Insurance is one of those things you buy and hope to never use. JANA LAKE STATE FARM was a pleasure working with as they provided the homeowners insurance for multiple properties. What impressed me the most was her prompt responsiveness to my inquiries whether it be by email or phone. The Army had taken me out of the state (and sometime out of the country) so needing to coordinate business across different time zones could have been an obstacle, but Jana and her team always came through for me. I highly recommend!

Jana is a great agent, very helpful. She responds to emails immediately. In addition to operating a very successful insurance agency she works tirelessly to rescue unwanted pets in Wilson County. I am so proud to know her and would never take my business anywhere else!

Are the employees here polite? Yes. Professional? Yes. Are they helpful? NO. 😐 Someone hit my vehicle while I grabbed groceries and left the scene. StateFarm did NOTHING to figure out who that was. They expected me to go through the hassle of contacting the man responsible for my car damages- by getting in contact with the officer who wrote the report (who I never got a hold of). Two years insured by StateFarm was a mistake. StateFarm just wants your money.

I have dealt with Jana Lake State Farm and have always received the best customer care. I was somewhat concerned when Peggy left because she always took good care of us, but I an say she left us in good hands. The staff is ALWAYS kind in assisting me with any potential issues. I recall my father having an issue where his home owners insurance was being credited to the wrong policy as well and we received cancellation notice, but that was immediately taken care. They apologized and we didnt have any further problems after this. I would definitely recommend my friends to this agency.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had. A bunch of liars and thieves from the get go. Whatever you do, do /not/ go to Jana Lake State Farm. So heres a fun back story for ya. We used to live in a previous address a year ago. We are buying a new home, we let them know the change of address and everything is awesome. For 8 months they continue to send the mail to the wrong address, for 8 months I have to keep telling them for them to tell me, oh no problem we fixed it. I decide to sign up for home owners insurance. I talked to 3 different people, all who verified my correct new address. Bad weather is coming up tomorrow and we wanted to make sure we had adequate coverage. We got a letter saying a week ago that our home owners insurance was being cancelled. I call the local office oh its a mistake, we just need to have someone go out to take pictures, we will send you a email when its taken care of, so sorry for the inconvenience. I receive no email, and I call to find out about my policy, not only is it not active for home owners insurance, they are INSURING THE WRONG HOME. Weve been paying for 3 months them telling us every time we call and verify and make a payment that they have the right address, Ive been paying home owners insurance on the wrong address this entire time. Thank god I decided to call, what the hell good would it have done me if a tornado came through my home, I make a claim only to be told that my house has no damage, oh wait because its the WRONG HOUSE. I am going to be going by the office tomorrow (2-24-16), and making sure this is taken care of, and switching agents. Not only will I get this straightened out, but I am immediately going to another insurance company or Agent You are the worst insurance I have ever have. You are nothing but liars and crooks. Is getting the right address so hard? I guess so.

Been with State Farm since around 1980 and til now had been pleased until had tree get blown down onto rental property.Its been five days still no sight of an adjuster doing everything I can on my own to get it repaired so Tennant will have somewhere to live.Time to find another insurance provider.Been told that there is a lot of storm damage in my area.They love to get paid but do not like to pay up!!!!!!!!

I switched our insurance in late September to save some money. We had our insurance with Jana and State Farm for nearly three months when we received notification that our insurance would be cancelled effective one month from the date that we received the letter. The letter claimed that a consumer credit reporting agency showed a claim for a lightning strike at a previous home that we owned and stated that we should contact this reporting agency if there was a problem. Not talk to your agent who never raised any concerns, including the first three weeks that they had our money and we were still with our previous insurance company and could have gone back with them. They wait to send the letter so we receive it on a Saturday before Christmas and then New Years to follow, you have one month to find new insurance. The claim that they mentioned was indeed filed, we closed the claim with no harm (cost) to our previous insurer as the overall cost of the damage did not justify filing the claim. None of this of course matters to State Farm, they pass it off that you need to deal with LexisNexis Consumer Reporting agency and they pass it off as I need to get with the insurance company that reported it. Then that insurance company passes it off as they reported the claim not what the amount which was paid out and that they were faultless. Really?? Now I am left with trying to find another insurance company to cover our house and dealing with our mortgage company demanding that we take care of this situation immediately.So I would warn anybody who is interested in doing the Double Check that instead of saving you money it will end up costing you money, time and aggravation. I find it interesting that when I was having my home owners insurance cancelled by her company during the Christmas holidays that she could not spare a moment to reach out to me to assist me, yet only three months after my insurance was cancelled that she finally decided to post an owner comment and then her own individual post with her customer endorsements.By the way Stacy Creech, I am glad that you believe that I was attempting to disparage Ms. Lake, but if that were true she could pursue legal action, the facts are the facts. And another fact for Mr. Creech, you came out to my house and charged us 400 dollars to do a half-butted job, I didnt go to the effort of posting on your poor job. Fortunately, karma had its way and you and your wifes design business has now gone out of business. By the way I paid someone else 200 dollars to redo your job and they did a wonderful job, I gave them five star both on google and yelp. Maybe you should learn how to use a computer next time, maybe your business might succeed. Also, I dont believe it is a good idea to charge seventy five dollars to come out and quote how much it would cost to replace a toilet, when I ended up paying one hundred dollars to get the job done correctly. Sorry for your luck, but you are loser as is Jana, maybe you need to learn that the old guard no longer rule Wilson.
