This past week has been an absolute nightmare, going from (what we believed to be) a clogging issue, to then being told it was a dislocated pipe underground, to a few unforeseen issues with root cellar, groundwater excess,, crumbling cement, tar paper disintegration, (from decades old botch job) that were discovered upon digging.Aiello crew came in NEXT DAY on time, went right to work and worked for many many hours until dark, on a job they probably estimated to be just a few hours and even with the frustrations of all the extra problems encountered, the entire team remained patient, kind, and most importantly focused on getting the job done RIGHT without cutting any corners..I was in shock yesterday looking out my window to see the state of our yard all torn up. My fiancée and I recently bought an older home as our first. During two heavy rain storms, we noticed that there was water dripping/accumulating near our sump pump and contacted Aiello to have it inspected/repaired. A short time after making the appointment, I was contacted by someone from the company who had an earlier appointment so I took that. Rocco was our technician/repairman and he was great. Very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable as I had a LOT of questions. He was upfront and honest about the services needed and what my options were. I decided to have a new pump installed since it seemed like mine was older, and Rocco was happy to install it. After he was finished, he tested it out and noticed that there was water actually dripping from another pipe. After some investigation, it seemed the sump pump pipe was accidentally drilled into when the previous owner attempted to drill a hole for a cable into the same area where the pipes were. Oops! Once again, Rocco was able to remove the damaged pipes and replace them with a new pipe. He actually cleaned up most of the mess afterward as well! I couldn’t be more happy using Rocco and Aiello. I’ve used the company before and was extremely happy so much that I bought the preferred customer package, which is more than worth it. I would highly recommend this company for any home service needs!

I called Aiello because my thermostat was broken. they installed a much better one and found several issues with my furnace/boiler system that saved me from a breakdown in the middle of the winter. The technicians educated me and worked cleany and efficiently. I am very appreciative.

Showed up without a set time, yikes. They didnt fix anything and wouldnt even screw on wire nuts onto wires to test anything, that would ruin a follow up for more cash visit. I guess they were holding out for a payment of over $1000 to put on the wire nuts and some shielded cable worth what a hundred bucks or a little more? Whew so tiring!The serviceman was polite. I would be too if I charged triple on my next visit. The work quality is good and I see lots of positive reviews so if you dont mind paying triple price in my estimation be prepared to dump your wallet contents on the table when youre done or theyre done with you. My furnace is still out after my initial visit. Brrrr, how coldPlease dont respond Mr. Scrooge.

Easy to get my appointment. Tech arrived promptly and did a good job installing a new hot water heater.I was so pleased that I told him I’d like to replace 2 toilets, kitchen and bathroom sinks and replace the upstairs tub with a no threshold shower.A while after the tech left I went outside and saw a huge rust stain on the driveway. I power washed it of but there’s still a stain. Didn’t hear back from them regarding all the other things I wanted to replace.I guess they weren’t interested in doing the work….never heard back from them. I prefer to share my business with someone who is willing to work with me and follow up. Sorry to say because he did a great job with the hot water heater

I was having trouble finding an electrician to give me a bid to install an EV charger in my garage. When I called Aiello they scheduled Zach to come the very next day. Zach provided me a bid and I booked the work to be done 4 days later. On the day of the install Zach arrived promptly and got right to work. He promised me no drywall damage and he delivered! Both Zach and Ben were friendly and professional and I am truly pleased with the entire situation. I highly recommend them!

Great customer service, timely, punctual but Very expensive. Charged $640 for an E2 to move an electrical outlet 10 feet and cap another dead box. Would use again if I was in a bind but pricing was just too high.

I hired Aeillo to replace a mixing valve that they said was malfunctioning, they charged me $900 because they said my current valve was not an approved scald-guard valve. Ever since I have no hot water, my furnace is running at the correct heat, I have hot water below the valve and none above.When I first reported the issue with the valve last week, they refused to provide weekend service, because I was not part of a secret club of customers that paid a fee to receive 24/7 service. I spent 3 days without hot water and then paid the fee, but when I called them this weekend, I have been hung up on 3 times and never routed to a human being.I also had my well pump go and they replaced it at $8400, you would think I might be considered a valued customer, but it looks like that is not the case. Im actually wondering if they sabotaged my well when they replaced the mixing valve. Again, everything was working fine before they touched my hot water system.Beware and look for a different contractor if you dont want to spend thousands of dollars and receive $000 in service.

