I have been using The Transporter for several years. I do not live in NC and my first experience was arranging airport transportation for my senior parents. The staff was great, we arranges everything over the phone, including payment, no problems. I asked that the driver get the bags at the door and on the return trip driver meet them at baggage claim to help with the bags. Since that experience I have used The Transporter many time for my parents and myself. Always on time with great service. They squeezed us in when I need to evacuate my parents during the hurricane. One time I need a last minute ride and although they were not able to transport me the gave me the phone number of other service operators and I was able to find a ride. That is great customer service! You cant go wrong with The Transporter.

If my flight is late and I get back to Wilmington at 2am, 3am or whenever I always know someone will still be there waiting for me to take me home. What a great company with fantastic, professional people. Richard, Mike and Shane are the best. They picked my sister and her family up at the Fayetteville Amtrak station and delivered them safely and conveniently to my home at Carolina Beach. The return trip went equally well. My sister said it was so great to get off the train after 9 hours ( with 2 grandchildren) and have Mike waiting for them. To not have to drive the last 2 hours in unfamiliar territory was priceless. I have use this service for the last five years and find them exceptional. They’re there when they’re supposed to be in there at the airport waiting even if your flight is late. I don’t use them as often since I moved down here permanently, but I still have them on speed dial as I still go back-and-forth. I recommend them highly.

We used this company to transport us from Wilmington to RDU for our honeymoon. While we were away hurricane Florence hit and we were unable to fly back home at our original time. They were really great with keeping in contact with us, and were very accommodating when we were finally able to get a flight back in to NC. The cars are clean, they arrive several minutes early to ensure you have adequate time to reach your destination, and everyone we dealt with was very friendly. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs and transportation service.

We have tried many shuttle services at ILM. We would think that we could rely but often were left hanging out to dry and desperately seeking other transportation to the airport. We found Transporter and have never been disappointed. When Richard says they will be there you can be sure they will be. Use often to and from commercial and general aviation airport. When we arrived last time at Air Wilmington the driver picked us up plane-side. It was great. And the cost is reasonable. Highly recommended.

I live in Wilmington and used The Transporter taxi service today for a ride home from my place of employment. As a female, Im uncomfortable at the thought of using Uber or Lyft by myself, so I was looking for a taxi to take me home. I found that The Transporter had good reviews on Google. After using them, I would definitely agree with the 5 star reviews. I appreciated being able to prearrange a ride (I contacted them on Tuesday to prearrange a ride for today (Friday). Richard did not delay in responding to my initial email to the company about whether getting a ride home from work was possible (since I didnt need an airport or medical services shuttle). I needed an 11am pickup, and Robert was on time and was courteous before hand in sending me a text to let me know he was on his way. He was friendly, and I even learned about a shorter way to get home from my work that I wasnt previously aware of. I appreciate the high level of customer service and would recommend the services of this company. I look forward to using them again as the need arises.

For the past five years, whenever we have needed a ride to or from Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, or Bald Head, if we are not in our own car, we are in one of the NC Transporter vehicles. They have never been a minute late, they use current technology to locate you as soon as you hit the ferry dock or the baggage claim, and they get you where you need to be in a timely, safe, and pleasant manner. We trust NC Transporter to carry our guests and children to and from destinations when we are not able to manage it. Simply, they are the only choice for private transportation in this part of Carolina. Try them once and they will be on your contact list for good. PS-the cars dont smell like smoke. Carolyn, I know you well, and I dont understand why you would diss The Transporter service, because I also know its owner Rich Sirianni very well for a long time, and he is one of the most honorable, hard-working people in Wilmington area, who provides a fine service for us. Whenever we go to the airport we always use The Transporter and are very satisfied. As you know, Carolyn, I am a nonsmoker and I will not set foot anywhere that there has been smoking because I am allergic to tobacco smoke and I do not like the stink smokers leave behind. You must be confused about which service you apparently utilized. Please correct this misimpression because it isnt fair to Rich and Transporter.
