After seeing Mae and Ryan really elevate the Lll-train fashion show and make it a huge, smooth-running success, i began to investigate their marketing service. We talked briefly about them wanting to represent artists, and when I told them I was working on the mural at Morning Glory coffee house they came and took professional pictures, which later got turned into an artist feature that was published on multiple district pages seen by people who knew nothing about me or what I do.I began talking with Ryan about a dream I had to bring artists and business owners together so we could start creating bridges that would lead to the the painting of murals in Wilmington. There’s so much talent here it’s tragic we aren’t bursting with public art like Richmond and Charlotte. Ryan came with equal enthusiasm and creativity and since that convo with the help of Mae and Ryan we hosted a “mural mixer” at Aluna works on castle, and had an article written about it in encore magazine.As a professional artist I’m rarely flush with capital so paying anyone to do anything is always a hard wrought decision. When I sold a major original painting this winter I decided to bite the bullet and hire them to create my online store and website, maintain it for me and I began subscribing to their artists promotion service. It has been worth so much more than I pay and the benefits continue to trickle down.We are learning together. We are growing together. And they always represent me and sniff out opportunities even when they aren’t on the clock. They are taking care of a necessary part of being a professional for me, something I Definitely dont want to and rarely have time to do.