My A/C failed on a hot day. Called Aiello and their tech Nick was here in about an hour. He figured out the problem and got my system up and running very quickly. He pointed out a few things that needed service/replacement and he could do them right then so I said go ahead. My system is now cleaned and serviced and should be good for awhile now.

Recently, I had the unexpected inconvenience of a failed thermostat on my water tank, which was fairly new. The thermostat was still under warranty, but the service warranty had already expired. The service manager and technician were very pleasant and helpful. Not only was a properly functioning unit of utmost importance to them, they proved to me that my satisfaction was their most important goal. The technician was skilled, efficient and quick. The serviced manager was understanding and fair when it came to the final bill. I remain a happy, satisfied loyal customer and will continue to recommend them over all other competitors.

Aiello Home Service was appointed by Energize CT to do home energy Audit. During the audit they taped our custom wooden floor vent outlets, ripping from the floor the top protection resulting in damaging the floor vents. They replaced some LED lights as part of the audit and broke an expensive ceiling light fixture. Furthermore, they did not even complete the audit. After many reminders, one Aiello Home Service manager showed up with his crew. They acknowledged and confirmed the damages caused by Aiello crew during the audit. Aiello Manager promised he would send another crew to fix the damages and follow up to complete the energy audit. I have tried to contact them multiple times with no response to address my damages. I am VERY disappointed with their unprofessional staff and service and with no response to address the damages done by Aiello Home Service crew for more than 1 year now.

I have used Aiello for plumbing and AC. I am extremely satisfied with the work that was performed. The technicians and customer service representatives have been very helpful and knowledgeable. I have received five star experience and would recommend them to my family and friends.

Aiello came to the rescue when our AC broke down in the midst of the heat & humidity of July. Aiello was the ONLY company that could help us within a day or two - not 2 weeks. They gave me an crazy estimate, for my fathers home, of $2600 for a service another company did for him at a much lower price. I was told Aiello normally inflates their prices to take advantage of people. The technician (Justin Aiello) wouldn’t even give me a breakdown of the estimate. He said he doesn’t set the price and they charge by the job. I’m in construction. When I give an estimate it’s a breakdown of material and labor. He actually told me that if I wanted my service fee waved I’d have to hire them. He just just took my service fee and left. If you look at their negative reviews you’ll notice they’re mainly about price gouging. It shows they lack ethics. I wouldn’t trust them. They’re are some good and honest companies out. Unfortunately, they’re not one of them. Check out their Yelp reviews. Especially the more recent ones.

I called Aiello because they were able to come out in a couple hours. 1/2 my house had no electricity. The electrician came and found that one of the 100amp main fuses outside below meter was bad (after I told him that was probably the problem...happened before). He removed it and said he didnt have on truck. I asked how much to replace. He said $499. WHEW!!! Did not see that coming. All he had to do was open lid, pull handle and fuses was on other side. All he had to do was push the fuse into clips and push handle back into box. 5 minutes if most. Needless to say, I said NO! I went and bought a new fuse for $23 and called another electrician and he came within a few hours and replaced the fuse for $175. Unbelievable, I will NEVER call Aiello again!!!! What a rip off company. And did not wear a mask or shoe covers...not Covid precautions as advertised.

Plumbing service came to the house in less than 24 hrs. Service needed was understood. Technician was thorough and completed projects in an hour. Cost was bit more than wanted to pay. But very satisfied with the end result.

We desperately needed this done ASAP so we went with this company who were able to fit us in the next day. It was VERY expensive (replacing a valve, a section of pipe and putting our existing toilet back in place came to $900!). When we’ve had the toilet removed and replaced previously and that same valve replaced a few years ago it cost $200 from a local plumber for comparison. It was left messy with extra wax all over the bottom of the toilet, I was told I could get a knife and cut around it myself. For almost a thousand dollars out of pocket I really don’t think I should have to be crawling around my toilet and cutting extra wax off the toilet by myself at the end. Nice guy but would go with another company next time.

We called Aiello yesterday, we had to have a valve replaced and have the ice maker hooked up. Peter showed up a short time later, took a look at the problems, and did a very good job of explaining every thing to me. Everyone involved was professional and pleasant. Our plumber was excellent and repaired the leaking pipe with the least amount of damage to our walls and ceiling as possible. He cleaned up after - all I really had to do was take some of the trash out (he took most of it), and mop!

