Allied Self Storage in Winchester, VA. Was a Very pleasant experience. Very easy to get a storage unit picked out and paid for. Just the right size and a great price. This Company and its Employees will always be my first choice to do business with.

Nice storage facility

I am editing my review from 1 star to 5.I finally got in touch with Brandy and she couldn’t have been more apologetic, helpful, understanding and friendly. Due to staffing issues she hadn’t been able to get back with me. She not only took care of the late fees and extra months of charges, she also tried to prorate my last month of rent and offered a refund which I refused since I did use the unit late into August. Also, she knew exactly who I was and even recalled parts of our conversation from the day we moved into the unit! Thank you, Brandy, for your kindness and best of luck with your staffing issues!!Original review:We have left numerous messages since September to have someone call us back and no one has returned our calls. We have been out of the unit since end of August and now we have almost $300 in payments and late fees because we cant speak to anyone about cancelling as we are out of town. Also, we now have a lien on our unit but we dont even have a unit!!! Will not use this company in the future.

Allied Self Storage was great to work with. We were moving from Huntersville NC to an apartment in the area and needed storage while we looked for a home. I was able to get everything set up while I was in NC. We were able to take the moving truck directly to the storage area with no issues. Easy access to the storage area at all hours. We have now moved to our new home and closing the account was just as easy. Great customer service and would use again if needed.

I have had storage units for years and by far Allied is the best!! Brandi is awesome. Great customer service. I had asked Brandi for a climate controlled unit and she said that they did not have any available but it was just a short time and she call with a unit that was coming available and it was the first one inside the door. I have recommended Allied to everyone that has asked me about self storage. Overall, I just cant say enough good stuff about Allied self storage!!!!

Office staff was very nice, yet professional. They have video surveillance and a small, friendly dog in the office. The unit was dirty, with birds nests in it. When I asked for a different unit, they said no problem, switched me over in a few seconds, but it also needed to be swept out.

Great customer service. Temperature controlled units stay at 72.

I needed a large storage unit on short notice. I called around and found Allied Self Storage. They had a unit available and I was able to electronically sign all docs and set up my gate code so I could access it that day without having to take time from my day to go sign papers. Anytime I had any questions I could send a quick email and get almost a immediate response from friendly staff. Would recommend this business to EVERYONE!

Extremely Helpful! Great Customer Service and a pleasure to do business with! We thought we were only going to store for a few months but here we are almost two years later and still there. They make it a pleasant experience every time we go in to pay our bill!

Brandi, the storage manager, is VERY service-oriented -- always positive, understanding, and as helpful as she can be. On a recent occasion, I returned from a winter trip to find my storage lot blocked by a pile of snow. When I called Brandi about it, she had the pile removed within an hour or two. On another occasion, I had concerns about the actions of a fellow renter(s?), and asked Brandi to post a notice asking customers to discontinue the offending behavior. She did so at the next opportunity. On yet another occasion, I found another unit in the spot I thought was mine. Brandi was at the lot within 2 minutes of my calling her, and helped me get it straightened-out on the spot. Good job, Brandi! I enjoy working with you. (JimJ)

Everything went very smoothly. Storage is easy to access, very clean and air conditioned. We felt our things were very safe.

Great customer service.I have been renting a unit on and off with them for 10 years. They are great.

- When moving over a weekend we discovered we needed some temporary storage asap - yet most places were closed. Allied had an online webpage that let me select and pay for a unit online, and then give me an access gate code immediately so I could start using it immediately. That was a great help during the pressure of moving.- When we had an issue getting in the first time due to a power outage in the area Brandi responded to our after hours call very quickly and gave me a solution that would get us in during the weekend. Great service.- Ive had the privilege of talking with Brandi a few times as weve moved in, then considered a 2nd unit (and then changed our mind) and in all cases Brandi does a great job managing this facility.- Top that with 24/7 access to your stuff (something many other places do not do) and this has been a really helpful resource for us! Thanks Brandi for all the help. We appreciate it.

Clean place and friendly staff!

Everything went very great. Storage is easy to access, they have cameras 24/7 monitoring. Everything is very clean and air conditioned. My things were very safe.And Brandi is awesome!
