Eagen & Co is the only authentic barber experience I have found in the Winchester area. The staff is incredibly talented and will bend over backwards to help their clients. In particular Big Jim Yost is exceptionally gifted and passionate about his art. And yes, everything from a buzz to a mullet is treated with respect and care. This business shows class but wont stress your wallet.

The staff is professional and extremely friendly. They went as far as to help me jump start my car when the battery died after my haircut. Would very much recommend.

Travis has made getting a haircut a great nostalgic experience. His latest addition to his team Stan Wolfrey is one of the GREATEST barber ever.

Eagan & Company is by far the BEST barbershop within a 50 mile radius of Winchester, VA. Been coming here for almost 2 years.

While I have gotten a few haircuts there in the past, I cannot recommend them. I am tired of walking in to get a haircut there, only to be told that because I didnt have an appointment, they are fully booked. They didnt even ask if I was willing to wait, which I would have. If you are going to operate by appointment only, then say so on your website, and on your front windows/doors. After looking at other complaints about them on here, I think the bigger issue is they were afraid they might have to finish a haircut or two past their closing time. Oh the horror!! There are too many other places around here to get a decent haircut....that accept walk-ins!!!....without putting up with this nonsense.

Highly recommend this place for beard trims. Travis not only took care of my beard, trimming it to perfection, he also explained what he was doing and why because Im new to having a longer beard. I now have recurring appointments with him.

I took both my boys to them today and this was their first time ever getting haircut. Staff was amazing to us. We will be going back for sure.

I have had cuts from two female barbers here (I apologize for not remembering your names). They have been phenomenal in customer service and cleanliness. They have been prompt in keeping their appointments as well. Their shop has a cool looking theme. Check them out!

Before the pandemic sometimes there was a long wait but for good reason! I have never had anything but a exceptional haircut when I left and I have had atleast 5 different stylists cut my hair. Everyone there is so easy going and genuine, i just want to stay and and hangout after I’m done!

Mike and lance are great they take their time and make sure your cut is as perfect as you want it. Lance cut my toddler girls hair perfect almost like he has a photographic memory cause he made her look exactly like the photo of what we wanted. Best place in all of winchester, VA

My new Barber is Olivia. My barber that has cut my hair for 15 years had moved from the area a few months ago and I took a chance and went on line and booked a hair cut with Olivia. Best hair cut ever I have received 3 hair cuts so far. Very professional and friendly atmosphere. Thanks for the great service in these challenging times

Ive always been nervous about haircuts since I was little, but Travis was really easy to talk too and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Love the haircut and he put up with all my stupid questions.

Its a nice place with a helpful and competent atmosphere. I was happy really with the work but dont bother with a shave during COVID because they cant get under the mask - which is required.

Beautiful shop. Paige did a great job on my cut and Michael cut my daughters hair exactly as she wanted. Actually was seen earlier than our appointment. Scheduling was a breeze on the website. We definitely will be going every 5 weeks!

I like that there is different things you can choose from than just a hair cut. The people seem nice. Its clean & organized. Started going here more often. They listen. They also have a cool punch card.

Its probably the only ok place to get a haircut in winchester, its been a long struggle of finding the proper person there to cut your hair, they truly believe that their Gods gift for hair styling so an appointment is a most, there NOT cheap and not even priced fair there exspansive for this part of the country but then again there clean, efficient and usually the vibe is good

Absolutely the best place in Winchester if not in the state. Every single person is truly a professional in the field and they truly take their job to the top. If youre not going here you are making a horrible decision.

Just average experience for me. I showed the lady a picture of how I wanted my hair cut and she didnt seem to really take her time to make it look as good as i had showed. There was no one waiting after me and it was the first thing in the morning when they opened, so I cant really say she was pressed for time or anything. She just didnt put much effort and it shows. Travis, the owner, is a great guy and I really think he has something special here at his barber shop from what I saw with other customers, but i cant say my experience was good.

Completely enjoyed my appointment with Sara. Will be back for another fantastic cut.

I felt like I was rushed throughout the whole appointment... it ended up being buzz cut short because “that was the only thing you could really do to fix it” (I feel it was given for speed). If I’m being honest, I hate it. Make sure if you do go here, you’re very descriptive in your explanation and vision of what you want.Edit: 6/17 I was contacted in regards to my initial review, which I very much appreciate. Props for that because not many companies would react this way. Will update on next interaction

I just moved to the area and was looking for a good barber and I think I found one! I was given a haircut by Jillian and the haircut was excellent; I was even given some advice on how to style it.I would definitely recommend this place. The only downside is that the wait was longer than Im used to, but I can see why its so popular.

Very precise and professional. Lance cut my hair twice and he gave me a perfect fade. That said all of the barbers there are very skilled and everyone walking out looks like they are headed to a GQ photo shoot. If you want a precise cut for that next interview or if you just want to feel like a million bucks go to Eagan & Company. They will take good care of you!

