Amstel barbershop, Is a great shop all of the Barbers are very professional, and very personable. They give you the cut that you want not what they think you want, call for a appointment due to the new normal. Like I said all of the barbers are great but I prefer Jenna. If she is not available then Nick is on deck. You will not be disappointed.

Ive been coming to this shop for years, and I am glad I found them when I moved to the area. Great staff who care about the work they do and their clients. I havent been disappointed once, no matter who took care of me. I couldnt offer a higher recommendation if youre looking for a barber shop.

A bit overpriced. Clean and welcoming but staff did not welcome ANY customers that entered. They could improve by welcoming everyone that enters and says we will be with you in a moment. Barber shop smells great and clean but there’s hair everywhere. Even on the toilet seat in the restroom. I really appreciate the air conditioning. Staff seems really personable and actually socialize with their patrons in the chair while they cut their hair.My barber forgot to brush the hair off my forehead and there was tons of hair on the seat I was sitting on that he didn’t clean off so now my shirt is hairy everywhere..Barbers are very meticulous in their haircuts and the haircuts are very detailed.. great job of the faded and tapers .. definitely reminds me of a proper military cut!Please get rid of the flies and all the hair /trash in the waiting area.

Good place to get your haircut

Went to Amstel regularly for haircuts and its always been great. Every barber has done a great job and reasonable prices. I always went in the middle of the day and never had a long wait.

Ive only been going there for a few cuts so far but this is my barber shop. Great people, extremely talented individuals and a professional feel which is what Im looking for. Very relaxed atmosphere which is great as well; Pablo is who I have been seeing if I remember his name right. You wont be disappointed trying Amstel, give these guys a shot!

Five stars since I’ve been comin for two years to see Craig. He always takes his time and makes sure my haircut is perfect before I leave which is something you don’t get from US male. I’ve seen a couple other people who have done a good job here and one guy who left me with razor blade marks for two days, but Craig makes it an all around five star experience.

I take my 5 year old son here every other week and I absolutely love it. Zach is the barber that cuts my sons hair and he does a phenomenal job. They are a nice, clean, family style barber shop and everyone is super nice.

I started off going to the amstel barbershop in Newark years ago. Then started going to the Pike Creek shop shorty after it opened because my favorite barber moved there. Both shops are extremely clean, friendly, and professional; nice atmosphere to come hang out in. All the staff is polite, funny, and good at what they do. BUT my buddy Craig is easily the best barber Ive ever known. Hair cuts arent badly priced either, just under $20 but you defiantly get what you pay for here. 10/10 would (and do) recommend Amstel to friends.

Love this place. My son and I get haircuts here exclusively. They do beard and straight razor work, too. They can get busy, up to about an hour wait (especially Saturday afternoons), but theyre good. If you dont want to wait, plan accordingly.

This is the best barbershop in delaware hands down! im from new york, and visit delaware monthly and i go here for a cut.. go to nick dionisi he has many years of experience and very in informative and listen how u want your hair cut... come here if u want a fresh lookin cut.

Usually I get a great beard trim there however today, the blonde girl that works there gave me the worst beard trim Ive had ever. She doesnt know how to trim a beard or line it up. She took the top of my beard so low I had to go home and cut my beard off and start from scratch. Great barber shop, just dont go to the blonde in the back left, absolutely awful. Edit-giving them 5 stars, went back today and got a great beard trim. Just dont go to the blonde woman.
