Window world did a great job – very responsive, excellent service. A really great value. The new windows look great and are working great. The crew was fast and did the job well. They replaced over 13 windows in a day! I’m very happy with the look of the windows and their performance. Are used to have a lot of drafts – those drafts are gone the windows look good from the inside and the outside. They used good quality materials and encased the outside of the windows with metal trim which looks really good. We have an a stork property and I feel like these windows look good – at least as good as any new window could. I highly recommend using a window world for good quality and value!

Because of the pandemic it took months to get the Windows but once delivered from the factory it was no time all till they came out to install. The installation took about 2 hours to complete and the installers did an awesome job. Very courteous and professional. Thanks for a job well done! We’ll be a return customer for couple more Windows soon.

I should have done more research to see that there were numerous people with the same dissatisfaction as myself. Let me say that my salesman outright lied to us. The Regional Sales Manager pretty much lied as well. It’s been 6 months and I still don’t have a window nor do I have my deposit refund, ( we canceled our order after 6 months of being lied to)I’ve now contacted my lawyer.Really window world, if you don’t believe in providing any kind of custom service, really just close your doors. Do us All a favor!

Window World completed installing 32 windows in our older home. The team doing the install were professional and clean. They arrived early and worked diligently and professionally throughout the day to finish the project in one day, as promised. We were impressed how every team member worked independently without coaching and then cleaned up the work site better than they found it.These windows are really wonderful and changed and modernized this old house. Great prices and high quality. If I had gone with Lowe’s my bill would have been $8000 with window world did 8 windows for less than half Lowe’s cost. James is great and the installers are efficient, clean, and do a high quality professional job.

If you know anything about installing windows then dont use this company. You could install them yourselves just as well. They cut corners and dont finish the job properly. Angel runs the Winchester location and his customer service is horrible. The company will dodge your calls when you have issues and will lie about their liability for the problems. I am currently starting legal proceedings against this company. Stay away from them.

I own a 1993 Dodge Ram F150 pick-up truck that I’m fixing up. Due to the age of the windshield - it needed replacing.I called Window World of Winchester and set up an appointment to be done at my residence.The guy didn’t show on the day and time that was set up on a call to their business office. I waited an extra 15 minutes then called their office. I was told there was a mix up - that they had me bringing in my truck to their facility.I specifically stated the installation had to be at my residence because the truck wasn’t drivable. I was then told the installer would be out the next day.The installer was a very nice guy. He was fast and efficient and quality oriented. He didn’t leave any unwanted refuse from the product that he installed (as other businesses have on occasion).I had been quoted a price over the phone on the initial service call so the installer said I’d be billed. He didn’t give me a receipt or any paperwork upon completion of the job. He just left.I didn’t realize that I’d been over charged a hundred dollars until I got my bank statement in the mail.Upon calling their business office.I was able to get the overage charge removed and got my money refunded. So be extra vigilant with this company.

From start to finish, weve been very impressed with Window World. From the salesman that sold us our new windows to the 2 gentlemen that installed. Even with Covid-19 slowing production down, I was still impressed as to how fast our windows were produced and installed.A lot of outside noise is blocked and the house looks much better with the replacement windows, the old windows were almost 40 years old and the old storm windows made the house look older. Communication between WW and us was very good and not what Im used to in this day and age. Meaning, I never had to call and check on our order or install statis.Thank you Window World of Winchester

She is avery valuable employee to your company. I began my window replacement experience by getting 3 estimates from local window companies. Window World, came in well under the other two companies with price and the product was superior. I was impressed. So much so....I had Cameron make me an estimate on a new roof. Which was installed a week before my windows by an amazing roof crew. The window fellow, Rego was equally amazing. I highly recommend this company. Btw..im no dummy when around construction.