We contacted Aiello for what we thought was a clogged pipe. The first technician who came out was great, he was friendly and really tried to unclog the blockage. He was unavailable to do so but he got another technician to come out the following day early. They got the blockage pushed through but recommended we have someone come out and camera our pipes as they were old. Even though we had just bought the house, we didnt have the pipes looked at during inspection. It was a big mistake because as soon as they looked at the pipes they could tell they were all bad and needed an immediate replacement. Through all the stress of having a huge cost placed on us and having all the plumbing being replaced, everyone at this company kept us calm and helped us through it. We had a great crew out and they were absolutely amazing and mindful of our house. It was a huge job and they got it taken care of in 2 days. We are very happy we went with this company and will definitely recommend them to those we know. We definitely got the proper attention we needed to deal with this huge inconvenience, and will always be grateful they were there when we really needed it. Aiello came for a small job. I was stunned at the cost the technician quoted me. I asked why it was so high. The technician said they charge by job, not material and labor. I asked him how does he know the price then? He said he doesnt make the price, the office does.First- Any company who charges you for an estimate is not an ethical company.Two- If a company gives you an estimate without breaking it down, theyre giving you a BS price because they dont think you know better.Id say they dont give you a breakdown of the estimate because it allows them to inflate the price thinking you dont know better. Why else wouldnt he show me an itemized invoice? Either way they got paid with a service fee. Reputable companies wouldnt charge you for an estimate.Too bad really. Im sure they do good work. Ill never know. As a retired US Army Veteran of 23 years, I learned to never trust anyone who has no ethics. I would hope people would shop around for a reputable, licensed, and insured company that doesnt take advantage.

We were having issues with our Hot water..John our service man was great he diagnosed quickly and was able to order the parts( very specific to our system & hard to find) and get them installed and everything running perfectly the next day. He also did a complete boiler and burner service checkup and cleaning.

The technician was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I also like how they text you when they are on their way and you can track how far they are from your house. But it cost us almost $700 for him to install a kitchen faucet and it took him about an hour to complete the job. In my opinion, that just doesn’t seem right.

Aiello helped us change our heating and Ac system from oil to propane. They were wonderful. They coordinated with the propane company and they also installed on demand water heater. Had my entire well replaced. Noticed that it stopped working Thursday evening at 5:30. They had someone out within an hour and half to assess the issue. Informed me the entire system needed to be replaced. It was 31 years old. Had a team out Friday morning and had water back in my house by 3pm Friday. Less than 24 hours without water. Great ppl. We found we had a water leak, but we didn’t know the exact source of the leak. Aiello Home Services was very easy to schedule. They actually offered appointments same day or next day, which would have been great if we could have arranged our own schedules. They had no difficulty working around our schedule. Rocco, their technician arrived promptly and was very professional. The agreed diagnostic fee was confirmed and he quickly identified the source of our leak. We discussed a few options to fix the leak and he provided estimates. He fixed the leak super fast, cleaned up, and was on his way to his next appointment. The cost was just as estimated, no hidden charges. We highly recommend Aiello and Rocco, and would use them again if necessary.

First of all, the plumber that was sent here was top notch, professional and informative. He was on-time and We had two items to take care of: moisture around the base of our toilet and a possible Jacuzzi faucet repair. We were planning around a $200-300 cost at most.The Jacuzzi was a non-issue as it was believed since it was not used enough that the rubber bushings shrunk. So by running it for a couple of days stopped the leak since it was fine since.The second was the wax ring and a flange replacement. Time spent: 1 hourPlease think now for anyone out there what this might cost to get done and I know you would be not even close what we were charged.Understand they did come out in two days notice, but that does not justify the rates charged.I will tell you the price we paid was north of $800.00 for basically a toilet flange and ring, which are really one unti as they are replaced at the same time anyways.Did we use them, yes, as we were closing on our house and tradesman are busy so they have us caught to just get it done.I showed the invoice to our general contractor for our new house, he said you better not have paid that. Well we did, we had no choice and I am warning you of the same ahead of time.But to pay those prices for parts you can get for less than $60.00 for 1 to 1.5 hours of work. Enough said.We will not use them again due to this.A true Honest review of money getting flushed down the toilet.

Professional, very courteous and they know what they’re doing. We’ve had them fix some electrical problems and just now replace a hot water heater. First to answer, get here, give us alternate estimates and finish the job within 24 hrs.

