Ive been looking for a new dentist since my first dentist moved. So I looked around and bc Amherst accepted my insurance and the staff setting up the appointment were really nice. So I go in get tooth pulled and this is where I see if the dentist did good job. He numbed me up good. Even when I got home no pain. The day after no pain. Its nice having a dentist who knows tooth pain is no joke. He did an amazing job. Thank you so much. I believe I found my new dentist.

This has been my dentist since I was a child. The staff is always extremely inviting, and Dr. Brown is always professional and personable with his patients.They are also great with their scheduling, I have never waited more than 5 minutes passed my appointment time in 20 years.

I was very concerned about going back to the dentist until I came here from the first phone call til I came in for my second visit where I got a root canal done everyone was very friendly, helpful, compassionate about helping and ensuring I understood everything. I have finally found a practice that looks out for my best interest and not just to get money. I cant wait to have my smile back. As they say no pain no gain, well here theres no pain only gain. Everyone at this practice is amazing!!! I moved to the area a few years ago from NC and needed to find a new dentist here and I’m so thankful I found Dr. Brown and his staff! I had quite a bit of restorative work that needed to be done and he and his staff have been nothing short of helpful, compassionate, and kind throughout each step of the process. Dr. Brown has such a gentle and friendly ease about him that truly makes each visit a pleasure. And all of the ladies at the front desk have been beyond lovely and tremendously wonderful with helping me to find an insurance and treatment plan that works with my budget and seeing them and chatting with them always puts a smile on my face!! I’m so thankful to have found Amherst Dental Practice!!!!

Dr Brown and all the ladies of the office are the amazing! I have been with them for a few years and I could not see myself going anywhere else. They are out of network with my insurance but honestly the extra expense is more than worth it. You feel like you matter from the moment you walk in the door. I would say after about 2 visits everyone working their would greet me by my first name without having to look my chart up. We need more doctors and office staff like this practice.

I can not express enough how amazing the people are at Amherst Dental. Lets start with calling to make the appointment. I had called around 3 in the afternoon and the nice lady asked if she could call be back the next morning when her other coworker could help her process a new client. Id had other offices do that and it takes a day or so before they actually call you back. Nope! Like clockwork around 10 they gave me a call back! They were so pleasant and happy to get all my information to start the new client process! We got appointments for my 2 children and myself the same week! When you walk into the office they immediately greet you with a smile and turn all their attention to you! Their Covid process was excellent. They take your temp, check your oxygen levels, ask a few questions and you sign a paper. All done! My kids have not stopped talking about teeth hygiene since we got home! THEY BRUSHED THERE TEETH TWICE LAST NIGHT! The nurses were so good with them! Shout out to Laura who cares so much for her patients! Ive never had a health care worker so concerned with someone she just meet and making sure the kids understood the importance of keeping your teeth healthy! You dont feel like your just another number there and that you and your family matter. At times like today that goes far in my book. They are doing an amazing job! Give them a try and you wont regret it!

Laura, who has replaced Kathy, has been an exceptional addition to Dr Browns office. She has done everything in her power to make me comfortable with my dental procedures. We have gone to Dr Brown for a number of years and all his dental work has held up remarkably well. He also went out of his way recently to help my husband with a dental emergency seeing my husband 3 times in a 2 day period. We appreciate his care of his patients.

I have been going to Dr. Brown for over twenty years now. Even though I live in Annapolis, MD now I still make the trek to Winchester for my dentist. Dr. Brown stays current on all of the latest advances in dental technology and techniques and does fantastic work. He is the only dentist in the Winchester area that I would even consider going to.

His bedside manner is second to none, which takes away the stresses and anxiety of going to the dentist. Very disappointed. I thought I had finally found a great dentist based on all the great reviews, but my experience was very negative. Not with Dr. Brown but with the office manager. I tried to get some upfront expenses to know what my insurance would cover and what I would have to pay. I was told one figure over the phone to get me in the door but when the pre-qualification came in it was considerably higher and the office manager still did not provide me with other expenses at all & would not return e-mails. I think she a poor representative of the practice...but Dr. Brown seemed very nice. MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING.

This is my second visit. Appointments are on time and makes sure you dont get too far ahead of yourself as far as cost. Very pleased.
