I am disgusted with this company. I feel profiled and I was denied today and I have no idea why. Im a RN, make plenty of money, have a 700 credit score, no felonies and wonderful references. They didnt even check my references because I checked. And they are extremely rude. By law, we dont have to explain our decision unless it is related to credit score and our decision was not based on credit score. They seriously will not tell me why I was denied! The apartments I saw had been bombed for roaches, had holes in the ceilings and were not cleaned or freshly painted. And their website is terrible and non-existent. Its 2021, get with the times. BP Properties, you missed out on a great tenant. Shame on you.

They approved me but declined my daughter and fiance bc she didnt work even though I made enough to cover everything on the apartment

I filled out an application and explained my concerns. During covid I lost my job and home. I was denied unemployment and did not receive covid relief funds in time to pay my rent. I am living in a two bedroom house with my three kids, my brother my mom and husband. I make enough money to pay my rent. To make matters worse I couldnt get my $40 back for the application fee. And I felt Cindy wasnt all that polite. I checked on my application and she just dismissed me with no care in the world saying she guess Ill have to keep looking for a home. COVID really ruined lives!!!! Bp Properties will not get my money EVER!!!

Denied my application and never called me back or emailed me back to explain why despite my numerous attempts to contact them asking why. I have no judgements or Evictions and a 670 credit score and no felonies or violent charges. I honestly believe they unfairly profile people which is weird because I dont have inappropriate tattoos or tattoos everywhere, I dont cuss, and I was really courteous just for them to treat me like trash.Ive also heard many nasty things about this company from people that have rented thru them. I have also known people with evictions and felonies who lived in their properties so there is NO reason they should have turned me down.The properties I viewed were terrible! One had a HUGE hole in one of the bedroom doors and it was in the worst neighborhood in town. The other was old as heck and not taken care of at all.This company is horrible.I would NEVER rent any property from them.

This was by far the worst experience renting from anywhere in my entire life. From the unprofessional staff, specifically the older red-head receptionist, to the consistent and ignored maintenance issues, to the noisy and unsavory neighbors that were frequently involved with police...I could not make this up. Numerous phone calls, voicemails, emails, and work orders ignored or brushed off. It takes months to get an answer from someone and that usually meant me physically going into the office in person to file a complaint, even then it was dismissed. Major roach problem in the building I lived in, they barely sprayed and when they did, they always gave a last minute notice to make accommodations. The building I lived in, and nearby properties, were run down, which is a shame because some of the properties are historical and could be so beautiful if actually cared for. Frequent electrical and heating issues. The winter was always freezing, they have the heat very low and on a timer. The buildings are definitely not up to code, with constant repairs and reconstruction being made to the roof or walls, most likely without permits considering the quality and the type of contractors they used. Plumbing is horrible, drains were always backed up and the toilet consistently overflowed. I cant tell you how many times we bought draino and had to have Roter-Rooter come out, it still didnt resolve the ongoing issue. Staff is unprofessional, always had an attitude, made rude remarks and just acted as if everything was a burden. They werent very intelligent in the way they conducted business, very dismissive and counter-productive. The rent is on the lower end for a reason, it is not worth your time and energy. I honestly hope the city gets involved and at least forces BP to legitimately improve their properties and business dealings.

These sobs have locked my laundry up twice before the posted close time.Braddock st laundry. Both times they were adamant that I come back in the morning.

By far the worst rental agency you can ever get housing from. They dont care about their tenants and it takes them months to fix any problems that you have in your home. Theyre overpriced and most of their properties have severe bug problems that they neglect. If I could give zero stars I would, they are slum lords

Dont rent from these people,they take forever,to fix any repairs on malfunctions in the rental property.

They are great have been renting for over a year with them! Always answer any question I have and respond very fast! They work with you and are always super pleasant!

Beyond rude and lazy. I couldnt get a answer in a week. Guess thats my answer. And the house is just setting empty. Sad places of business can get away this this behavior.

When I first moved in to the apartment I used to rent from them, there was a small hole in the ceiling which they said that they would fix. For several months, they never came to fix it, and it grew bigger and sprung a huge leak. It also started to grow black mold. Every month, when I would go to pay my rent, I would tell them about this problem, and they kept telling me that they would send someone to take a look at it, but nobody ever came.I also had a constant problem with my sink and tub having problems draining. Also, a lot of the neighbors from my building were thieves, or drunk drug addicts who would have loud visitors come over at the crack of dawn. The building was also overrun with bugs and my front door had a really bad problem of not being able to lock.Oh, and the office staff are incredibly rude.

Quite unprofessional. Sent a very polite email in regards if we could work an arrangement-since I work at the hopsital and cant match their schedule. sorry but, no. Was my response. Honestly whos answering a teenager or an adult? If this is there service with potential clients, I cant imagine the treatment tetnats receive.

These guys are very friendly and do an amazing job of finding you homes to rent that meet your requirements. I have no complaints.

Places are over priced and the maintenance and service stinks! 3 days waiting on maintenance to fix heat and temps going down to 20 degrees tonight. Called 3 times for a fridge that dont work and two weeks later still no fridge. Was told they have more important emergency to take care of will get a fridge put in when they can. Ceiling light in kitchen needs replacing it dont work. Nothing like a dark kitchen! Still two weeks and waiting. Never again will I give my hard earned money to this company!

Owner keeps buying properties and neglects current properties. Going on a year with mold not resolved. Half the electrical outlets are fried and a fire hazard. Ceiling is close to collapsing. Water line freezes. Office attempts illegal practices (changes rent mid lease) but hey the rents cheap until they start creeping it up every year for “renting cost in the area” but your place gets worse off because maintenance never knows about half the problems the office has going on. Sent two certified legal letters dating back to September with no response. Will most likely be consulting with an attorney, health department, and the building inspector.

Wouldve been a great experience if the receptionist had given me the right set of keys to check out an apt the 1st time, rather then me having to go back to the office to exchange them for right set.

Theyve worked with me when I was in tight spots, very grateful for that. Maintenance could use improvement- lots of problems with the house that arent being addressed, despite multiple formal requests put in.

I am currently not renting from them but have put in my rental application . . i fell in love with 2 of the three places i looked out . . fingers crossed i get this cute little house that they have for rent . because i love it and the staff was so pleasant and nice

Staff is pleasant at first but they never fix anything correctly the half ass fix stuff. Hardwood floors are painted dark brown that starts peeling off as soon as you mop the first time. They have the worst maintance ever and they dont care about you or your family or your bills being too high from the repairs that need done

Wouldnt rent to us, said our service dog was to big for the small apartment. Also they charge $25 per person credit check.