We just received our new windows and WOW they are amazing. We have so much more light! Cameron was our sales guy and he came in and gave us a great recommendation for the house. He was very professional and on top of the entire process. The team who came out to install the windows were kind and clean. They went in so fast. All 9 of our windows were in before 1pm. The workers are great, the only problem I have found is they are so booked that they don’t have time to solve any problems that may arise from installation or any warranty work.I am happy with the windows and door we had installed. My complaint is on the warranty side. We have been waiting to get a problem with air leaking under door for about eight months.Hopefully we never have a broken glass because it may be a little wet, cold, or extremely breezy😂

Hello thank you for a job well done and a whole experience that was very professional and timely. the only reason that there is not a 5 star granted is that the work crew, (2men) who did a fantastic job on tear out and replacement, needed either a third man or more time... it took me two hours to clean the windows and remove the stickers on each window. I was not told that it would be a total finished project so no complaints. Anyway the windows that had put in my home around 10 years ago when that crew left they were squeaky clean and no clean up needed on my part at all. So as a suggestion to window world and a heads up to a potential buyer !!marvelous windows marvelous sales marvelous contact people marvelous installers ……….. finish the job so you WOW people instead of just give a great window at a great price …

I would like to leave 4 stars but my review is based on a few different factors. First off the installation crew did a great job near as I can tell. The windows look great, seems to be of great quality but only time will tell. The installation crew was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with my questions. The biggest issue I had was with the salesman. I wanted Windows World to do my windows and my garage doors. At the time of the window estimate the salesman and I spoke about them doing my garage doors but I had a contract with Lowes that wasnt going too well. Lowes gave me an installation date and didnt fulfill. The Windows World salesman instructed me to cancel the contract so Windows World could install my garage doors. At least 10 days as far as I can remember went by with no word from the salesman after I cancelled my contract with Lowes. I ended up calling Windows World only to find out they dont do garage doors. So now I am left on my own to find another installer. I could have just stayed with Lowes for the garage door installation. So the 2 stars is based on the sales experience, not the installation. And of course Windows World did nothing to make this right.

Efficient and consistent installation. Good caulking with minimal mess of debris. There was a slight delay with ordering but Rhonda kept us informed. The end result is we feel a significant difference in temp with new windows and they look great. Overall we are satisfied!

Well at time of sale, we were told installation should be around last week of October, first week of November, 7 to 9 weeks. Wife got a call last evening from Window World, its closer to 12 weeks now as long as it doesnt rain, if it rains it would be sometime mid December. The hold up - one window they had to come back to re-measure. That they said held everything up by two weeks, you would think they would prioritize installation on a delayed order. But hey they got tied up, its their game.

By far one of the worst experiences we have had dealing with a company. We first met with a representative from Window World in mid-October. He came to our house and went over pricing, payments, etc. We were told 5-6 weeks until windows arrived and installed. Spoke with representative about getting doors installed as well. He told us to go to home depot or lowes because it would be a lot cheaper. Then tells us they have extra doors at their warehouse that they needed to get rid of and he could make us a deal. Tells us he will speak with the installation crew and when they come to install the windows we will pay them cash and they will install the door. So he measures for the door and leaves. He then sends an installer to our house to measure all windows and for the door. We go to the warehouse and pick up the door and pay him. January 7th, a crew finally shows up to install along with the representative we had been working with. He tells the crew to install the door first and then do windows. If not finished they could come back later in the week to finish. The crew measures the door and says its not the right size and they would have to frame around it(we told them that was fine, we just wanted it done). (We were told it was the wrong size by a different contractor who was installing another door for us.) The crew installs all of the windows and never touches the door. We speak with the representative and he schedules to have a crew come back and finish the door. We also inform him that the crew that installed the windows left trash, screws and nails all over our yard, driveway and inside the house, as well as some of the caulking needed fixed. The day the crew was to come back and fix the issues and install the door, they never show up and didnt even call to let us know they werent coming. So we were scheduled to have everything finished and fixed this past Wednesday. We had already cleaned up the trash. So the crew arrives and fixes the caulking issues. We asked them about the door and they had no idea they were supposed to do it. So we call the rep and he says he will call us back in a few minutes. He calls back and his solution was....I will just give you your money back for the door. He was to bring it to me last night. Never called or showed up. I finally got the money this morning. So now we have a door thats apparently the wrong size sitting in our garage, caulking smeared on window sills, nails and screws scattered throughout our driveway and grass(which hopefully doesnt end up in a foot or a tire) and a monthly payment. Oh....and Ive made a call to corporate who said they would email the owner and he would contact me, I also called the chantilly location which is where I was told his office was at and left a message. Still no call back from anyone. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GIVING THESE PEOPLE MONEY OR BUSINESS!

