Monkey Junction location First.. the massage therapists are wonderful. They do a wonderful job. Besides that, this place is a sham and shady. Do not sign up. I felt pressured to sign up against my better judgement, however I did and now I really regret my decision. You will never get an appointment. I have a long story I could tell but am already over the nonsense and want to move on. The staff in general are nice but the lady I spoke to tonight was snarky and downright pompous. Its ironic that my first visit when I signed up there, there was someone who had multiple complaints about getting appointments. They were arguing with him inferring he and his wife must have forgotten the had had their monthly massages already at another location. I should have followed my gut, but thats my mistake. There are many other wonderful massage businesses in Wilmington, go with them and yourself a lot of aggravation and money. They literally pester you to death to add on services or give you appointments that cost more than the ones you signed up for under your monthly contract.

I love Massage Envy in Monkey Junction. They are professional and polite. Dont wait until youre feeling tense, call a few weeks ahead to book a massage.

The people were all nice but the company has terrible business practices and policies. My hisband got me the membership as a gift and its been a nightmare through covid. Just see a local massage therapist instead of supporting a huge corporation. The one massage therapist i really liked, that was capable of giving a very firm massage, quit and Im sure it was for a better opportunity but trying to reschedule those appointments was terrible. I was in cancellation and had like 2 months to book out all my remaining appointments and lost three with that person quitting. They were booking like 6 weeks out. It just didnt work out for me. Ended up missing appointments and this last one, i just threw the appointment-credit away because they couldnt transfer the half hour to my husband with a $10 transfer fee and with us paying the other 60 minutes ourselves for a 90 minute massage. Its just dumb. Now the 90 minute slot is wasted unless anyone wants to come in at noon today.

Wow, my first facial and I was not disappointed. I was so scared to have one but it was a breeze the moment I walked through the door. Massage envy was very detailed and generous and I want this review to reflect that. I was greeted by everyone who saw me, my appointment was confirmed and I was made aware of the paper work, someone sat down with me to help answer questions and walk me through what was going to happen, they also asked questions about me, what I expect to get out of the facial and what I hope to achieve in the long run (Zach). I wondered to the wall of products and someone was available to show them to me and explain them. When I asked a question, that Eryka didn’t know, she let me know that she didn’t have an answer and someone was there in seconds to answer it. I appreciated her honesty and enjoyed the opportunity to be apart of her learning something new. Brittany was my esthetician and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. She was on time, well presented and polite. The facial process was comfortable, relaxing and could tell she was very experienced. When we were done, she waited for my outside the door and walked me to the front to present the products she used on my face and recommend a routine skin care regiment. I ended up signing up for a membership, as amazing as the facial was- ultimately it was the customer service that convinced me to join. Nicole (the manager) was lovely too. Most importantly; there was no pressure sales. I was made aware of my options but at no point felt pushed to purchase. I hope to be able to spoil myself with the products in the future!Thanks so much 💗💗💗

Ive had hundreds of massages in my life but I have to say Jennifer at Monkey Junction is by far the best. I like very deep tissue for certain areas and she is right on target. Highly recommend her for any level of massage. All around wonderful experience!!!!!!!

Awesome people and wonderful atmosphere

My wife and I became members using their membership plan, them we got a better price because we were getting it as a couple...so we decided cancel the plan (after a year, as you can cancel before that) than I signed the cancellation, than I noticed that every month they was charging me in my credit card, I send an email asking for a refund as we cancelled the plan, the answer I got was you cancelled your membership not your wifes membership, ok, why no one asked if the membership that I asked the cancellation would apply to my wife as well as we did it together and we get a discount because of this?...Im not complain because the money, but you can see how this company operates.....besides that the therapist was good..but it always start late, 10, 15min later from the time we scheduled...the stuff is very friendly and very polite..but I just felt that was important for future clients be aware about it.. I do not recommend this company.

Terrible policy and customer service. All policies are to protect and secure the company and against customers satisfaction. If I pay monthly for massages and want to transfer one because I have 10 pending massages I think it should be our right to do so. We paid for it so why cant we use it with Someone else especially when I make an extra $10 from the transaction of transferring it to somebody when you already make enough money. Also if I cancel my reservation prior to 24 hour notice you will charge me regardless but if you cancel because youre there upest is sick or what not theres no benefit to the customer we just have to reschedule. Avail the terms of policies for this company are against the customers satisfaction. Every time I go in there I feel like a salesman is bombarding me to upgrade or add on something to my already 10 minute short massage.

