We were traveling through Williamsport on our way to a wedding in western PA when we noticed a strange noise on our 2009 Honda Civic hybrid we stopped by Dave’s and they checked it out immediately and and replaced the brakes in an hour so we were back on the road. The price was standard snd they extended an AAA discount. The best part was the hospitality—especially from the dogs Fred and Flynn.

I took my 2010 Honda Accord in on 6/28/21 for some services, one of which was R&R left rear strut. In working on that, the technician, Jeff, discovered my back seat release to fold them down was broken. By the close of the day they’d figured out a way to get it to work; they had to replace a bushing to repair it. So, the next day 6/29 I received a text from Stephannie around noon-ish, who, as I’ve said in previous reviews is absolutely the best. She is in constant communication with the customers, and one never has to wonder what’s going on with their vehicle. So, I get the text indicating my car is finished and ready for pick-up. And, they came under the original estimate by nearly $200 dollars, and did not charge me for fixing the backseat release. I was elated, needless to say. Moreover, I can’t remember the last time I received this level of care, kindness and professionalism. I am completely loyal to Dave’s Pro Auto, I will not take my car anywhere else. FYI, they do extended warranty work, too. And, have multiple coupons available on their website for services. Also, as I stated in a previous review, they service the expensive import models, too. One can’t go wrong with giving this gem of a business, and their top notch staff a look-see. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you all at Dave’s Pro Auto for truly making my day; several times over. I am extremely grateful.

Their website has a whole page dedicated to shuttle services. Meaning they claim to pick up / drop off vehicles. I called and the lady told me they don’t offer this service. I was disappointed and maybe it should be taken off the website.

My son is a student at Lycoming College. When he was driving home for Easter weekend, the hose on his radiator went. They were able to see him right away and get him back on the road in no time. Very friendly, reasonable rates. Really put this mom at ease. Can’t thank them enough for helping him out.

We were trying to get our fuel filter changed and they wouldnt use customer parts for and I quote, liability reasons, thats another way of saying we dont use your parts because we want to rip you off and charge the hell outta you, this garage is a ripoff dont go here!!!

My older car needed the knock sensor wiring replaced and other garages were turning me away because of the age of my vehicle and the difficulty of the repair, but Dave’s pro auto got me in the next day and had it done before they closed with no issues and my car has great fuel milage again and all the horsepower it was losing. I will now go here for every repair

Outstanding mom and pop mechanic shop. I bought a cheap used truck elsewhere and had Daves go through it. Fixed everything to make it safe and passed all inspections. Steer clear of this place. Used Dave 3 times. I learned that he will always find a major repair thats required. And I own a vehicle thats well known for reliability. If theres a problem with his work he will wash his hands of it. He damaged a tire and wanted to then charge me to repair it! He forgot to put in a headlight, charged me for it and told me he did the other one. No sir, not the case.My parents took their car there with a misfire. He couldnt fix the problem, but had no problem taking their money and not standing behind his work. It was a bad coil pack and hes doing a compression check to find an electrical problem. It was fixed by European Inports in a day.Same issue with a good friend of mine. Misfire. Dave claims its fixed. Charged big money and the car is still broken.Use this place at your own risk!

I would rate my experience a 10 out of 10. I would refer him to friends and family with great confidence.

Setting up the appointment was great. Drop off was easy and convenient. Only needed an oil change and inspection, prices were reasonable. Only issue was pickup. Was told it would be completed at 2:15 or shortly after. Arrived around 2:25 and was told another half hour. Frustrating as I had plans and could have made other arrangements and just picked up later without issue.

After another shop said they couldnt replicate the rough idle problem on my Jeep (I imagine they spent all of 5 minutes trying), I took it to Daves based on all the positive reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they lived up to the praise. They were able to schedule me quickly, were incredibly responsive with sharing information and went the extra mile to confirm that the issue was fixed completely.

I was driving from Western NY to DC when the timing belt on my Subaru went out. It ended up doing a lot of damage to the valves and the engine lost compression in all cylinders. I was at the mercy of Daves to get me back on the road. Since it was a big job, I had to leave my car there for a week. The repairs were not cheap, but they were well within the typical costs of the repair. I needed a new timing belt, my heads had to be machined, most of my valves had to be replaced, and new head gaskets needed to be installed. They used quality new parts and their work is nationally guaranteed. If for some reason my car breaks down due to a faulty repair, Im covered nationally through partner auto shops. This put me at ease.I already put around 5,000 miles on my vehicle since the repair, and I have not had one issue. The folks there were fair and honest which was a huge relief since Im from out of town. Other shops could have taken advantage of my predicament, not Daves. The towing service highly recommended them. Now I highly recommend them.

These guys are the best! I was 500 miles from home when my car broke down. I was able to limp it a mile to their shop. I was in a strange town and miles away from anyone I could call for help. Sherri took my car in as soon as they opened, offered me drinks and doughnuts. Jeff the mechanic found the problem right away. Dave the owner even drove me to the bank so I could get cash to pay for my repair. The cost was very reasonable less than I would have paid in my state of NH. I wish they were closer to me they would be my full-time mechanic! rest assured you are in good hands if you go to Daves.

My car broke down in Williamsort and Im from out of town. The first three shops I called couldnt fit me in, but Daves did. It was a big job and I ended up having to spend the night in Wmsport. Dave himself drove me to a hotel and picked me up the next day. They are friendly and do great work. Forget the chain repair places and put your car in Daves capable hands.

Our family was driving from New York headed to Florida for a family vacation late on a Friday evening, when our Odyssey seemed to begin having transmission trouble. We decided to rent a car at the Williamsport airport and the clerk at the Avis rental center highly recommended Dave since she had used his service for years with complete satisfaction. We left our vehicle at his shop and dropped the keys in the night box with a note explaining the situation and that we would be back in a week. Dave kindly called us back on Monday and said he would take a look at it in the next day or two. He did so and let us know that he could find nothing wrong with our car. We asked him to check again, this time under the same conditions that we experienced the issue (uphill at full speed passing another vehicle with the cruise control engaged). He did so and called us back to report that he still couldnt find anything wrong. We thanked him for his service and he didnt charge us a dime. Upon returning to Williamsport, PA, we found our vehicle safe and sound. We are so grateful for Daves honesty and assistance when we were among strangers. Thank you Dave!