The only problem I have is I ordered a diamond grid window and specifically said for it to be the same grid pattern as my bathroom diamond grid window. The window I received was not even close. Does not match the diamond grid that they offer on the selection paper.

The worst experience I have ever had dealing with a contractor doing work on my house. The crew that came most didnt speak English and the one that did spoke to me on the phone and than told his guys in Spanish that I was a real b**** to deal with, he didnt know that my stepbrother knows Spanish and knew what he said. Than reported this to Window World when I paid my final bill and nothing was done. The work is already coming apart and hasnt even been 6 months. Would not recommend them to anyone.

The big kicker was, we had 3 days to cancel the order and these guys had already charged our credit card. Now going through a dispute on the credit card.

We had a very positive experience with Window World. Ken was our sales rep and he arrived on time and prepared. He was patient, dealing with a late husband and yapping/eating toddler. Since the previous owners had used WW and we were happy with the quality of those windows, we didnt have to go through the nitty gritty of everything and just ordered more of the same.Ken went over our options to help us save costs on the bathroom awning windows and sliders. He was not pushy at all. I appreciated that he left the one-pager breakdown of what we were considering and how much it all cost, so that we were able to figure out how we could save. For example, we decided to skip a few windows this time and will replace them at a later time. Another company (which offered Buy 1, Get 1, but each window cost more than twice as much as WW, so no deal) would not give us the breakdown, just a lump sum, which was not helpful. I also liked that Ken didnt harass us with calls (like a third window company did), and instead we called him to place the order. Once ordered,, it took about 2-3 weeks for the windows to come in and scheduling was easy.The crew of 2 (for 14 windows) arrived at 8:30am and were done by 4:45. They cleaned up very well and the windows look great. Weve had neighbors comment about how nice they look and that the crew seemed efficient and didnt make a mess. No complaints.

No communications from office on status of order, only when I called did I receive an update. I showed the lead installer my alarm wires but he did not let the outside crew know about the alarm wire. They cut the first two wires, I stopped them and told these Professionals how to cut the windows without cutting the wires. They did not cut any more wires. Scott said they were not responsible for the wire. But DUTY OF CARE BY professionals would have eliminated this issue.

The salesman Linton was very professional, friendly and he knew the products. He also maintained contact with my wife and I throughout the whole process. The office personnel where also very helpful and informative with billing questions as well as a few updates on our order. Hire Window World of Winchester ONLY if you wish to be frustrated and aggravated. We had their salesman come to our home to give an estimate for a new roof and spouting on our house. The salesman was very friendly and seemed to know what he was talking about. After getting a few estimates of some companies we decided to go with Window World and gave a deposit of over $3300,00. I was told by their salesman that someone would call me in a day or two to set up the install date. After 2 1/2 weeks with no call I had to call them to see what was going on. I was told someone would be calling me within a day. After a week and half I called them again to schedule a date. Two days later I finally got a call from them. A date was set and I was told that I was told someone would call as the date came closer to confirm and material would be delivered the day before work would start. No phone call no material. I again called and had to wait for a call back. I got a call and was told sorry we can do it on the agreed day but they could 2 weeks later. Material was delivered the day before the scheduled day and I made arrangements to be home. 8:00 AM cam and went, the time I was told that the installers would arrive. Around 10:00 AM I received a call saying their truck broke down and that they would not be able to make it, not caring that I had to arrange to be there that day. I was told that they would be there the following day and guaranteed to be completed in one day. Finally they arrived to do my roof. I was not able to be there the entire day but had to come and go throughout the day. I returned mid day to be told that the spouting that was delivered was about 6 foot too short for both the front and back of the house and new world have to be delivered in a couple days. Finally the following week the roof and spouting were completed. I called Window World that same day to make the balance payment, again a little over $3300. The next day my wife and I left for a out of town trip. The middle of the day I get a phone call from them asking if I was ready to settle up. I told the person who call that I call them the day before and the full payment was take from my debit account. His reply was OK no Im sorry, our mistake, nothing. Now this morning nearly 2 weeks later that took another $3300,00 from my account. I called to see what was going on and was told by a very rude person from Window World Hey its no big deal it happens all the time REALLY?!?!?. I was given another number to call and again talked with someone who wanted to given me excuses and even told me nothing showed that I paid the balance in full. I informed her that yes my bank showed all 3 times they received money from me and the 3rd one should have never been taken. She even told me Sir, you need to speak English Sorry but I was born and raised in the US, English is what I speak! Until I told her that I would contact my lawyer did she agree to look into what they took more money and would call back. I finally received a call back and was told they made a mistake, REALLY a $3300.00 mistake, and would return the money to my account but it would be several days before it would show up in my account. At this time I still dont have the money yet. As far as the work, everything looks OK I only hope the shingles dont blow off or spouting fall off. Plus after reading other reviews here I see that pull the same crap with other customers, No communication, the sales person saying I used to be a Roof/ Window/Siding ect. . .installer, the truck broke down/ ALL LIES! I would never do business with them again.

