I wish I could give different ratings for each provider. First, I came in today 7/6/21 with my son whose 9 for blood work. Obviously, he’s anxious and scared. The initial provider whose a middle aged lady with brown hair and glasses was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding that this is a pediatric patient. She had him calm, explained every step, and was about to stick him when another provider busted in the room. It was clear this provider was aggravated at the fact she was taking her time with him. She proceeded to try and yank my sons arms from him without asking permission, trying to stick him while he got all worked up again and was screaming now. She repeated this for a solid five minutes over and over . There was zero bedside manner . She did not introduce herself, explain anything, or try a distracting tactic. You do not put your hands on any child without addressing the parent and you certainly do not wrestle and pull his arms from his side over and over making him traumatized. It was disgusting what I witnessed . He was calm, a little anxious, but ready to bite the bullet with the initial and PROFESSIONAL provider. Now my son is again distraught and she had undid all the hard work from the first provider. I couldn’t believe what I had just witnessed and that is definitely NOT exceptional patient care . She made it clear she was mad because they had a waiting room full of other patients waiting to be seen. I wish I had gotten her name, she was a middle aged, dark skinned, curly hair woman . I am appalled at the behavior of this “medical professional” and how she treated a pediatric patient !!!!! Ultimately, the first provider got his blood, which took another 20 minutes to calm him down from that situation. After reading other reviews it sounds like this same lady has had other complaints. I do not know how a company can allow this kind of repeated behavior from the same member of their staff. I would not recommend ever bringing your child to this location due to the risk of having them see this particular person.

I had not been to Lab Corp in several years. Today’s visit was quick and efficient, I liked the Express check in, and staff was courteous. May I suggest, you need to modernize your facility/building.

If I could give them negative 10 stars i would. I received ERRONEOUS PATERNITY RESULTS for my one year old daughter after testing at this site. The results EXCLUDED her biological father from being her father. I contacted labcorp several times. Emailed corporate back on July 6th 2021, making them aware of the incorrect results and pleaded with them to retest the samples submitted...Ive received ZERO response back. This is peoples Lives and credibility being RUINED and we cant even get so much as a email back. I urge people to go test at a lab that has a protocol in place Incase anyone challenges the results. This cooperation does not.

Super busy, super slow, long wait times despite getting a text saying they are ready. Drug screens are 830-11 and 1-4 which is on their window but not online. If it wasn’t for employment drug screen, I’d walk out and never come back.

This has nothing to do with Labcorp providers, this is specifically about one of their drivers driving one of their company cars or something. Riding my tail the entire time while it’s raining and already going like 5+ over and then flashing their brights at me. Doesn’t look good on your employees when you’re employees are allowed to drive like that in a company car

I was a little worried about going because of reading the reviews but I had a great experience and I would have no problem going back

I would not recommend this location if you are using it for pediatric bloodwork. Besides the fact that we waited forever, even with an appointment, and the place needs a much needed cleaning, the phlebotomist that took my daughters’ blood was not friendly or welcoming at all. He never looked any of us in the face, never explained to my daughters what was actually going to happen, never reassured them it would be quick when they were obviously nervous. Just “pump your fist”. I had to explain to them WHY they need to pump their fist. As an adult these things are not a big deal, but when you are dealing with children who have never had their blood drawn before a little kindness can change the entire experience for them.

I show up at 11 am, check in, they call me and say “ we stop doing drug tests at 11” we start back at 1 pm. Although 5 were sitting behind the counter talking about turtles and alligators. These people are complete idiots, run don’t walk away from this place.

I went in for a drug screen and couldnt give the amount of urine needed and the doctor assisting me was cussing up a storm in the room. I have never walked out of a medical office in tears before. These people are terrible and they make you feel worthless

Had a pleasant experience at this establishment. I was in and our in less than 15 minutes and had no issues. Staff was friendly and prompt. No complaints here.

The website for the location I went said they did drug screens up until 4:30. I got there at 4:05, and they said they quit the drug screens at 4:00. As a result, I had to make the 45 minute drive one way drive a second time, and the delay pushed my start date back one week! 😡

I went here earlier today to get a drug test done for a course Im taking and the only reason Im giving it 3 stars is because the bathroom wasnt clean. There was pee all over the toilet seat and in the toilet; so whoever used it before didnt flush. I thought it was pretty gross for being in a medical setting, as someone whose going into the medical field I would think cleanliness and sanitation would be something that should never be overlooked. Anyway I wiped away the drops of urine and sat my butt on the toilet to pee, making sure I flushed. Aside from me wanting to shower again or wipe my butt cheeks with Clorox wipes, I checked in quick and the process was easy with no wait time.

