I came to this location today for several moving products and supplies. The younger woman, older woman, and young man were both VERY helpful. They even offered to help us take the stuff to the car. They answered all our questions and were very informative. Thanks again.

July 5, 2021, I entered U-Haul (location: 2920 Governor Printz Blvd, Wilmington, DE 19802) expecting to purchase a mattress cover and packing tape. Instead, I experienced: racial statements, embarrassment, sarcasm, taking my request personally; which led to sarcasm and unprofessional service by the cashier (tall, African-American man). My shopping experience was not pleasant at all.As I attempted to make the purchase of the items the cashier tried to take a picture of my card number for payment. I covered my card as asked him; Why the need for the picture?. He stated; “It’s an app option for payment”. Because Id rather use the card reader at the counter for payment. He got offended that I didn’t trust him taking a picture of my card and started making racial statements like: “I look just like you. I have my own card. I don’t need yours. We are the same race, what happened to trust.” I replied: I don’t have use that payment method if I don’t want to. I want to use the card reader.” He made it seem as if the card reader wasn’t an option stating; “Do you have cash? If not, I don’t know how you plan on paying for the items.” The card reader was not broken or mal functioning; two other customers used it before my attempt. I replied; “This is ridiculous, why can’t I just insert my card into the machine and pay that way.”. I got no reply, he just kept looking at his phone and ignoring me. So, I placed the items down and walked out.Why was cash or a picture of my card the only payment options? Go to another truck rental company.

I placed a reservation at this location for 530pm and made it for mobile pick up. When I get there the store location is closed and was not placed as a mobile order so my Uhaul was not available! I had to pick up a sofa and couldn’t and lost out on money because it had to be picked up that day! Very disgusted

Rented a truck last week. Returned it same day. Theyve called me every day since asking me to bring them the truck. Not sure whether its human error or a computer issue, but stop calling and texting me.

Amazing and friendly. They even honored my coupon from U-Haul Corp for $1, donated it to someone in need. Will be a returning customer keep up the good work! 😊🙏

Never using U-Haul again after my experience here. Picked up a truck back in early April to move. Checked the back and everything looked fine just some plastic moving scraps on the floor. Brought it back to my place and started loading. When I move the plastic scraps I end up finding human FECAL matter under it! I call the store and they say there are no trucks in my size or larger to replace it with currently. I call their corporate customer service to see if there is any partial refund I can receive for having to clean human poop out of their truck during a pandemic. The rep says they must submit a request to see. The request is submitted and I get notice days later that I am issued a 15% refund in UHAUL credit?? Why would I ever use UHaul again in the first place if you are only giving 15% back...? I call and complain again. Turns out first rep recorded my complaint wrong saying I described the incident as being outside of the truck. New rep submits a new ticket. Days later I get notice I am refunded the same amount but just back to my account instead of as a credit. Still unpleased, I call a third time to make sure the rep fully understands and records the health issues that could have been caused and overall how disgusting such a situation is from a well known provider. New request is submitted, same amount of compensation is given. 15% is basically a coupon and quite a small amount for them to save on this single instance. If they had refunded more for the inconvenience I would have been more understanding and continued to use their service for the possible hundreds to thousands of dollars I will have to invest in moving in the future. Instead, I will avoid them at all costs from now on and have a story to tell others on why not to use UHaul.

Very easy transaction. I rented a 10 box truck from this location this week and was very satisfied with my service and the vehicle. I highly recommend this place.

Just moved from MN to DE and Uhaul Wilmington helped make it a seamless process. They dropped my Ubox off at my place of residence on time so I could unload it. They were supposed to pick the box up next day, but the driver offered to swing by on the way back and get it. Friendly customer service when I called to make the arrangements too. Will use this service again, and I highly recommend it! Thanks U-Haul!

This was an amazing experience our helper was Ashley and she was beyond amazing

Took off the equipment from my reservation without asking. Didn’t know until I reached the location. With a truck without dolly I lost 2 hours and had to postpone the move.

