I’m sure they do good work for alterations but they told me to come in after I explained exactly what I wanted. And they ended up not being able to do it.

GREAT COMAPNY! I went in yesterday to get a very complicated dress altered and needed it done by new years. And they did amazing ! Cheap too for such good quality and the people are very friendly and easy to work with. 100% recommended this place!

Just had 2 pair of Eddie Bauer hiking pants converted to shorts. 60/30/10 material blend and they did great work.

Excellent customer service. The gentleman running the store is very customer service friendly. He was willing to stay an extra few minutes to make a last minute alteration that was flawless. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you for getting me to my photo shoot looking top notch!

If I could give them zero stars I would. I had flown all the way from Canada for my best friends wedding and even though we had taken measurements for my dress, it was so tight I couldnt breathe. The gentleman was so rude to me. I came in and explained to them I had an emergency and I needed a dress to be loosened. The guy (all while smacking food with his mouth opened) told me that it was an IMPOSSIBLE FIX. Took it to Kims Alterations down the street and she gladly did it even though she was very busy as well. Avoid New York Stitchers!!!

Wish I could give them negative stars!!! Had my daughters prom dress resized. Paid 90.00 and it was not right! Way to big in the middle when I asked if she could take it in more she said no she would not. I had to buy a lace belt to tie around it and it looked cheap. I am so upset my daughter was self conscious of it the whole time. I hate that they either didn’t understand what I was asking or refused outright. Don’t go here unless you have an easy fix. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE 💩💩💩😡😡😡

I had gotten my wedding dress from New York and couldnt get it altered there as Im not from there but stationed in NC. Took my $8,000 wedding dress here to be taken in and bustled. I asked to keep the scraps of the dress as I needed them for a lingiere set. Dropped off was told it would be ready in a month. Week before the promise date they asked me to come in for fitting. Dress was in peices taken part holes. Said would be ready next week. Called to double check for pickup they said it was ready went in with my MOH. Dress was sitting on desk still being worked on at first they couldnt even find it. Well went this week to pick up and the body shape went from hourglass to square some how got bigger and lace is chopped up and theres holes in it, pouches of material in certain sections and the bustle isnt really bustled. I have a train 3ft long and theres still a train 3ft long with it bustled how they did it. Not pleased. Spent $200 some odd dollars on it and now the dress isnt even able to be worn.
