We replaced an asphalt driveway with pavers and extensive drainage and related work including rebuilding the curb to channel water away from the driveway. Price was comparable to two other estimates but the owner, Kevin, did the estimate and had more ideas and took more interest. Everything went a little better than we expected. We are completely happy.

I normally do not write reviews but will for someone whose has done multiple jobs for me and their work stands the test of time. I met Kevin Cleaver in 2016 when I needed a drainage job done and Natures Call Landscaping has been one of my favorite businesses to work with ever since. I have used them for multiple drainage solutions and I believe that their work is one of the main reasons why I have a dry basement despite all of the rain we have had in 2020. All of my gutter drains are underground and lead away from my foundation. Two of them required going underneath a sidewalk and brick pathway. Both were installed without damage to either walkway and solved significant flooding of these walkways. The most recent drainage project was absolutely necessary to prevent storm water flowing onto my property from multiple directions from neighboring properties. This has dramatically reduced the amount of cleanup work that I have following strong storms. What I liked most is combining design and function with beautifying the property. I have worked with Kevin to transform over grown, old style landscaping to completely remodel our property. It has been a pleasure to work with each of their crews (landscaping, drainage, grass cutting) and I look forward to working on new projects in the future. They do multiple plantings for me during the course of the year to change the look from season to season and their trimming, mulching and cleanups always look fantastic when completed. I receive a lot of compliments from neighbors thanks to Kevins work. If you have any issues with drainage or just want to update your landscaping, I would highly recommend Natures Call Landscaping. Ive attached examples of some very creative design work. With the exception of a couple of hedge lines and a few holly and maple trees, none of this landscaping existed in 2015. This is all their work.

Nature’s Call solved our driveway drainage problem. Our driveway slopes down toward the yard, resulting in a large puddle forming at the base where it transitions into the grass after a hard rain. The puddle was so large that all four tires of our pickup truck could sit in several inches of water that lasted several days. Each contractor I spoke with had a different idea on how to solve the drainage problem, but I was most impressed by Kevin’s approach. He used a tool to accurately determine the pitch needed to keep the water flowing. He built his strategy from the readings, in other words hard data, not guesswork. Furthermore, Kevin insisted on a very specific type of drainage pipe to carry the runoff away – one that will last and not crumble underground. This was a major concern and I’ve seen firsthand how ordinary PVC pipe can crack and collapse in on itself over time when used in underground drainage applications. Kevin and his team at Nature’s Call were a pleasure to work with every step of the way. I knew my property was in good hands. It’s been more than two years now and Kevin’s solution has worked beautifully. Best of all I no longer have to step into a deep puddle to get into or out of the truck when it rains! I highly recommend Natures Call for drainage solutions.

They installed an 18 ft x 20 ft patio and regraded, sodded and seeded the remaining portions of the property. They also took care as other issues came up. We were very pleased with their work and the property looks fantastic.

Kevin came highly recommended and we now know why. We hired him to redo our lawn and some beds and replace some drainage pipes. He gave us a very fair proposal, and not only did he do everything as promised he did more than was expected. He kept us informed through the entire process and personally checked in with us as the work progressed. The only thing better then Kevin was his employees. They were very courteous, polite and respectful. Their priority was that the work was done right and that we were happy, and it shows in the finished product. They did such a great job in cleaning up that if it weren’t for the new sod, mulch and plants you would never know they were here. Thank you we now have the best-looking lawn on the block.

Natures Call installed a paver patio in our backyard and fixed a couple of drainage issues we were having. We are very happy with the quality of work they did, the materials they used, and the price was reasonable, too! The team was polite and professional. Kevin and his team installed a drain in my backyard that had major issues with pooling. Kevin was very responsive to every request and question I had. His team came out and installed the drain and re-sodded half of my backyard in one day. They followed up the next day to make sure everything was okay. I would recommend using nature’s calling.

