I wish there was less than one Star to give thats what they would get. They lost a 300 pound set of aluminum stocks and the driver showed up and told me he had ten other deliverys not on his truck and when I called the terminal they said this happens all the time. Then a week later with no notice they deliver them because theyfound them and left them sitting outside after dragging them across the concrete. The driver was rude and this company has no morals Im extremely disappointed and definitely would not recommend anyone ship anything with RL

Very bad scheduling, and information sharing. Had to wait 2 days for a scheduled delivery. 1st day was scheduled for 11-4PM. Never showed up and when I called cust. service, they said they would be there around 5-6PM, then that driver brought the product back to warehouse because they he did not know the area well (?!?! GPS may come handy). Next day, it was 2nd stop scheduled, expected before lunch. Had to call 3 times and product was delivered 5:30PM. Long 1st stop that was.

Materials for a Customers project were supposed to be delivered 4/24/21. No phone calls... nothing. Dispatch assured me I was stop 18 and Id have it by 7:30pm. I relayed this information to my customer. Its now Saturday morning, Ive heard nothing, no calls to reschedule, no calls that they werent coming, nothing. As a business owner, this level of of piss poor communication is unacceptable. South Eastern freight did a pickup from the same plant on the same day. I had the delivery a day early and they actually called.My recommendation is, use another company. I now have to put off a big job all weekend and handle a upset client because of their lack of communication.

Two days in a row I took a half day off of work to be home for their 5hr delivery window. Both days they never showed up nor did they call. When I called them no matter who answers the phone is rude every time. Ended up calling the Co. I ordered from and cancelling the order. Now RL gets to take it back to TX from NC as I’m not taking anymore PDO’s to wait on this useless shipper.

Update: They did deliver my order after I posted this review. I only knew they were coming because I called them (a few times before someone answered). To their credit they did reroute the driver because I was not available later in the day. Added a star for actually bringing my stuff.Absolutely the worst delivery experience I have ever had. They called me on a Tuesday to schedule a furniture delivery the next day. No one was going to be home to accept the delivery (we have jobs), so I asked if the following week would work. They said the latest they could do was Saturday (they had to check and then call back to confirm), and they gave me a 9-1 Saturday delivery window. This was not what I wanted but accepted it at their insistence. You can guess that they did not show up - no phone call - while I waited all morning before going into work late. I called the office - no one there on weekends. I called on Monday, they said theyd follow up and call back. They didnt. Now they are not answering their phone in the middle of the morning on a Tuesday.

Called to check about a package customer service was very polite answered all my questions about the drop off at the shop

I had expressed my issues on your forum. As you noted, it was not proper to list publicly. I do appreciate you finally making things right and apologizing for our inconvenience. Due to this I would raise company to 3* and your final driver as a 10*.

Just had a large package delivered. The driver was extremely nice and professional. I regret not getting his name, but he should be commended for his service. The package was perfect. He delivered it right to my garage door. Amazing! Oh and the scheduling agent that called the day prior was fantastic too! My experience was great, and hope others can say the same!

Had to pick up a shipment due to difficult logistics, but understandable, and they were super helpful and my shipment came in with zero problems. Love it!

I drive for a different company. I’m broke down n the shoulder and out of the 5R&L trucks that have gone past me. Not one of your drivers has attempted to move over even when the left lane has been vacant every time. Some of the most discourteous drivers on the road.

Unfortunately nothing but wasted time and wasted money with this carrier period our company spent 1.2 million dollars a year in shipping. Today we were told by our driver that the shipment would be here at 8:00 a.m.. it is now 4:30 p.m. and we are still waiting. so many dollars have been wasted so much time has been wasted because of poor communication from this transportation company. we will never use this company again terrible terrible terrible

Scheduled a delivery 2 days in a row and never got the delivery. had to drive 2 hrs each way to get time sensitive package due to the drivers lack of responsibility. not to mention I wasted 8 hrs of my time waiting. Id love it they docked the drivers pay 8hrs. warehouse staff did great getting me loaded up in a timely manner

Driver was on time but item was damaged. The damage was obviously from poor loading when the truck was loaded. The pallet was placed a third on the pallet beside it which caused my item to tip over and rub the side of the truck for the whole day. The driver couldnt even get the pallet loose and off the truck without my help the way it was positioned. If my item had just been loaded correctly there wouldve been zero damage. These guys obviously dont care and have little training.

Delivering to a place in Raleigh area when this R&L driver skips around all other drivers in line to jump into a dock before he checked in. This is a slimeball move that i have only seen a few times in 20 years driving. The two in the truck then walked around with an attitude because i confronted them about it. This behavior is exactly why we get the treatment we get out here, please hire responsible people R&L, its bad enough out here.

Absolutely awesome, the lady that scheduled the delivery was absolutely awesome. The driver called me ahead of time and did an awesome job with my special requests. I have total confidence in this company. Totally satisfied!

I was supposed to receive my package Friday between the hours of 11-4... had to call twice to get info on my package spoke wit dispatcher he said he gave the the driving my exact location and he should be on the way...well 430 came and no delivery... now today march 4th jus got off the phone with some else who told me the driver explained he tried calling me all day and never got an answer...which was a lie to cover his butt...never got a phone call...but even in tht if didnt make the delivery Friday...why at 1030am is my package in the warehouse and not on the truck if the delivery wasnt made last week to go back out first thing Monday...no the driver has to go back to the warehouse to get my package so I can get it today...but had I not called and inquired...I would have been looking again for a package that wasnt coming...BOTTOM LINE UNACCEPTABLE...AND I NEED SUM ACCOUNTABILITY ON THE PART OF R&L but most of all I need my PACKAGE...!!!!!

Horrible customer service. The driver was awefully rude and complained the entire time while delivering the product. Expected me, a small woman, to lift and push the packages myself. And then attempted to leave the packages in the street at my neighbor’s house. If I ever order anything online again, I will never do so if this company will be ones delievering the product.

Not impressed at all with the customer service I just received. The agent was so busy rushing me off the call and not listening to me while blaming the shipper for any issues. I will certainly inform the shipper of my bad experience
