I brought an odd assortment of clothes here, and they worked magic on them! They knew just what to do with ill-fitting pieces, they invisibly repaired rips and tears, and they even advised me against bothering with one piece because it wasnt worth the price to repair it. They really excel at their trade!

There are no words to express my appreciation and gratitude to Magdalen. I brought her a formal suit with a long coat. She made recommendations on options based on my budget which she seemed quite sensitive to. She had it all pinned up in just a few minutes. Less than 48 hours it was done; pants and coat fit perfectly and looked great. I was going to take it to the dry cleaners to freshen it up. When I asked for a recommendation for a dry cleaner, she told me she had already steam pressed it and there was no need. I asked her if the dry cleaning could take out the faint crease remaining from the original size. Magdalen took the pants back to the steam press and in minutes, the old crease was gone, no dry cleaner needed. All this with courtesy, expertise, warmth and very reasonable in price. The ladys here did an excellent job, and they are super friendly too! I needed my bridesmaid dress for my best friends wedding altered around the top (strapless) and the dress shortened because it was a good 6+ inches too long (Im 51), and on very short notice. Not only did these women get me in there quickly, get the dress fitted for me perfectly and get the dress back to me with a few days to spare, but they did it at a fair price too! I cannot say enough good things about Magdalens, they saved my life by fixing my dress so fast (and perfectly!) because I let June sneak up on me. If anybody asks me where to get something tailored around here, I will definitely suggest they use Magdalens!

She is absolutely the best!! I have been using her for years. She has altered everything from prom dresses and jeans for my girls to dresses for me. I recently needed a dress for my son’s wedding. I couldn’t be happier! The staff was friendly, the tailor did a wonderful job, and the work was done in a matter of hours (yes, you read that right!!!). It wasn’t an easy request either. It was a mother of the bride dress that had 4 delicate layers in the skirt. I wanted 5 layers to make it knee length, so I brought the tailor two dresses and asked her to perform magic by sewing one layer onto the other and matching up the seam so nobody would know it had been altered. She did! And she did it fast! I was expecting a few days to a week which I was thrilled about...what a surprise to have such quality work done just a couple hours after I left!!!

I have had several fantastic experiences with this tailor. My very first visit consisted of getting skirts re-hemmed. The work that they performed was great quality, affordable and very quick. Second visit was 3 sweaters that needed repair and they were finished the same day! Friendly staff too. I’m a big fan!

Earlier this week, I brought in a favorite pair of jeans with an inseam much too long for me. She made sure I was happy with the length where she would be hemming them and they were ready later that day. The seamstress was so kind and did a beautiful job with the hem.

Magdalen and her husband are an excellent team. I recently had my wedding dress altered to fit my top-heavy body. They did exceptional work. I could not have asked for a better fitting dress. I danced all night in my strapless dress, and it did not budge. Sometimes brides are always having to pull their dresses up when moving around. I did not have to adjust mine all night. I will definitely use their services again. The customer service was the best Ive seen in this town.

I purchased a suit for News Years and needed the false pocket to be opened. I thought a pocket needed to be created, but it just had to be opened. I didnt expect that she would open it for free. But she said, no charge. Very happy with her kind service.

Very pleasant ladies work in there that offer good work at affordable prices. I had a pair of suit pants hemmed and suit coat worked on. The coat wasnt right from Mens Wearhouse and after the 1st try at fixing the shoulders the tailor said it need some more work. They didnt even charge me for making it right the second time!

I took uniform pants to Magdalens and paid a significant amount for the alterations, but she barely altered them. She just shrugged her shoulders, as these werent a common item and pattern. This establishment is probably good for wedding dresses. I will not be going back for suit or costume alterations. If you have anything out of the ordinary whatsoever, do not consider this place. They arent particularly friendly either. They might consider turning off the constant Contemporary Christian music they play in there. It doesnt suit them.

This was my first time here and went by word of mouth -- Great experience overall! I had to get a floor-length bridesmaids dress shortened, have the shoulder straps taken in and the zipper replaced. They did a beautiful job, were very nice to work with, and were very reasonable in pricing! Highly recommended!

I moved here from NYC, and the level of detail that they put fourth is of the highest standard. I feel the fees asked are completely just, with what is returned in craftsmanship. I have taken many things to be altered. The most recent a Irish Linen jacket. The reconstruction took this from a potato sack to a glove. Run dont walk.

Horrid ! I was MORTIFIED about the general DISRESPECT I received when I called to inquire about having custom tablecloths made for our companys corporate event. I asked her how much fabric would I need and how soon she could have the tablecloths ready. She told me that she was busy and did not have time to answer my questions. I then informed her that I was trying to patron her business. She then exclaimed UH No I DONT NEED YOUR BUSINESS, and proceeded to hang up. I would never recommend a company that is blatantly DISRESPECTFUL for the general public with NO REGARD for professionalism, manners nor courtesy. I am truly disgusted !

She altered my daughters prom dress. It came out PERFECTLY at a fair price. This was a complicated dress that had to be taken in at teh waist and hemmed. It was lace over satin. Theh dress tirned out gorgeous and she was friendly and helpful. She is straightforward. She asked lots of questions to be sure we were goingto get what we wanted. She laid out the cost and timing. She was very repsectful and professional.
