Dan from Aptive Environmental performed the contracted quarterly service. Dan called early this am to advise that he would shortly arrive. Dan alerted me of his arrival informing me of the service to be performed and asking of any matters needing to be addressed. Dan was extremely courteous, timely, professional, and informative. I would welcome Dan to perform any and all future service if able and available.

Actually, two of their representatives caught me when I was stepping out of my front door to water my plants. Apparently, they rode up my driveway on electric skate boards to advertise their services. I was wary since Ive never heard of the company but the offer seemed too good to pass up ($25 for initial service; $104 every 3 months); however, after they left and I started to read over the contract sent to my email and did some research on the company, I started to get worried.The majority of the reviews were negative, saying they caused more problems than they solved and trying to get out of the contract was near-impossible. Not to mention, the service was awful. I thought, maybe I should give them a chance but when the guy came to apply the product, I saw firsthand what the reviewers warned. I was promised a thorough application of product on my property, including around the upper windows and roof but it seemed like he only did the front of the house - Im not even sure if he did the backyard - and he was gone in less than 10 minutes. There are several ant piles in the front and back yard and they seem to still be live and active when I checked. I called their customer service line and immediately spoke to a person despite the reviews saying it was difficult to reach one, to discuss the contract. She answered all of my questions, which I was grateful for but well see how well it goes if I actually call to cancel service. At the moment, Im not so sure if I want to continue simply based on the fact that I could buy ant/bug powder from the store for less and get rid of them for good instantly w/o having to wait for 3 or 4 treatments (12 months) to know if it worked.

Every representative from Aptive that has serviced our homes has been personable, professional, and has active interest in treating for any pest you need. They go above and beyond, and so does their easily accessible customer service. Thank you Aptive!

Take note of how similar the positive reviews are about this company and you can see the red flags start to arise from there. AVOID THIS COMPANY, and better yet check out the Yelp reviews. Those are an accurate depiction of this unethical organization. Some college student on a Segway came to my home to solicit their eco friendly bug killing service...even told me hed clean the cobwebs off my windowsills. After saying no to their original price of $50, he told me he would offer me a $20 intro fee and that if I did not like the service I could just call and cancel before the next scheduled spray--which was in another month. I read the fine print of the I-Pad contract which stated I had to manually send a letter to their headquarters in order to cancel my service. When I asked him about this he stated that I can just call or email their support line. With supper burning on the stove and my dogs barking like crazy I decided to trust this man for his word and signed the line. About an hour later after everything had settled down I went to my email to read more thoroughly through the contract. I did NOT have until the next service to decide if I liked the service, I had a total of 72hrs--to which I would then be locked into a 12mo contract and would need to pay an additional 200-300 to just cancel. I hadnt even received the service yet and I was trying to cancel. I called the number and was told my account was still in new client phase so they currently didnt have my information. I called immediately the next morning and was told that my account would be cancelled and closed. I asked for an email confirmation and by the end of my work day I had not received one. I then spent another evening trying to get ahold of these people to confirm cancellation. (Since I had a 72hr window) It wasnt until the third day did I finally reach someone who sent me an email confirmation after I had to call him back twice to inform him I didnt get it. Like I stated above, read the Yelp Reviews and dont waste your time like I did when I answered my door.

I had Dolan come to my house to do an inspection inside and outside and he did a thorough and quick job! Aptive tells you everything upfront so there is nothing to be confused about regarding services or payments. Highly recommend

After reading their reviews, it appears that all of the multi-star reviews are by their employees talking about how great of a place it is to work. No wonder they have a 4.4 star rating. The two or three reviews given by customers are all one-star. Wish I had never heard of them.

We have had an absolutely awful experience with Aptive. They were supposed to be treating our yard for fire ants... they have come out 4 times and the fire ant problem has gotten worse... They finally came back today and the guy who came to remedy the situation said that they werent even putting down the fire ant killer. So what the hell have they been doing every time theyve been here?! Best part; we got billed $199 as soon as he left even though they were supposed to be coming here to remedy the situation (again).Now, my husbands been on hold for 30 minutes, hung up on and cant get a response on why...And we cant cancel?!STAY. AWAY.

These guys are a life saver when it came to ridding our house of those aggravating, disgusting house ants after already trying everything else! Not only did they care for the inside of our house but sprayed our entire yard to get rid of the fire ant mounds as well and some spider webs we noticed belonged to black widows in our garage. And even though we had not requested them to deal with wasps bc we hadnt noticed them ourselves... while covering our yard they did notice a few nests and wiped them out for us as well. The person who came on Aptives behalf to our residence was very helpful, very knowledable and able to answer any question I threw at him, as well as very thorough. Its only day 2 after theyve been but I can already see the massive decrease in the ants that were driving us mad. Plus they offer a follow up a couple weeks later and if at anytime we have any concerns theyll come back and redo everything for free. This is also a service that, after youve signed up for if you ever move...the service will follow you. They cover many if not all creepy crawlers or unwanted, uninvited guests beyond just the ones we needed help with also. So far I am very pleased and thankful bc after trying EVERYTHING...their service and products are seemingly thus far the only thing that has worked!

Great place to work! Aptive will teach you everything you need to know about sales and interpersonal skills. It is a great resume builder. I have worked their for 3 years and it has enabled my wife and I to live a lifestyle that we had never been able to live before. We work real hard May-August. I take the next 4 months off and start recruiting and training in January. It allows me to make my own schedule and be my own boss. We have done a lot of traveling as you can earn fantastic trips to great destinations and all with 5 star accommodations. Aptive does it right.
