I am first time home buyer and have been scared to death to purchase a home by myself. I am also a single mother with 3 children.. so I thought renting was the way to go.. Hassle free!! Well you pay for the hassle free life and get nothing in return. I have known Regina for a couple of years and have been friends with her on FB. I read her daily posts and watch her videos. When my daughter, a student at UNCW decided she wanted to move off-campus, we reached out to Regina to explore the option of purchasing a townhouse. I was concerned about signing a lease on an apartment with a roommate and being responsible for the full amount if that roommate did not pay their share. 5 years ago I was being transferred by my company to the Wilmington area. I had seen Reginas ad in NBM stating why pay rent when you can own for less. Regina and her assistant Tiffany took me under there wing and guided me in buying my first home. When all was said and done with there guidance I bought my first home at age 55 and moved in with no money down. I figure I am saving 300 to 500 a month owning versus renting.