If I can give this place less then 1 star I would. Today my mother and my brother went in to get his blood drawn, which he has been getting done for the past 2 years. My brother is severely disabled and is severely autistic. He kind of got upset while waiting and my mother calmed him, but one of the healthcare workers said that he wont let any techs draw his blood for his lab because of him. My mother got upset because his psychiatrists office doesnt do blood draws so they have to come here. The healthcare worker then brought up how hes mad because his daughter was getting bullied by some kid in her class, which doesnt have to do with anything or my brother. He was super rude and unprofessional, and my mother was in tears because of the frustration. He ended up drawing my brothers blood anyway but I am appalled by the discrimination my brother faced with his disability. As stated before he has been coming here for the past 2 years to get his levels checked and some of the techs were already familiar and friendly with him.

As i walked in the Wilmington office, i noticed the place looked as though it needed a cleaning crew. I was left standing there for a few minutes, ignored by the lone person I could see at a desk. Things only went downhill from there. The next time I am referred there by a doctor, I will ask for any available alternative. In addition, I found them to be more expensive than any other lab service I have used. Just say no!

This place is awesome. I needed blood work done while on vacation - I walked right in, no appointment, no waiting. The ladies were cheerful, kind, and total pros.

Absolutely the worst and rudest people! I’ve never been in ANY place of business so disorganized. If you have any other option DO NOT go here! I’ve complained on this place numerous times! If I could give negative stars I would.

Staff is rude. Ask if I could use the restroom and they asked if I had an appointment. I explained no I was someones ride. The staff said to me rudely no our bathroom is for appointments only and slammed the door in my face. Use to be a nice place, but now I wouldnt recommend any company using them for anything! The whole place is a joke, needs better staff and management! This also the Wilmington, NC location. So if you have to do a drug screen go to somewhere else.

I had an absolutely horrible experience at the Wilmington, NC LabCorp facility today (7/31/17). I was going there for what should have been a routine drug screen (I’ve had countless urine tests before, I know the drill). Trying to expedite the process and make it easier to the staff there, I scheduled an appointment via the online schedule for 4:30 and received my confirmation email. I left work earlier than usual because I wanted to be sure to arrive at the facility on time. I arrive at 4:25, and make my way to the dimly lit and poorly decorated lobby. The window to talk to the staff at the desk was already shut, but there were still individuals in the office area so I patiently waited at the counter until one of them could help me. The lady inquired what I was here for, and I specified a drug screen. She replied that they were done with those for the day. Thinking she was talking about walk-ins, I clarified that I had made an appointment for a drug screen online. She replied that I had to be here before 4:30 for that to be possible. Now, as stated earlier, I had budgeted extra time to arrive early to the appointment to be considerate, so I was taken aback by this statement. I quickly checked my cell-phone, and low and behold the time listed was 4:27. I quickly turned around and looked at the clock in their lobby, and low and behold, the time listed was also 4:27. It is almost as if the time was 4:27! Once again, giving the receptionist the benefit of the doubt, I clarified to her that it was not 4:30 yet and that I was still early to my appointment. She quickly replied (with lots of attitude) that the computer listed 4:30 and that they wouldn’t be able to see me today. Reminder – I made an appointment specifically for this time slot! The fact that the receptionist had the gall to lie to a customer’s face because they were too lazy to do the job that they were being paid for completely shocked me. There were other individuals in the office that also did not offer any assistance to me during this time. I don’t know any computer that runs 3 minutes faster than satellite time (and its own offices lobby clock), so I don’t know if I can offer any benefit of the doubt anymore. By the time I got back to my car, it still wasn’t 4:30! Avoid this place if you can – the staff seem to be indifferent at best and possibly much, much worse.

I have tried calling over and over and over again and can not get anyone to answer the phone, nor am I able to leave a message. Would not go back here again if given the choice.

I came in for a Wellness screening. I arrived a few minutes early to my appointment and was immediately seen. Thr staff was incredibly friendly, courteous and efficient. I was so impressed I am writing this reviee from thr parking lot. Well done!

Only one person drawing blood and one at the front desk. Super inefficient and makes the process take forever.
