Joseph did the termite inspection and was able to come up with a plan and suggestions for the moisture issue under the house. No pressure just honest conversation. We will be contacting him for Dry Zone and termite treatment. Eric, is very professional, he too was honest and went to work as soon as services were confirmed. Definitely glad we contacted Orkin.

Renewed vapor barrier in crawlspace. Installed sump pump and dehumidifier in crawlspace. At my request they tied a downspout from the gutter into the sump pump discharge to divert water away from the house. Good crew and cost was more affordable than other companies.

The company provided me unsolicited PREVENTATIVE termite service, which cost me exactly $1570.00. Again, no termite activity had been found or thought to have occurred. The administration was dismissive of my presented concerns of my private property now having noticeably drilled holes that had been patched in my front stairway. The newly assigned service manager did come out to look and try his best to help once I raised the prospect of a BBB inquiry and action. As a once loyal customer, I deserved better. It is my responsibility to provide this review to assist other potential consumers of this office’s service to make an informed choice on selection of service provider(s).

I have noticed less mosquitoes but it doesn’t last the whole month (more like 15 days). That could be because we been having a lot of rain and it’s washing away what is put down.

Chris came to our house for the initial inspection and I was thrilled with my interaction. He was honest, straightforward, and was there to provide information and suggestions, not to sell us something we didnt need. While Chris was more than willing to address our issues, he acknowledged I had already taken significant measures myself to address our mouse issues and that the steps I had taken were basically the same as what Orkin would do. He explained that some of their materials were stronger than what I could use; nevertheless, the end result should eventually be the same. He also recognized that since the mice were finding a way into the attic, there was an Orkin staff person that could also offer suggestions to address entry points. I have plans to contact that individual this week. It is refreshing to have someone who develops sales through their services to acknowledge when a customer is doing most everything right and could continue, if they so choose, without Orkin services. As I age and am no longer able to address such issues on my own, I promise you that the Orkin office out of Wilson will be who I call and hopefully Chris will still be there to assist. Great job Chris!! You and Orkin are winners in my book!! Honest, straightforward service, even if it means you wont gain a customer, is rare this day and time! Thank you for being tops in my book!!!

We live east of Raleigh NC and started noticing an uptick in bugs inside our home recently. I decided to give Orkin a try and called the national number to set up an appointment. A local Orkin technician, Keith Chance, showed up on the same day and took the time to evaluate our home and go over the best course of treatment for the problems we were experiencing. We were impressed with his knowledge and never felt that he was trying to push any unessesary services that we did not actually need. It was a great first experience and am happy that we went with this company.

Orkin has sprayed every month at my house and I’ve never had any problems with termites or bugs in my home.

I had an appointment set for Monday 7/20 for the window of 4-6 pm and they stated they’d call 30 minutes before arriving. No one ever arrived or even called. I wish they had more respect for people’s time. I received a call back today (after leaving a message yesterday evening about the no show) and the lady did apologize and offered to reschedule for today.. but yesterday was my only day off for the next two weeks. I will be looking for a different company for my pest control services.

We had termites swarming in our house and had another company check it out. It was the company that had inspected before we bought our house less than a year ago. They couldn’t find any live termites and recommended putting out baits.I contacted Orkin for a second opinion. The rep found the termites under the house and recommended whole house treatment since it appeared the home have been treated since the early 90s.They arrived on schedule and took care of business in about 3 hours as expected. There was no impact to things going on inside the house. Everything was handled professionally and I feel better knowing our house is protected.

I cannot remember the young lady I spoke with but she was extremely cordial and professional. When I said I would give it some thought and call back I wanted to speak with her to pick up where we left off. Since they have a call center and no guarantee of reconnecting with a particular person, she was able to call me back. I am not a local resident. The service request was for my father. I booked the service and the exterminator was there the next day. Dad was extremely grateful.