Was told via text and verbally they would be out the next day too fix my thermostat, next day received a call stating there not coming out until the following day after I cancelled 2 other appts with electricians. Basically called a liar by the dispatcher and once manager pulled the recorded phone call where he heard his dispatcher stating they would be out next day apologizes and sends a guy out this afternoon. Electrician gets to my house at 12:00 and at 12:05 I receive a phone call stating my thermostat isn’t compatible with my system and he could sell me a new one with a coverage package for $370. And then he has a cheaper one for $270 with a coverage package, I just wanted my thermostat installed. Basically he was in my house for 5 minutes and charged me $106.00 to look at a thermostat for 5 minutes. My wife went online purchased the same thermostat he was selling for $370 for $169 with a $100 dollar mail in rebate from eversource so paid $69.00. Do not use this company very unprofessional and I’m going to make sure I portray my complaints to the thousands of customers I interact with on a yearly basis. Being in sales I will never treat my customers this way!

I called for an estimate for a hot tub hookup and they came out later that day. Great! The guy doing the estimates tells me that to do the job I would need a service upgrade and gave me a $10,000 estimate. I paid $70 for him to tell me this. I’ve since had TWO electrical companies come and give me an estimate, both of which were under $2,000. I understand that every company needs to make their profits, but Jesus Christ, this company is flat out con artists. I’ve seen a few other reviews stating the same thing. They’re fast and customer service is great, but don’t be fooled. I guarantee you ANY company is cheaper than them.

Time of delivery got extended by 4 weeks additional than initially promised and agreed. I had to spend resources to deal with that situation. Totally unexpected and unprofessional.Happy with the technicians and engineers who successfully performed the installation

He had two outside faucets completely changed out including running copper shut off valves in under two hours. Rocco came out to the house Saturday morning when I only had submitted a request on Friday night at 10pm. He was very informative about the issue at hand with our old water heater at our new house. When it was decided that we needed a brand new one completely as well as a relocation on a few things he gave me a quote and a good description of everything that price included. He also had everything ready to go on the truck already, and had our old water heater out and new one installed in less than two hours. Extremely knowledgeable and did great clean work. We contacted Aiello to fix our furnace and change our oil filter. The furnace was running rough and we hadn’t changed our filter in three years - our bad. We were negligent.The service guy that showed up for a diagnostic pulled the initial intake apart, sprayed some fluid through the screen and declared the furnace dead. He wouldn’t change the filter because he said the housing was painted shut. He wouldn’t vacuum the line because he claimed Aiello only replaces lines. After he performed a five minute diagnostic, the furnace wouldn’t work at all - so now he had us. He also made it a point to remind us we wouldn’t have hot water either.He did pull about a half dozen options off a hand held device for a “brand new this” and a “brand new that”, etc., etc. These “out of the can” stock options ran from $5,400 to $14,400. It seemed like a scheme - a con job - a fleecing. I paid the serviceman the $105.00 diagnostic fee ($99 + tax) and told him we weren’t interested in full-scale replacements at top dollar. I own a service-based company and we send very qualified repairmen out for reasonable prices and resourceful solutions. We replace items only if there are no other solutions. Aiello is a broken record - all new - top dollar - the highest you’ll pay anywhere I’m sure.The next repairman from a small company came an hour after I called. He changed the filter, cleaned the line and the injector and got the furnace running right. I was charged $290. I gave the him a $50 tip for being honest and resourceful. I also gave that company my oil business.Please don’t bother with a response. You need to open a division that performs repairs rather than end-of-the-gangplank sales ploys for exorbitant solutions. God forbid I was a helpless old lady who didn’t know better.

The service is good. But the price is not reasonable. Charged 670 dollars in total to replace the fan motor (taking less then 10 minutes ) when normally it only cost 300 dollars.

The technician, Brodey, was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He persisted until the problem was fixed. Aiello is a bit expensive, but their service is high quality from the moment you call to book the appointment until the job is completed.

Very responsive, were able to come in just 2 hours from call. It was quite pricey to just clear a clogged kitchen sink. The operator did not mention that it would be cheaper to schedule someone to come but I think that was just the $69. It was $316 to run their snake down and clear the drain. Took about 5 minutes as I already had the issue identified. Peter was great though, very polite and efficient.

