We have a 1 year old very high spirited golden doodle that we have been taking to one of Wilson’s upscale groomers. All of a sudden they decided he was to rambunctious to go there so we reluctantly scheduled him an appointment at pet smart. I can not explain how happy I am that we did. Rachel did an amazing job. He looked better than he ever has. I also called 2 times to check on him (I’m sure she thought I was crazy) both times she explained he was doing good. Thank you upscale groomers for turning my sweet boy away so I could find Rachel at Pet smart in Wilson NC.

I recently just changed my review from 5 stars to 3 because I realize they dont have a broad enough selection of vitamins or what I would consider cosmetic with healthcare for pets they also dont have the greatest customer service theres not enough employees that seems to be knowledgeable on whats being sold and for customers who have questions concerning what would fit their pet for whatever it is they have going on. now I am aware they are not doctors but however I wandered around on the floor one visit at least 30 minutes with no one asking me if I needed help with anything they all seem to be in their own little world and I just feel for it to be a pet store there should be more knowledgeable staff or even more willing to walk up and help customers they see walking around an area over for 5 minutes and to see if they need help also I think their first food selection is overpriced Buy $5 and $7 compared to the other stores around them that sell the same food basically in the cold section

The personnel are friendly and helpful. The store is organized well, which makes shopping here easy and efficient. I was able to find everything I needed for my newly adopted 7 month old tiger-striped kitty here. Will definitely shop here for my pets needs!

Came in today to buy some mice for my snake. Ended up buying a new enclosure. Was helped by Bobby when we first came in. He was very nice and attentive. Then another associate helped us. Then Bobby ended up helping us again and even helped us load everything up. He was extremely helpful and Polite. great customer service skills.

Staff is always helpful, can be hard to locate sometimes, but helpful when around. Also they seem very knowledgeable and eager to share their knowledge.

The customer service was great. I wish they had pets other than fish available for purchase.

Wilson NC. ... I booked my appointment online and left a comment in the note section because I knew I wasnt going to drop my pup off. I typed in all caps to leave my yorkie face FULL! Lets just say she looked like a labrador when I picked her up. I and mad as hell!!!

I have received bad customer service. I had called about a female guinea pig since this is the only store that has them. One of the associates said there was one left. So my mom and I drove all the way from Greenville just to find out there wont any left.

The entire place smelt of weed. All of the fish tanks were dirty and unkept. Staff was slow due to obvious reasons. Everything else was fine though. All I needed were frozen mice and they had them.

This Pet Smart in Wilson does a great job grooming my dog, Lucy, and she is very pickey!

Been out of the same refills for months now, had to order them elsewhere even though the device theyre used for is still sold here.

Had a young man named Robert to wait on us had a wonderful experience even though its during the pandemic. I thought a wonderful television and good price. Thank you Best Buy!!! Keep little Robert there, I will be back.

Pet smart, so true! I take my dog for their baths and they love it. I have to take a picture next time we are there. On Tuesday its seniors day get a percentage off the bath. They carry all kinds of items for your pets. It costs nothing to stop in and browse through. Nice to be able to stop in and compare prices.

I usually love going to Petsmart and I love the girls in the grooming department because thats where I take my dogs for convenience. They went today and I went to get them and I saw one line to pay and it was long and then I saw another register open and the cashier asked for the next person in line but no one moved so I did so I could pay and leave. She asked me if the lady in front of me was before me? I wasnt sure if she was testing her intelligence but it was rude because she wouldnt wait on me and embarrassing to send me out of her line. One piece of paper was all I had. I hope she doesnt treat too many people like that and I also understand shes a boss or manager. Not a positive thing.

Great until today when I called to check on my order that was placed yesterday...only to get a jerk on the phone who, after I asked why I didnt get a notification that it was ready, said, I dont know. It might not have gone through.. Very nonchalant and I had to ask him to repeat what he said since he sounded like he had a mouthful of food and couldnt speak clearly.

Had an appointment for my dog to get groomed....was shopping through the store and purchased a new collar for him to wear. Proceeded to go back into the grooming department to ask them to put it on after his grooming. They tell me they cannot groom him due to him having a accident. Cmon now, its a dog, they are liable to have accidents and he wasnt sick. I have been to the Louisville, KY PetSmart location and never had this kind of a problem. I made an appointment the same day with a groomer that knows how to work with dogs. Will never go here again!

This is your typical PetSmart store. They have lots of cute kitties for fostering or adopting. I think somebody was hungry when they named this batch because they are named after Southern food..some have already been adopted but Sweet Tea and Cornbread are still there and waiting for their furrever home. They also have one named Oreo if you would prefer a dessert kitties instead. Go take a look at their cuties!!

Wilson, NC PETSMART is great. Ashley is the best pet groomer ever and the grooming salon is wonderful, especially under her leadership. Our furry babies love her and we always know they’re in loving hands with her!

Would give it Zero if it had one!! This place doesn’t ever have any live animals in stock and when they get animals they don’t check and see if there female or male, just “trust” where it came from is what I was told by a petsmart employee, so I would not recommend this place to ANYONE !!!! They said they were getting a new dealer with there animals because of the issues of people complaining about gettin male pets when it’s suppose to be a female only store. This place is just ridiculous

Love the variety of animals, and supplies. I also enjoy the fact we can bring in our dog!! Id love it if someone will go adopt some of the cats, or the fish! There is also a place where they can do your dogs hair, I believe. Good place!👍👌

I wont dislike because of one person but my nephew was trying to get information about dog food for his new puppy. He saw an employee and asked him a question. Unbeknownst to him the guy was on the way to get something and this man snaps at my nephew that hes getting something for a customer hell send someone out. Later in the trip (The one time he sat him down) the same guy shows up out of no where and to quickly tell my nephew he has to be on a leash or leave. Thats what we were in there for. Getting him things.

Well i was very disappointed. I had got this package of 4filters and it rung up at a penny. Well the lady checking me out said I could not get the pack of filters because they could not sell it for a penny. I told her I wanted the 4pack. She called a man up front and he told me it was not suppose to be on the shelf. I told him I wanted to buy the package. He told me he could not sell it to me. I was very disappointed in my visit. **

We stopped in the other day for some fancy dog food (because our pup is a stubborn dude) and just our luck, they had a sale on it! Plus, there were dogs outside with a local animal shelter to try and get people to adopt them. So that was a plus getting to see them.

Petsmart is always friendly in Wilson. Not all staff is the most experienced in each department. But usually good and accurate knowledge can be found by asking an employee. Would recommend their perks program to save money though.

Alot of their animals cages were empty. They only had one turtle. I wish they had a dog adoption option. They always have cats. Unfortunately myself and my oldest is allergic.

Been taking my dog here for grooming for years and theyve always done a fantastic job. My dog comes out all primped and pretty, and most importantly happy! After having a bad grooming experience at a different groomer, I will only take my dog here from now on. We love it!

When looking for specific food like low fat or low carb no one knew which brand to recommend. Foods are organized by brand but not by need within each brand. More thought needed on this.

Usually I can find what I need for my small dog.

Visit Walmart every week. Their prices are great and there is so much to see. The only drawback is when you need assistance and have it announced over the intercom, you wait and wait and no one comes to help.

Customer service completely non-existent.. Must be nice to walk around store playing on your cell phone and get paid for it. Cashier greeted me and the poor thing was only person working. Go online, unfortunately this is the only pet store I know of in Wilson.