We got windows from WindowWorld a few years ago. I recently detected that the seal of one of the window was broken and I contacted them about it. With now problem they guaranteed their lifetime warranty and replaced the broken window with no hassle and problem. Not only is their product great but also their customer service. Theses people out of the Winchester office are so unprofessional. Heres why. . . They cane out for the first time and took measurements. Then they inform me that they will once again be out here to take more measurements before coming to do the job. Well measure twice cut once makes sense. They call me and set up a appointment for a Thursday between 11 and 3, they never came. I waited a day to see if maybe I had the day mixed up once again no call no show. No notification saying hey we wont be by today or hey we need to reschedule. I call them monday morning at about 8 something am and explain that I had to take a day off of work and lost money out of my paycheck waiting for people who never showed and never even called to reschedule or let me know they were not going to be able to make it. The lady expressed concern and would get back to me. I called again 6 hours later since she was going to get back to me and never did. I find this company extremely unprofessional for a expensive job of a few thousand dollars. So being that they dont show up on time, miss appointments, dont call to reschedule or give you a update I would highly recommend going with someone else. Unless you want to deal with some good old B ullshit.

We saw the many advertisements in the paper about Window World and interest free financing. We were in need of a new French door. I called and set up a free estimate. They sent one of their salesman, Cameron out to take measurements. He measured our door, we discussed the type of door we wanted, picked out door knobs and locks etc. We filled out the financial papers and were told that it would take 4-6 weeks, this was May 3rd. The first week of June, I phoned and inquired about the door and the status of delivery, I was told that there were not any measurements in the system for our order. I explained that Cameron had measured and we picked out everything. She said we needed a second set of measurements. This did not make any sense to me, but I set up the appointment for the additional measurements two days after on a Friday. NO ONE showed up. I called the following Monday and they said they were sorry and rescheduled. When I asked why they didnt show up, the girl on the phone said I dont know. They came and took the measurements again and said it would be 4 weeks. The first week of July I called to again inquire and I was told that the door was scheduled to arrive July 12th and someone would call me when it arrived. On July 17th, I called to check the delivery status and spoke to a girl in the Chantilly office that told me that the door was in and she would email the Winchester office and someone would call me to schedule, no one called, so I called on Wednesday July 19th got the answering service who then transferred me to the Winchester office and the young lady in the office said let me check to see if the door is here. She said your door is here( which I already knew that) and I will have Tiffany call you to set up the installment, she did not call me back. I called the following week and finally got set up for August 5 for installation of our door. On August 5, our door was finally installed, 3 months later. The installation went smooth, the door looked great! The following week we noticed a smell in our basement( which is where the French door was installed). My husband realized that when they plugged in their power tools they unplugged our freezer. We noticed it a week later... everything in the freezer was ruined and our basement smelled terrible. The following Monday I called and was told that the production manager would call me back to discuss this, I called two more times and I have yet to receive a call from the the production manager. This has been beyond POOR customer service.. We spent 3,000.00 on this door, this was not a cheap experience, but they could care less that we lost everything in our freezer...I am still waiting on that call from the production manager! I would think twice before using them.