When I picked up the truck I got a text with a link to record miles and fuel gage. The app spun for several minutes before it errored. I took my own pictures of the odometer and gas gage. I dropped it off after hours later that night and put the key in the key drop. I tried to use the second link they sent me and it also failed. I called the main uhaul office who told me that there was a $20 fee for using the key drop (I told the person I rented from I was going to use the key drop and they never told me of the fee). As a result I decided to go to the office the next morning. They were supposed to open at 7 but nobody showed up until 7:20. When I was let in I learned that they gave me a key to a truck that was different from the one they made the contract for. That guy had no idea of how to fix it. After waiting for someone knowledgeable to come in I was finally able to leave after spending an hour and 15 minutes on a morning at an office I should not have had to go to in the first place. Extremely frustrating.

Got a U-Box for a cross country move. Moving out 2 years ago, it was hell trying to get them to deliver the box to me and for them to pick it up afterwards, even though it should have been straight forward, but I assumed it was a one-off. Moving back now, was told that they lost my box in their warehouse, took them an hour to find it, and then was told I still couldnt have it because the person who could operate the forklift wasnt in (why do you not always have people there who can use it??). To add insult to injury, the person who was authorized to drive it was late that day and my UBox wasnt ready for another hour and a half. Apparently my initial impression was correct. Other UHaul locations I have worked with in my move were fabulous, communicative and on time, its just this one. Do not use this location if at all possible.

Archie was very friendly and helpful. We called ahead and he returned our call to make sure we were accommodated. We filled propane for our RV and had to call about a dozen places before we found this one. Excellent customer service!

Cannot say enough about the staff, amazing! Had a trailer hitch installed, working GREAT! On my way back home to Missouri. Thank you all so much!

I would give zero stars if it was an option. Just received my invoice saying I returned the truck this morning, when I actually returned it last night AND checked it in. When I checked it in, he undercharged me for 10 miles and since I was returning packing material worth the same amount, I just gave it back to him and we agreed we were even. (He couldnt seem to figure out how to do a credit for the packing material even though I had a receipt.) This morning I get an emailed receipt charging me for the extra mileage and no credit for the packing material. So, I tried to help them and they turned around and ripped me off. I DO NOT recommend Uhaul as a company, central calling location was no help either. This is theft, pure and simple.

It had the supplies I needed. The attended was polite and respectful. He loaded my boxes into my car for me.

Wish there was 0 stars!!!Rented us a roach infested u haul to move our house. Once dark they were all over the dashboards in the cab of the truck! When i called someone agreed that it was unacceptable and by the time i got there would have a resolution. The general manager who was incompetant at best told us she inspected the truck and there were no roaches. Every one we had to kill while drivings carcass was in the truck, im not dirty and in 32 years never saw a roach until we rented a truck from here! Bad business and even worse people running the company, do yourself a huge favor and rent anywhere but here

This guys hooked me up big time. They saved me from the complete joke establishment at 400 martin luther king blvd wilmington, where you can make a reservation and get there and just talk to a gas station attendant who has nothing to do with the uhaul trucks. Seriously, thank god for the governer printz blvd guys. Go here, to an actualy U-haul and not parking lot uhaul on mlk blvd.

Customer service wasnt the problem. The problem was the lot. Got a piece of metal in my tire as soon as I pulled into the lot. Then, with plenty of vehicles on the lot, we had no other option at the time and had to take a 17 footer, which we didnt need. Not a great experience.

Very unorganized and Slow moving employees. They dont fully explain the terms of the Agreement! And to top it Off I was OVERCHARGED for My rental!!! Do yourself A favor use a different location or service period!

Two weeks after ordering a hitch I showed up for my installation appointment (scheduled by them) only to be informed that the hitch hadnt been ordered. The manager not only did not offer an apology but told me it was my fault as I had lied about being called about an appointment. The hitch and installation had been paid in full when ordered. Apparently I managed to teleport myself into the office and wrote myself in the schedule. Rude self righteous and obnoxious do not begin to describe these clowns.

Lot over crowded. You have to park at another business n walk to their building. Rather inconvenient.

I made a reservation back in May for July 29. I didnt get notified until the night before my move, and minutes to them closing that they didnt have any trucks available. Absolutely horrible.

Was very chaotic and took me over an hour to rent a van that I had done online . All I had to do was show my license and pick up the keys. They were friendly but very disorganized.

Overcharged me by 100 miles after sending the receipt a day later. Completely unacceptable.