I have been coming here for a long time. Before the massage and beer/wine. I’ve always enjoyed the environment. I’m not picky on the barber either. I allow anyone the chance to cut hair here because I believe they have talent. However, the past couple times I’ve come by I couldn’t get a haircut! Today 5:20pm (not taking anymore people) Last Thursday, 5:10pm (not taking anymore people) if your hours say 6pm. 6pm is 6pm. Do you go to a restaurant, retail store, coffee shop, business office ETC. 45 minutes before they close and get turned away?? No. You get served UNTIL they close. Adjust your hours if your not going to stay open until posted time. It’s annoying driving across town and walking in the door to get turned away repeatedly.

Took my 2 year old for his first haircut and James was patient and let my son see and (safely) touch his clippers, scissors, and combs. There were no tears shed and we all enjoyed being able to be a part of it! They were very busy at the time and we didnt feel rushed-he took his time and made sure it was special with a certificate at the end! My sons hair is so cute and he looks like a little man now! Safe to say we found his barber!

I took my 2 year old son to get his haircut for the first time here at Eagan & Company. I was so nervous about him getting his haircut because he doesnt sit still for long. Lance Mitchell took very good care of him and he was so patient with my son moving around that i just was blow away with how good he was. Well let me start with this place is awesome! Yes its a Barber shop and they take it to the next level. Precise and profection. Best hair cut Ive ever had the experience of getting. I had Armando. Perfection and happy is how i would describe him. I was a walk in. Went straight to the seat with no wait time. Great attitudes all around and good conversation. Very nice atmosphere. I walked out with a perfect hair cut and in a great mood. Perfect way to start the day. And to Top it off the Prices are below average price for the area. I finally found the Barber shop that I will continue with in the future.

Only the best barber shop I have been to. I been there a dozen times and never had a bad cut. All the barbers are highly skilled and professional. Just watch out for the blonde one in the back. Shes a trip.

Jills does a great job for half the price. Apparently you can make an appointment online here....the haircut I get at Jills for 10 bucks they want to charge me 23 here....there’s no way the haircut here is over twice as good...i get a cut every 2 weeks...sorry, but can’t break the bank on overpriced cuts...up north where I am from they don’t even charge that much...

A great Barbershop. Travis and Kim are the 2 that do my hair but everybody cuts very good hair there. Come early or come during the week as they are very busy. But because they do a good job I dont mind waiting

Very disappointed to be leaving a review without 5 stars. I have been coming to this place every two weeks for over a year and have nothing but great experiences. Great barbers and great atmosphere, but today I was told that they are not taking anymore customers for the day, this was before closing time - they need to adjust the hours instead of arbitrarily turning customers away.

I went here yesterday and Lance did a fantastic job. He absolutely knows how to cut hair. My husband also had his hair cut by Lance and loves it. We will definitely be back.

Great place. Great vibe. See Lance, he is an expert at what he does. Advice on weekends, go early! Theres an hour wait by 830a.

Excellent customer service and barbers that far exceed expectations! They are always welcoming and friendly. This shop is definitely a must go to. For $12 you get a fantastic cut, a great experience and you leave feeling and looking great. You will definitely want to return!

This was going to be my barber of choice in the area because they generally do a good job at cutting hair, but the last 3 times Ive showed up there has been a large number of people waiting and only a few barbers. Today I showed up and there were 8 people waiting and only two people cutting hair. I dont have time to wait 30 - 45 minutes to get my hair cut. Unfortunately, Ill be going to a place that is a lot more expensive but at least I can make an appointment and know when I arrive I dont have to wait a long time to get a good hair cut. I might be back but I need to figure out when all the barbers are there so that the wait time is not excessive.

Super nice people and they did me right! Jim did an awesome job, and the rest of the staff was really helpful. For a guy like me who wasnt sure exactly what to do with himself, it was really cool to have people who knew what they were doing give me options, but ultimately, make their own decision. Highly recommend for anyone that needs a tune up!

I have been to Eagans twice. Different barber each time. Both excellent hair cuts. They shave your neck and do a quick shoulder massage. Eclectic decor with lots of beer steins. No waiting either time. Eagans serves beer if you are in the mood. Really good hair cuts.

Found my new beardsmith here. Great company. They have stylists for the ladies and a great atmosphere. Was able to walk in without an appointment and get cut in a timely manner. I will be using them from now on

Based on all the reviews and buzz this place was getting, I had high hopes that I could finally get a decent quality cut in Winchester. Unfortunately, I cant recommend this place based on my experience.It was pretty busy with a brief wait late morning. It seemed like a number of people were waiting for specific barbers (Travis I think and a woman whose name I didnt catch). I said Id take first available. Perhaps that was my mistake.I mentioned I had a cut three weeks ago and just looking to clean it up. I asked for my usual (5/6 buzz on the sides and take an inch or so off the top with scissors). What I got was a 5 on the sides and a 6 clipper cut on the top. Way too short and not a professional look for me at all. I could have buzzed my own head if thats the look I wanted.If you just need a buzz cut, I guess this place is okay. I was hoping for an actual barber.He asked if I wanted my beard cleaned up and I agreed. He took more than half off (way too short) and when I got home I noticed an awkward bald spot near my right lip. I guess it will all grow back.I set high expectations and ended up with the absolute worst hair cut Ive had in my adult life.Atmosphere was nice. Staff seemed friendly. Prices are good.
