I go to winchester gateway to file taxes. I called this location (because gateway currently has limited staff and hours) to help me with a few things regarding my taxes I filed this year. This lady told me to call winchester gateway when they reopen....not because she cant help me. She just didnt want too. Lazy...

75 minutes is a short time to finish everything and know where we stand. Thats what it took (yes there was extra time because we had to make another appointment for my wife to sign the forms but that wasnt your fault)

Peace of mind

I didnt feel that we got a $350 value from the service provided this year. We did not have a complicated tax return and felt that our questions were not clearly answered. I couldve entered this information online myself for $50.

The lady was very polite and helpful and didnt mind helping figure out what I needed to know for moving. Making sure I was in the know.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone do their taxes here. The lady laughed at me when she told me how much I owed. Same lady filed incorrectly for my wife who now owes over 2 grand for her 2016 taxes ... in 2018. When we went to try and get it figured out the lady was clueless. There was a fill in from the Martinsburg office who was actually extremely helpful and explained to us that my wife owes because the lady couldn’t count right and gave tax credits that weren’t appropriate. I’ll never use H&R again but if I did, I would at least got to the martinsburg one

Ive been a customer of H&R Block for about 20 consecutive years now. The piece of mind I have when I leave, and the refund I usually receive, have probably made me a customer for life.

I always have a very nice person to do my taxes and they take their time so theyre no errors but the amount being charged is a little more than should be
