I started using rid-a-pest almost a year ago. I dont know whats going on, but I have more roaches now then when I moved in. The last visit I had a couple weeks ago seemed to have made the roaches worse. I am under a year contract approching my year mark and I think Im gonna have to hire someone else to get rid of the roaches. I gave 3 stars because they are always prompt. They call and schedule my appointments every month. The roaches seemed to have been going away, but with the last appointment they got worse.

Just hired them this month to treat a mobile home i just bought. The person who came out was punctual and answered all my questions. Hopefully they work and I get rid of all the pests. So far I havent seen any more roaches but im barely moving in. I will update in the next months since I will be having monthly treatments.

Applicator was polite and respectful. We discussed services to be rendered. Additionally we discussed my termite inspection. Services were applied. I was billed for a full service including interior. I understand the need to charge, and keep individuals working and continuing services. I question if discounted fees will be applied when services are back to normal? I have been a client since 2008, while your fees are not out of control, I feel some loyalty needs to come back to the customer.

Hero moment: The gentleman who came to my home was super polite. So polite, in fact, that when he saw me wandering around outside my backyard because I was hearing crying noises coming from under my house, he took the initiative to go into my crawl space--like ALL the way under the house to the very back and search around for the spots where I was hearing the noise. He rescued a small kitten that had been trapped under the house alone and likely saved its life. Even if he hadnt rescued a kitten, just the fact that he was willing to take time out of his task to crawl under my house because I was concerned speaks volumes to the kindness and customer service of your staff. Started using Rid-a-pest after another company made our ant problem worse. Within days of rid a pest coming out for the first time the ants were complete gone. Our Technician James is wonderful. He is polite and always listens to our concerns and addresses the problem areas immediately. He comes like clock work every quarter. if we need something taken care of in between services, I call the office and they are prompt to send the technician out immediately. So glad we found this great company

The technician was professional, and early which was great. The only thing I did not like was the original person that spoke to me about the termite control did not mention the fact that they would have to drill holes in my cement(new patio I just installed). I hope that this doesnt have to happen every time I get termite service.

James and Juan have both been great and were happy to explain to us what they were doing and even shared a few tips about controlling pantry pests. We signed up for the quarterly indoor/outdoor treatments. I was a little hesitant to sign up for a recurring service but its working out fine. Rid-a-pest calls you when its time for another treatment and you go online to pay your bill afterwards, so no surprise charges.

I worked for this company for six months. I have worked with two other local pest control companies in the past. Their training is inadequate and one often learns from ones mistakes, when they bring you in for counseling, or during an open meeting! There is no employee hand-book for employees that spells out rules and expectations, for one has to rely on word of mouth from various employees. The bottom line is sales for this small company, and theyll remind you of it constantly. They have an hourly wage (weekly pay), with commissions/bonuses at mid-month on past sales. Field techs have very little input on schedules or schedule changes. I quit suddenly after I was rudely texted after hours by the manager. Due to this, they decided with hold my previous months earned commission bonus, which I felt as retaliation from management. I called to inquire about this non-payment, and he said it was at their discretion to not pay me. Has high overturn of employees at times. If one likes honesty, good management, good communication, and consistency.......then look elsewhere. Just my humble opinion.