BEST FACIAL IVE EVER HAD!!........MY FAVORITE!!I canNOT say enough about Irena. She was gentle from the way she massaged my face to the way she spoke. She was caring and full of knowledge and an absolute delight to be around! She gave me tips for how to take care of my face at my age and what steps to take in the future as well. It was my birthday and she made me feel special. She also knew when I wanted to be quiet (during my face massage) and I quickly fell asleep. I was so relaxed when I left her and also felt like Id made a new friend. She was so kind and so good at her job. My face felt refreshed, I felt renewed and rejuvenated. It was amazing. I will DEFINITELY be back again soon!!

My boyfriend and I get a massage about once a month. We recently got a membership and it is hands down the best investment I have made for my health. The staff is wonderful and they cater to all of your needs. I always look forward to my massages and I always leave feeling satisfied.

My first time here yesterday Sept 15th, 2019 which was a Sunday! I was in so much pain from overworking myself cleaning house. They were able to get me in the same day (very unusual) with therapist Robert. He was EXCELLENT! Professional, experienced, superb bedside manners. He listened to my needs and focussed the massage on the areas of the most trouble. When I got up from the table I was dizzy. That always tells me it was a great massage. I highly recommend Robert at Massage Envy 🙂

Had an amazing experience for my First Massage ever. Megan my Massage therapist was so nice, and did an amazing job. She asked me multiple times if i was good and if i needed anything. Highly praised and recommended! My wife and I “are” extremely pleased with Message Envy’s professional staff members. My wife happily reports she has greater flexibility throughout her body. As new Messages Envy’s members, we signed up for seven weekly visits. After the third visit’s powerful shoulder massage, four inches of natural arm reach returned to my left arm along with my neck’s greater range of movement. After many years, there is no more pain and stiffness. GA

I would not recommend ME at Monkey Junction. I had 14 unused sessions, when I booked online for a 90 minute massage, it stated that I owed $143 at the time of service. I called to confirm that I would not be charged, they stated that I would be charged because my “wellness membership” had been cancelled in January. (My card had been stolen, and they had the wrong card on file) I cancelled my appointment, only to be told I would be charged a $71 same day cancellation fee. So, my options were to show up and pay $143 or cancel and pay $71. How exactly do you charge that much for a same day cancellation fee? I don’t have a contract with ME, you cancelled it and deleted my 14 sessions. After paying $910 for un-used sessions...that they had “tried repeatedly” to reach me to update my card. Also, when you “freeze” your membership you pay an additional $60. Nice little scam operation you’re running here, Massage Envy.

I usually go to the ME at Mayfair but they were booked on the day I wanted so I tried Monkey Junction. Very clean and polite staff. The massages are always wonderful.

I fractured my neck many years ago and have had pain and range of motion trouble ever since. One trip here and I have almost full range of motion in my neck. As well as the lower back pain being resolved! The results were so amazing I signed up for a membership.Cant wait for my next visit.

I had Derek my first time to Massage Envy. Ive been to several places in town and the monkey junction Massage Envy is one of the places Id reccomend. They will try to talk you into a membership, which is a decent price if you plan to be a regular. My experience was excellent with the people on the phone, the front desk, and the therapist. Fragrance-free products were available so my skin didnt get irritated. The heated tables (you can adjust the temperature) helped me relax. The therapist listened to what I had to say and was very professional.

My massage was by Angela and it was very relaxing. Wonderful atmosphere and service!

The room was bright and cheery. The atmosphere was very comforting when I came in. Everyone was so professional I would suggest this place to all of my friends.

The staff is professional and friendly - massage therapists/estheticians are attentive and very experienced. The front desk has always been upbeat and helpful! LOVE!

I applied for a job here and was in a group interview. They pushed persuading the clients to sign up for monthly memberships after their massage. Many companies do things like this but THIS one felt especially predatory. We did role playing scenarios where the client would say no and we were urged to find ways to convince them. Needless to say, I’ve never returned.

They spent more time trying to sell me a package. Paid for 1 hour. But only got 50 minutes. They use 10 minutes of time so you can change. 5 minutes in the beginning and 5 at tbe end.

The staff is great over all very professional and courteous of everyones needs

I called and scheduled a massage for my fiancé for a surprise mothers day gift but upon arrival she was told their were no massages scheduled. I called on Tuesday for a Saturday appointment. The lack of organization and customer service disappointed me. If i could do 0 stars, I would.
