I trained with Jim for five years and had the pleasure of earning my Black Belt under his guidance, Jims an amazing teacher, hes adapt at teaching the martial arts to anyone regardless of their age, their background or their abilities. He has an innate ability to understand what each student needs individually in order to absorb the material at hand. Mr. Irwin is an outstanding instructor, teacher, and person. My kids are taking a class there and I LOVE it! I love how my kids are learning REAL techniques to defend themselves as opposed to mechanical moves. Love it!!

My son and I have been training for Mr. Irwin for over a year. We really enjoy his classes and have learned a tremendous amount from him. His classes are fun and exciting. I am really glad he is in Wilmington.