I was in a bind and needed someone to come out the same day for what would be deemed as a non-emergency. They were at my house by early afternoon. The technician was very friendly and professional and the charge for the service was extremely reasonable. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I recently had $4000 of work done on my 12 yo central air conditioner. Too expensive? Yes, but they did the initial install. They cleaned the condenser, added a UV light and changed the filter to an electro-static filter.After two months I wanted to check the filter to see how dirty it was (we have three dogs). No surprise that it was quite dirty. The air handler is in my attic, accessible only by a six foot ladder. While up there, I saw that the tech had left the old dirty paper filter and a box with what looked like new filter inserts. I saw no instructions on the box and the tech didnt speak to my wife after the installation regarding filter replacement procedures.I took a look at the new electrostatic filter holder and managed to get it loosened from the air handler. I unplugged the power to the filter, opened the filter cage and replaced the filter. I buttoned everything back up, climbed down, and went about my business. I ran a bunch of errands for 2+ hours and when I came home, the house was 80 degrees!!I immediately called Aiello and spoke to a receptionist. It was Saturday and they couldnt get anyone out until Monday at the earliest. I asked to escalate my service request because I just blew $4k on the unit. The receptionist was very polite and said she would try to have the tech call me. When the tech called, he basically told me that the unit probably blew a circuit or something because I didnt turn off the power to the AC (I never had to do that when changing paper filters). He blamed me and said it was my fault because I didnt read the instructions. I asked what instructions? Did you look in the bottom of the box? was his reply. I told him that no, I didnt - I saw no instructions. He said that it wasnt his problem that I didnt follow instructions. I told him that was completely unacceptable and it set a poor example of customer service. The tech then proceeded to tell me that it would probably cost me $600 to come out on a Saturday. But he wouldnt come out because I wasnt a preferred (meaning the client pays a monthly fee to have a tech on call at all times) client, he wasnt obligated to do anything. I said I needed a tech out to my house today, Id pay the $600 and would dispute the bill with his office later. At that point, as far as he was concerned, the conversation was essentially over.I called back Aiello and asked the receptionist to escalate my concerns to a manager or owner. She was doubtful but would try. Five minutes later I did receive a call from the HVAC manager. He repeated the same pitiful mantra that the tech laid on me and said it was not Aiellos fault that I was ignorant of the instructions.I feel that after the install, the tech should have brought down the instruction manual (that I was unaware of when I replaced the filter), handed it to my wife and said, here you go, these are the instruction for the electrostatic filter assembly. He certainly didnt hesitate to take a credit card for the $2k balance.Simple customer service skills were sorely lacking with the tech, his manager and Aiello. I will say the receptionist was very polite and professional. Maybe she could educate the rest of the staff.

I have a list of issues with this company as a whole. The answering service to schedule an appointment was very vague about availability and passed responsibility to a technician who only contacted me though text messages which were also vague. Pricing was not clear in the initial call for service and I was told it was only $67 for a diagnosis. When the servicemen came and evaluated the second floor clog, they priced it out quickly and jumped on me signing for the $600+ service. The second serviceman was carrying in equipment before I even agreed. I did question the quote referencing a much much lower advertised price and he brushed it off stating my clog didn’t qualify for that service price. It was clear they knew I had no other option and needed the service at whatever price they wanted to charge. After clearing the clog and reinstalling the toilet, they left my bathroom, hallway and stairs a mess! Their equipment left muddy (or worse!) tire tracks from my bathroom through the hallway and down the stairs, the toilet was dirty where they mounted new bolts and splatter from the snake was on the floor, tub and wall! There was a large chunk of debris (they obviously pulled from the pipe) left in the hallway. The service took under 45 minutes and the rush was noticed. This company is NOT WORTH THE PRICE WE HAD TO PAY! Obviously they were successful and quick but the quality of the service did NOT match the price. Find someone else to service your household needs who takes more care in their work and better care of their clients. Never again!

They were prompt in responding to my call on a Sunday morning, the tech was courteous and explained everything to us, including what steps to take next.

My refrigerator wasn’t cooling - First time using Aiello - needed to eliminate outlet as spice of problem - and needed to be upgraded .. contacted aiello at 10:30 am. They said someone would be here at 2. Received a text at 1:00- they were 25?min away. Two aiello electricians arrived at 1:30. Both were Knowledgeable polite, and accommodating. Had a new outlet in 25 min - and an estimate for replacing/ adding 4 more. Extremely happy with Aiello - reasonable rate - and they applied a 50 dollar coupon . I will definitely be using aiello again - very happy customer!

The service was great and I appreciated Stephen for coming out late in an emergency. He was very professional, informative and great to work with.

Super professional and amazing quality of work. They were very nice and took the time not track dirt or wet snow into my house. Very quick, quiet and again super professional. Will use they again for any plumbing problems and would strongly encourage anyone who needs plumbing work done to set up an appointment with them.

Its was a emergency call and had someone there for me within a hour recommend highly price was high on the installation of it though I believe could of been done for half that since the toilet he said was onlyn89.00 so rest was labor and tge 69 for service fee
