the waist for both. Ran $80 which is quite a bit higher than previous alterations.

Just moved back to Winston-Salem, NC from NYC. Its a delight to have someone like Paul here in Winston. He is able to provide complete tailoring with an eye for detail. All at affordable prices. Top quality.

Recently had my Bridesmaids dress altered. Every other place was booked for months. She did an amazing job fixing the baggy top and hem. Quick turnaround and great work.

I chose this tailor after seeing his sign on a visit to the UPS store, located next door. I should have looked the other way.Paul is nice enough. Hes an older man from New York, with the accent to match.But his tailoring leaves much to be desired.I brought in four pairs of expensive pants to be hemmed recently; not a big job for any tailor. Paul got it done in two days, but failed to do basic things like sew straight stitches, or remove the tailor chalk marks.I plan to ask for my money back. Avoid this place if you value attention to detail.
