I have been going to Aron for almost 20 years. His professionalism and focus on his craft are unmatched. It is such a luxury to go get a haircut and know every time you will receive an excellent haircut and exactly what you asked for. He also is extremely funny and engaging - I always look forward to the discussion as well as the haircut. He has been phenomenal with my son as well - since he was a very little boy all the way through teenage years. He also refuses to raise his prices. In short, he is a phenomenal barber and a really good guy.

Aron is hidden gem in Winchester. He has been cutting and styling my hair since he took over Winchester Hair Salon for Men back in the 94 or so. Give him a call and get your hair done. He knows all his clients, young and...senior, and delivers the haircut they would like to have.For the first time, after more than 20 years as a client of Aron’s, I found a review on his website that was very much out of character. Karl Miller wrote that he stopped by during a recent visit to the Winchester Farmers Market, which is just across the street from 15 Waterfield Road, and got what sounds like a very unsatisfactory haircut. This was puzzling: Aron operates Winchester Salon for Men on an appointments only basis. He would not have taken an unscheduled walk-in customer. Aron rents a chair in the shop (Alessandro’s) on Waterfield Road and schedules all his clients. Reviews are important to an all businesses, but especially to a sole proprietor. I hope that this perspective will be read by Karl. Nobody should suffer from a bad haircut in Winchester, and I know that no one would get a bad haircut in Aron’s chair.

Aron is far and away the best barber I have ever had. He has a great sense of what cut will work well with my hair type and head shape, and explains to me why. Aron is the best - a true Master Barber and International Stylist with a lifetime of experience and a great personality. Ive been going exclusively to Winchester Hair Salon for Men for 30 years. He managed my hair back when it was thick and full, and has adjusted the style perfectly as Ive aged and its thinned out. Besides regular visits, I make a point of scheduling a cut right before special events and UK trips. Hes great with details and can layer hair perfectly using an old-style razor. Hes also done my mustache at times, and I know he does beards. Give WHSFM a try, and you will definitely be glad you did!

Aron has been cutting my 12 year old’s hair since my son was 2 and falling asleep in Aron’s chair. Every time we had to use another barber - out of state or whatever - the comparison with Aron’s cut was so dramatic we soon came to appreciate that it was always worth the wait. My son’s hair is absolutely straight — and so you see everything and can’t disguise a bad cut! Arons cuts are consistently excellent. He is always responsive to my suggestions and also knows what I think looks great. He is kind to my boy who has never expressed anything but enthusiasm about getting a haircut from Aron. We also appreciate that he always manages to fit us in even with his full schedule. We are lucky to have in our town such an excellent barber, one we would definitely travel for if we had to.
