My new go to mechanic. Ive taken both my vehicles here and the mechanic are great. I recently got an oil change with full service for a couple extra dollars, they topped off my fluid, vacuum, and did a visual inspection. They told me I had two lights out one being my license plate . Very reasonable prices. I also noticed the mechanic greasing my trucks fittings underneath. These guys are great. Definitely recommend this place....

I went and had a oil change and a tire rotation done. After leaving I noticed my one center cap was missing from my truck due to being screwed in too tightly. I called and they said they would cover it. I inspected my other center caps following finding I was missing one and found that another one was broken. The owner paid for the one and shipping which I appreciated but told me he would not pay for the second one due to it being plastic and not “knowing” if it was broken prior. The rims and caps are newer and I know for sure they were not broken prior to arriving to the shop that day.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NEVER AGAIN!!Scheduled an inspection appointment a week ahead to get my car inspected on a Thursday at 4pm. Me knowing an inspection takes about an hour and possibly more if my car needed work, I asked the gentleman on the phone if 4pm would be too late. He said no 4pm is fine. I ended up dropping my car off early around 2pm the day of my inspection. The lady at the front desk just starred at me with a blank stare when I told her I was dropping my car off. She then proceeded to grab a clipboard and said “ok, thank you”. She diverted her attention to the lady standing beside me. I had to interrupt her to ask her if she thinks it would be necessary to take the key to my car that I’ve been trying to hand her. She then realizes it may be important to have my keys in order for them to inspect my car. Knowing my inspection wasn’t scheduled until 4pm I waited until 5:30pm to call and see why I haven’t heard anything. No one answered. I had a friend drive me over there.. to see they were closed with my car locked in the garage! I called and left a message letting them know I am upset that my car is now locked in their garage and I have no car for the night.I receive a call the next day stating they could not inspect my car because they did not have proof of insurance and they “aren’t sure” why I didnt get that message 🤔. So I drop off my proof of inspection and ask how long it should take for me to get my car back. The lady tells me this afternoon. I specifically said “ Will somebody call me when it is ready or if it needs something” she responded “Yes”.12:07pm I call to check and see how much longer. The gentleman on the phone says “oh your car is ready, did anyone give you a total?” As if someone even called to tell me my car was ready. Had I not of called I would have never known.At this point I am beyond fed up and just want my car. I go in and pay for it. Get my keys. Find my car. Open the door…. Everything from my glove compartment is sitting in my passengers seat. With my insurance, registration, and inspection report sitting on top. So they knew that they left all of the things in my glove compartment sitting there.I WILL NEVER GO BACK, AND NEVER RECOMMEND!!!!!!

After being over quoted for a brake/rotor service I took my vehicle to a different shop with a better price only to find out I didn’t need new rotors and when my tires were put back on by Lyco Lube the lug nuts were hardly tightened. The technician from a different shop stated, “it was effortless to take them off.” Called and spoke with Marty to express my concern considering this could of have ended very badly for myself and my children I transport. He lacked empathy and accountability. An apology goes a longgggg way!! I won’t be back, won’t allow my family members to go here, and wouldn’t suggest it for anyone else either.

Charged me $40 to rebead a leaking tire. Problem got 10 times worse afterwards. Took my car to Steve Shannon, they told me the entire inside of my tire was shredded and should have been replaced.

This is the best most fare and honest auto repair shop in all of williamsport Pa. no question about it. They don’t pray on people.

They did an amazing job each time they worked on my car but they have a tendency of fixing things that wernt asked of them to. It happened every single time Ive gone. Legit I go in expecting a normal bill and it comes back almost doubled because they decided they would just do a little extra without asking! But other then that they do an amazing job 😁

I have had an okay experience at Lyco Lube XXpress until this week, but my most recent experience has soured me to this shop forever.When I took my car in for service, they broke my locking lug nut key, did not apologize, blamed it on the last place to touch my tires, charged me for the replacement regular lug nuts (so I could get home), and refused to waive the lug nuts charge.I went back the next day to talk about the disappointing experience of the previous day and give them a chance to redeem me as a customer. Barbie went back to get the owner to see about making things right for me, and maybe reimbursing me for the lug nuts. The owner, Marty, came out and dug his heels in and insisted that hed done nothing wrong. He insisted that it was not his fault that the part had been broken by his employee, that it was not disrespectful to charge me for the replacement lug nuts without any heads up (he claimed I should have known Id be on the hook for this), and he didnt think he should have expressed any regret to me.The best I got from him in terms of a sorry that day was: I apologize if you feel that way. That is not an apology for his actions, that is a dismissal of my feelings & of my speaking up about this treatment.Barbie has always been lovely to deal with and had even expressed concern and regret when I returned to talk about it, but the owners complete lack of concern about making things right with me after his shop broke this part assures I will never be back.

