My daughter and I have been going here for a year and love it. Jessica always makes sure we get what we ask for! As a mom I like to micromanage my daughters look and these ladies make sure Im happy but that my daughter is too! 5*

I honestly had the best salon experience ever. I tend to not enjoy salons for an overall attitude and vibe that is just not me. This place was not only casual and friendly, but they were open and honest and did not just tell me what I wanted to hear. I had not colored my hair in years and had never done balayage. Mia did an incredible job and the director (Jennifer?) was so knowledgable and available. I cant believe the prices here and they do all sorts of other beauty services. Cant wait to go back

I just graduated from designing beauty academy and I am now officially licensed and I have to say that choosing this school was the best option I made when it came to finding a cosmetology school. The best part was it was a smaller school so more one on one time and the teachers are always there to help you, and they make sure that when they’re teaching you that you understand what you’re doing rather than them just showing you how to do it. I love designing beauty academy and if I had to do it all over again I would still choose this place no matter what!

Designing Beauty Academy was my choice of school for becoming a Nail Tech. I was looking for a program that allowed me to learn just nails (full cosmetology, hair, etc. are also offered). It was easy to get to get to school, accommodated my schedule and offered flexible learning! I am thankful for DBA.

Zero supervision. The students dont care. Worst permanent wave Ive ever had. NEVER GOING BACK. Im all about giving someone a chance to learn, and my hair was longer than normal so I was ok if I had to cut some off after the process, but I was under the impression the students were supervised. THEY ARE NOT!! Maybe the stylist will get better after time but I doubt it.

Ive had my hair colored and cut on two separate occasions at Designing Beauty Academy and they did a spectacular job. Rachel and Martha were great. They really listened to what I wanted and took their time. Highly recommend!!! -Hart

I had previously used a different nail tech for 15 years. My lady moved out of state so I was looking for someone excellent to take her place. Jenifer has been just that. My nails have looked amazing since day 1 with her and I have never had an issue getting in or changing times at all.The salon is very clean, which is a big deal to me, and has very easy access for parking.I am now going to have her be my hair sylist as well.I would highly recommend.

I started going to Designing Beauty Academy a few months ago. Ive had my hair cut, had highlights and most recently went with a purple tint in my hair 💜 I love it! Ive also had my nails done and have had several facials. The girls are very well trained and super sweet. I would recommend them to anyone who wants spa style treatment at a great price!

Attending Designing Beauty Academy was the best decision, the private setting along with wonderful one on one teachers made getting my hairstylist license so enjoyable! I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to pursue cosmetology, hairstylist, nail tech, or esthetician programs!

Just started attending and I am so excited to start my journey here! Jennifer was super accommodating of my schedule and made it possible for me to go back to school! I never would have been able to finish my education without her help. If you are looking for a beauty school that makes your education a priority and gets to know you as a person look no further. I attended the esthetician program and recently graduated from Designing beauty academy a few months ago. It was a great learning experience having a small class size and having Jennifer as my teacher was so much fun. I loved having the opportunity to learn at my own pace. One of the best parts about the program for me was the schedule which made it possible to attend the school and have a successful outcome. I have a very busy schedule outside of school, and Jennifer was amazing working with my schedule and always so understanding.

I attended DBA in 2012 for Hair. I loved the small class setting which meant one on one attention. Jeni encouraged, and inspired me to never give up. I got my license in under a year and started working hard to create myself as a stylist. As a successful business owner now I am very grateful I found this school! I still come back to the school to have Jeni do my nails!

I have a wonderful experience each and every time I go to Designing Beauty Academy. I have currently been going there for 3 years now. I frequently have Jeni Kennison for my nails, hair and facials....and have always left the salon extremely satisfied. The atmosphere of the building and the pleasant demeanor of the girls makes it an experience I always look forward to.

Jeni and her team of students and professionals both are amazing! I drive past at least 4 salons to get to DBA because its clean, the students are well taught, Jeni is a crack up and they always have to latest and most up to date equipment and training. I get my nails done there as well as all skincare and highly recommend it!

I have been a working cosmotologist at the same place and have been very successful since 2012, after graduating the same year from designing beauty academy! It was the best most educational experience I could have asked for. Jenny and Ryan are an amazing team and are wonderful people. Jenny has some amazing talent and i was fortunate enough to learn from her (the best)! The small class atmosphere is so nice, because you get that one on one time that anywhere else is hard to come by. I felt that I learned more than the average cosmo! Everyone was very nice and the salon has such a homey feeling! All in all Im so blessed do have gone through designing beauty academy for my schooling and encourage anyone who is interested in the program to come stop in and visit the school I promise youll love it, and in the end be thankful you went with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told that I could have a razor cut when I scheduled with the owner. When I arrived, I was told by the owner and her supervisor on duty that I could not have a razor cut and the students were not trained to do a razor cut on mens hair. I allowed them to cut my hair and it was not supervised and when I returned home I had to do additional cutting and shaping myself. They were not professional or friendly. I will not go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