Terrible customer service!!! Signed contract for siding/door/soffit vents beginning of April and told products would take ~3weeks to come in. Received multiple calls in May telling us our windows were in... we didnt even order any windows. Finally in the beginning of June we were told that our products were in and they would be delivered mid-week and we would need to be present the next day for door installation. My husband had to get approved time off work, and then they didnt even show up for the day of delivery and finally called saying that they wouldnt be starting until the next week. Very unprofessional. During tear-down the workers left nails, dust, metal pieces, empty drink cans and glass from a broken window all over our yard/driveway. They nailed through the wall from the outside when installing siding and punctured our inside wall and broke drywall off. The siding was the completely wrong color, and the soffit vents were improperly installed. We were promised by manager Henry that the vents would be removed and installed properly with photo documentation to prove that they fixed the problem. First time home & land owner, bought a place in the mountains a few months ago that had single pane wooden windows and Florida windows that I knew would drive up heating costs, so I found Window World of Winchester and decided to give them a try so I could make my house more energy efficient.Heres been my experience in a nutshell - and its not over yet:1. Initially worked with Sales Rep, Jonathon Whele, who showed up w/o the necessary things he needed. At his second visit to get to me sign the sales sheet he didnt give me the first time, he shows up wearing sandals, white dirty cargo shorts and a white t-shirt with a confederate glad on it, and while hes making a new sales sheet/contract he realizes he misquoted (by ~$1K) and began cursing saying this was the 4th f***ing time hes done that this week; hes f***ed, etc. After telling him I didnt appreciate the bait & switch on the price, he told me I could just cancel the job, when I agreed that I should, he just grabbed his stuff and left. Then follows up with text messages trying to blame it on me.2. Get in touch with Scott Phelps, the Sales Manager, who was nice and understanding and says thats a misrepresentation of the company hes going to send his best guy, Cameron Miller, to come re-quote the job. Cameron comes out, does a great job - even upsells a couple windows in the bedroom b/c he used to be an installer so I trusted he knew what would fit and look best for an awkward couple of windows. No installers at 11 a.m. Receive a phone call from the scheduler saying their truck broke down, they now wont be out until 2 - 4 p.m.3:30p still no installers, cant get in touch with anyone from Window World. The 2 installers finally showed up around 4:45 p.m. - we asked them if they were going to be able to get the job done today and they shook their head nocalled Cameron 4:49 p.m. to tell him what the installers told me. he asked to be put on the phone with the installers. A few minutes later Cameron came back on the phone and he assured me that the job would be completed today - at least what they would need access to the inside of the house for. Then they would come back on Sunday to complete the outside work.During the demo of the old windows the guys did no prep to ensure that all the debris would be easy to clean up; nothing to cover the carpets where they were walking around and working on; at one point I asked them to put down something on the carpets the installer looked at me like he didnt know what I was saying and then just decided to work without shoes instead of putting something down on the carpet.the job was completed around 8:15 p.m. - the only windows that were installed were the 5 windows in the sunroom, and the 2 double-hung windows in the bedroom. they spray foamed the outside and told me that the inside was done.when we walked into the bedroom to go over those windows - the installer stepped on ~1 splinter of wood. That could have been more or one of my dogs.after they left I spent the next ~30 min cleaning to ensure neither myself or my dogs would step on anything; finding many splinters of woods and screws both inside and outside.they had not even bothered to gather the demo trash from that window - it still lays in my yard.Sunday, 10/18 I did not receive a phone call, text message, email, or visit to fulfill the promise of the job being completedwindows that were not properly installed - didnt even use level - left gaps all around the windows. It got down to 28 degrees last night, which means my heat ran throughout the entire night5. Ive had no one follow up with about this TWO DAYS LATER - Ive had to be the one to make phone calls and constantly check up on when Im going to get this job completed.