In the past few years, I have had several occasions where storm water collected in my back and side yards to the point where it would pour into vents in the crawl space under my addition and run into my unfinished basement. I had Kevin stop by to access the situation and he had several suggestions. They included installing window wells around the vents, grading the soil and constructing a stone drainage area. I moved forward with job and could not be happier. It looks much better that I had visualized and has already been tested with yesterday’s storm. The crew that did the job were very professional and experienced. They paid so much detail to the job that you would have thought they were working on their own property. Natures Call just completed a major renovation of our yard and we are AMAZED author wonderful everything turned out. They removed several old railroad ties and designed a back patio and raised flower bed across the back of our house; redesigned the from entrance and graded and designed a new front planting area, along with beautiful walkways along each side of the house; installed a new privacy fence along the garage side of the house with new vinyl fencing and gates across each front path. They even installed a drip irrigation system to ensure we didnt lose any of the new plants and a from lighting system to enhance the appearance & curb appeal at night. For many years my backyard would turn into a lake anytime it rained. This year I had the funds to finally correct this and contracted Natures Call. Kevin came out and answered all of my questions and gave me several options.His team came out to complete the job as scheduled and did a great job. Kevin is very responsive in answering questions and understanding our needs. His crew were amazing - definitely work horses! They were here on time each day and if weather was questionable, Kevin called to let us know immediately so we werent waiting. A retainer wall was built which leveled our sloped back yard and I am looking forward to planting the area in the spring. Also a drainage pipe installed with river rock on top. We are waiting for a heavy rain to see if the water is going to be directed to the right place. Very happy with this team and would recommend them highly!

I had them do significant water drainage work in our background including drywalls, and a river rock drain. Sod across the entire backyard when done and Kevin stood by his work. Very profession team including the onsite guys who did a great job within the time allotted. Also did some stone work repairing a not so good job done by another vendor. Very well done.

I have been using Natures Call Landscaping for over 5 years. Their work is impeccable ! The landscaping designs are unique and gorgeous. Kevin (the owner) is so great about coming over and discussing his plans and designs, and his crew are always one time, friendly and neat! Nature’s Call Landscaping did an outstanding job of making the perimeter of my house look clean and dignified. Their choice of plants was perfect with the certain curb appeal I was trying to achieve. In particular the design and simplicity which I was looking for has really made the front of my house stand out. They were able to bury and extend to the street the sump pump pvc pipe which otherwise could be seen from the street. Also the sod they planted has made a huge difference in the way the front yard looks. The back yard needed a cinder block path removed which was easily accomplished, and the grass they have planted now makes the back yard look great. The side yard needed dying bushes removed with a new one planted. The perimeter of the house now looks very nice from up the street as well as from the front. In addition, the owner and his employees are professional, knowledgeable, and work hard to meet deadlines.

My wife and I cant say enough about the beautiful work that Natures Call did at our home this past week. Aside from edging and mulching our beds, they also did some new stone work along our plant borders that looks fantastic. But the most incredible work done was removing 30 years of ugly vines and overgrowth and bringing in screened dirt, leveling an area in our back yard and putting in lush, green sod that has already begun to grow. Our landscape looks like Longwood Gardens now! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reputable landscape company. The crew not only protected the property while doing the work, but they cleaned everything up and left it looking sparkling new.

Had 2 + years of drainage difficulty in my back yard. Had NCC Water Conservation District out to evaluate for potential underground stream, they referred me to 2 contractors, one of whom just wanted to bring in a backhoe and start digging to see what well find. The other hadnt a clue what was causing it or how to fix it. Started looking around for someone with drainage experience and Kevin from Natures Call came, explained the process that would drain the area regardless of what the cause was. With all the rain this Spring, took a little longer for them to be able to get out to do the job- which is understandable- and they did it in 3 days. The crew was very good, cleaned up after themselves, and respectful of the area of my lawn they werent working on so as not to damage it. The plantings turned out great and just what I had imagined it would be like.Natures Call is now my go to landscaping company. I recommend them highly!

Natures Call did an excellent job removing large piles of tree debris and scraping our yard down. Price was reasonable and they were done within a day. I would recommend for future use!

Kevin there estimator showed up on time and within 2 minutes of arriving told me they are going to pass on bidding my job as it is not a large enough project for them a job small or large is a job my job was probably only worth a couple of thousand dollars so unless you plan on spending lots of money with them they do not want to be bothered

Do not use these guys. They are not an honest company. Found a rock was kicked up by them from my neighbors yard that shattered my car window and they would not own up to it. I only asked them to cover the deductible too. The car was located in a way that the rock could only have came from my neighbors yard. They tried to make excuses that their lawnmower couldnt have done it when rocks get kicked up all the time by lawnmowers. It definitely didnt come from my 90 year old neighbor.

Unreliable, signed up for ‘weekly service’ and was told the crew will be by every Thursday and Friday yet still waiting on them to cut my lawn from last week... call and no one picks up, left voicemail over the weekend and still no response.The first week they showed up, they opened their truck bed DIRECTLY in front of my neighbor’s driveway. She had to come over and ask me to have them to move it so she could get out of her own driveway. Embarrassing to say the least.

A job well done, each and every time! My lawn has never looked better.
