I wish I could leave more than five stars. These folks deserve it.The TLDR (which they dont even know Im capable of writing, since Im so verbose): I work, on a ship, in *Alaska*. I go to *Delaware* for my audiological needs. Enough said. The Longer, More Informative version:I have been going here for my service for well over five years. I cannot say enough about how important Wilmington Audiology has been towards enabling me to live my life. I am arguably a more demanding audiological case than some, as a merchant mariner whose hobbies include ice hockey and music. Being a sailor, I spend extended periods in far corners of the globe. When Wilmington Audiology cant support me directly, they find the people who can, or even go so far as to get my hearing aids the service and calibration they need and get them back to me, even at long distances.Special mention to my regular audiologist, Lisa, and to Emily (and now Jen) at the desk, who often put up with my frantic calls for air support when Im off in places like New England or the Mediterranean. Lisa is top notch and stops at nothing to figure out precisely which frequencies need exactly which decibel levels to maximize my hearing potential in the variety of demanding environments (shipboard especially) that I regularly inhabit, or running alllll of the tests multiple times so we can get the best picture of just what my hearing is doing and how to rectify it. She doesnt know it yet, but I hereby forbid her to ever retire until I kick the bucket. Emily likewise pulls out all the stops to accommodate my strange and short notice situations, whether it be getting my hearing aids to and from the factory, crashing me onto Lisas schedule on no notice, or getting me little foam pads to protect the microphones on my aids from the salt air and paint dust while I work the ship. So, while Im disbursing the accolades here, I may as well decree that Emilys not allowed to retire, either. No overstatement: these lovely people and their expertise enable me to perform my job and enjoy my arts and therefore play a significant role in my sense of fulfillment with life. But more than that, they instill a comfort and confidence in me which I cannot extol highly enough. I know that, as my world slowly gets quieter and its acoustics blurrier, they have my back and were going to find - or create - the solutions for my ever-changing situation. If I ever write an autobiography detailing my adventures of living and working at sea, they are going onto the Special Thanks page. Every week that I can continue to functionally hear is a gift and I deeply appreciate having other human beings who walk that experience with and for me.

The team was so very kind and incredibly empathetic to my Grandmother’s needs! We worked with Lisa and the staff only briefly before my Grandmother’s passing in December, but the efforts made on her behalf had a tremendous impact on her quality of life. I am so thankful for the experience. Unconditionally recommend this group of professionals. - Paul Beane
