What a great experience with these guys! Super friendly phone call to set up the appointment. My service tech was Stephen, and he was great. Friendly, informative and thorough! I have never seen a chimney cleaning like this. He was all over our woodstove. The thing looks great, and he left not a speck of dirt anywhere. He also conducted a detailed inspection with flashlights, mirrors and all. Then he filled me in on everything he saw and gave me simple ways to continue to maintain my woodstove. Their price was a little cheaper then others I called in the area(as I usually thing chimney sweeping can be a bit pricey), but the 2 hours he took to completely go through my whole set up made it well worth it.The last thing Stephen said was, Hope to see you in a year! And I can say very happily that this company will and I will definitely be asking for Stephen, and you should too!

Chim Guard performed a Level 2 Scan Inspection on my chimney. I paid $300. I received a one-page letter that read: Scan revealed several cracked flue tiles. That was it. No pictures from the camera they used, no location of the cracks, and no indication if several meant 15, 260, or 500 cracked tiles. I have been calling since November 2020 trying to get a copy of a full report (as required for a level 2 scan). They continue to tell me were so busy. Even when I called in March, they still had the Christmas holiday message on the phone answering machine. I had to call a second company in to perform the same scan so I could get a report. The second company also advised me that a cleaning is usually included in a Level 2 inspection. Chim Guard did not do this. I do not recommend Chim Guard as they do not provide required details or respond to customer requests.

I’ve called to follow up multiple times and emailed just as many but no one ever picks up. They finally showed up for an estimate and looked at my chimney, and we are 2+ weeks now and never received the estimate! I told the inspector I wanted to get on the books for the job and he said to call the office. Good luck speaking to someone.

Patrick and his apprentice came to our house to inspect and clean our two chimneys and wood stove if necessary. We had just moved into the home in the fall, and did not have a professional detailed inspection of the chimney done. Patrick was accommodating in his schedule and efficiently inspected the stove, fireplace, chimneys and caps. He cleaned the main chimney and walked me through the condition of the wood stove and the caps and what lifespan we can expect. I will be using ChimGuard for future inspection, cleaning and maintenance services in our home and recommended him to my dad as well.

Liked the tech they sent out and there would be no stars if it werent for him...he came out to clean my chimney which turned out to not need it so he was honest, then I was charged most of the cleaning price anyway for an inspection that I could have cared less about. I did assume I would be charged to call him out, but to pay $115 out of the original $195 is a pure RIPOFF. I should have had a choice to just pay him to come out like everyone else when no work is needed or accepted and I blame this on a very greedy owner! Would not recommend!

I would not use these guys again, ever. They did work without my authorization and without quoting me a price. Tech who came to the home was professional and polite, but did work without providing a price.

Beyond simply awful. Chim-Gaurd was hired to replace a fire panel in our insert fireplace and to repair the chimney cap. It took four trips to our house to try to complete work, and it end the end was never finished. The work was sloppy and had to be redone multiple times. On the last trip they ended up allowing spray paint splatter to cover the entire floor of our family room while painting the firebox to make the repairs look presentable. And then left without telling us!They have been a nightmare to deal with, really beyond word can describe. I canceled the rest of the work they had not completed and will never allow them in my house again. Do not use them!