I gave them a one star because zero was not an option. My car was there for an inspection and it failed! I was surprised because the vehicle is well maintained and I didnt notice any problem. The mechanic said the right rear shock needed replaced. I knew it wasnt leaking and I wasnt having any problems nor was the vehicle tilted at all which is common with a bad shock. Another garage confirmed that the shock was good. I called to complain, was put on hold and then oddly was disconnected. I am now waiting to hear back from PA Dept of Transportation. My advise, unless you want to waste $100 on nothing, dont go there.

Most honest mechanic i know, he will not just say you need something if you do not. I read a lot of his reviews on here and i have to disagree with the negative reviews i dont believe them for one minute. He has worked on my vehicle many many times and he is always does a great job and he and his staff are very very respectable. If you have a problem and want results reach out and contact this business they will make it right instead of bashing a local business on here .... highly recommend this business to anyone and everyone

We have used this service for all our cars for years. Service is great, prices are reasonable. My current vehicle has over 218,000 miles on it and runs beautifully, thanks to Marty and his crew.

We’re always greeted and service is fast even with no Appt . I’ve stopped by here at least 3-4 times this month with no Appt . First was for an oil change and fluid refills . Done in no time . Came back a few days later was hearing a noise under my car and to get new wipers I forgot to get days prior . The owner test drove my car and told me it was the heat shield acting up he put it back up and only charged me for the wipers . Awesome . So then a few days past and the noise is back I take it back and he takes the shield off and says I should be fine and again doesn’t charge me . I even try to tip or pay for his lunch as I felt like a nuisance at this point and he declined .. so then I started hearing another noise a few days later and he said it was foil scraping that was underneath the heat shield . He pulled it down and my car has been good ever since . And guess what he still didn’t charge me . This is the only place I will go for service to my vehicle because they are awesome and the customer service is great . Thanks lyco lube !!I’ve taken my past vehicles here as well and never had a problem with service every time .

Ive been going here for oil changes ever since we moved here 20 years ago, except for one other time when I went to one of the national chain stores, and except for back when I was doing my own oil changes. Marty is a real pro. The inside and outside of the place always looks nice and you can count on your car being done right. Also, I like supporting our local business people, the ones who struggle to make things work and keep their businesses afloat. Keep up the good work, folks!

I was in a pinch and needed my emissions and inspection done that day. I had an appointment with another dealer but didnt realize I needed emissions for the area I live in now. I also am a student in upstate NY so I had to travel just to get to PA. The staff were super understanding and actually managed to fit my whole inspection in, in under an hour. They literally saved my month. Huge shout out to this garage!

Marty works on my vehicle every time I need an oil change and inspection I trust his judgement cause I know he would not rip me off off I haul my granddaughter everyday to school and I want my vehicle safe for her to ride in and I know I can trust him to make sure my car is well maintained.

Marty is a great guy! Ive known him for years and he does whatever it takes to make his customers happy. Ive had pretty much every car out there and Lyco Lube has taken care of all of them and theyve always done a great job.

Everyone is friendly. Its fairly priced. Most importantly, theyre honest and dont tell you that you need 1000 things that arent actually wrong with the vehicle. This is always my first stop for any kind of repairs needed while in Williamsport.

We were completely ripped of by this place. We take it in for a timing chain, that supposedly they are really good at. They took all the money we had and the problem still is not fixed. He takes it in for the timing chain then its just one problem after another. The car isnt drivable, then the car is stalling, now he has no clue whats wrong with it. We take it to 2 other mechanics to get an opinion on the job that they did and basically told us that we need to go to a dealership have them charge us and take the bill back to them because they need to be held responsible for what they did. They charged us for things we did not authorize them to do only racking our bill up even higher. Now we have no money and no car to get us to and from our jobs. They screwed us and our family out of $700. The Better Business Bureau is being called and we will be back with the bill, for them to reimburse us for a job they didnt come close to fixing.

Called for a price on an oil change for my 2014 F-150 Platinum. The girl on the phone was courteous but couldnt give me pricing outside of the 5 quart specials they were running. I was on the phone for 15 minutes while she talked to someone else about how much extra the quart would be. My price went from $60 for 5 quarts to $82 for 6 ... For that much I could buy two full oil changes and do them both in my driveway. Was a waste of my time.

Its simply one of those garages you can trust. They are not the cheapest. But they do the job right. And the owner personally test each vehicle before he sends you home with it.

Ive had some pretty big repairs done here. I dropped it off one time, they replaced a part, and when I called to check-up they told me the car wouldnt start. This was pretty aggravating, as it cost me about triple what I was expecting.Still, sometimes things like this do happen. When I started getting more involved with my car (going out with them and looking at it and having them explain things to me) they seemed to genuinely care. I dont think they were screwing me over, but the whole repair just made me feel uneasy.Still one of the best places in Williamsport for car repairs.
