We sent a truck in for a wheel seal replacement and were quoted 400$ to do the job, a Reasonable price so we gave them the go ahead. 6 Hours later they gave us a bill for almost 1200$ because they couldnt get the bearing racers out of the wheel hub. Not once did I receive any communication from them about the possibility of the bill being so outrageously high compared to the estimate.I told them that I wouldnt pay that much and that it was unprofessional and actually illegal to bill me so grossly over the quoted amount without getting my authorization and informing the job would take longer than expected. The owners name was Ken, he got very upset with me and threatened to steal the steering tire off the tractor so I would have to tow it. I told him not to touch the tractor, and he instead removed all the parts he put on the tractor and put old/trashed parts back on. He then welded/cranked down the axle nuts damaging the hub studs, and drained all the gear oil from the front power dividers.Luckily a Volvo dealership was half a mile away, and my driver was able to slowly drive over there. Bergeys Truck Center fixed the damage caused by CMC and replaced a Rotor on our truck for 200$ less than CMC wanted for a small part of the worked needed. Would absolutely recommend Bergeys to anyone looking for good work. Stay away from CMC, they will do the same to you.

Truck broke down. He was there within minutes. After I got the truck back he was willing to let me return the part so I could get a different one. Excellent Service.
