We recently had hardwood and carpet installed by the carpet gallery. They have a nice selection of flooring options, I was able to find a carpet and hardwood that I loved, and they have been very helpful trying to help me find a tile I like. Greg and Kelly in the store are amazing. Both are very helpful, kind, and responsive. The ordering and scheduling processes were both very easy. Measurements were thoroughly done. The hardwood install team was amazing. They were early to show up, did a fantastic job, and cleaned up nicely when done. The carpet installation was less smooth and the reason they didnt get 5 stars. There was an issue with the carpet and the installer was very rude in his initial handling of it. Luckily Greg is awesome and came out and resolved the issue quickly and with great professionalism. The only other issue I had with them was some relatively loud cussing while working upstairs. The overall quality of the carpet and the installation is very good. We love the new floors and are very happy with how it all looks. We would recommend them to our friends.

This is my third time I have bought from Carpet One Flooring. First was to Carpet my son and daughters room. The second, refinishing my bathroom with tile and now, completing the second floor hallway and bathroom. What brings me back: The service, work is completed on schedule, the price and quality of their product, workmanship and they guarantee their work. Your not buying from a box store where you are standing in front of a checkout for questions and service from a third party. Carpet One is second to none in all it offers, no pressure in purchasing, asking questions or deciding days or weeks later. Price is right, craftsmenship is fantastic, work guaranteed. We all work hard for our money, its well spent at Carpet One.

Were building a home in Williamsburg and Carpet Gallery is the preferred flooring and tile company for our builder. Building a new home presents all kinds of challenges, choices, and concerns. However, Greg and Jeff from the Carpet Gallery made the the flooring and tile experience one of the best we had. They helped us sort through our choices, overcome any design challenges, and eased our concerns, and they even did it within our budget. Wed highly recommend them for any flooring or tile needs.

I thought I was choosing a local hard working company. Each and every department dropped the ball on my new kitchen floor purchase and install. The lack of communication and concern for my requests during the process was so disappointing. They received 2 stars for the first encounter of showing up for the estimate and the actual quality of the floor. The estimate was provided 4 days after being promised it (and after 2 calls from me) the update on delivery (it was 3 weeks later than promised) had me calling 3 times since they promised to find out what happened and call me back, but never called me back. The install scheduling was the worst. I had to provide updates to my tenant on timing. Rick actually lied to me on when the installer was scheduled to arrive. I tried to call when the installers didnt show up as promised and he never called me back-ever. The installers finally arrived and left used wood with nails on the lawn of the rental home where 3 small kids play. I will never use this company again. I have 5 homes, with 4 as active rentals. Carpet One demonstrated they clearly dont need my business. I am sharing my experience in case others want better service. Very disappointed. They honestly just did not care. Too bad! I love using local!

My experience: Once the payment was made, I was pretty much on my own. No firm delivery date, no reason for delays, no one available to answer questions. Either they had the day off, or they were at lunch, etc. Dont think Ill return.

I went in looking for tile. I found what I thought would be the right tile, but ask for them to order me a sample. The guy there told me it would be Monday or Tuesday, and they would call me when it came in.Fast forward 3.5 weeks, no call, no sample.I went in to inquire about it, the guy was short, unprofessional and down right rude. I left my sample board and told him I would be getting my tile elsewhere. He replied OK. Ive been busy. Im short handed. Youll pay more somewhere else.Ill pay more to get what I want, if this is their customer service before they get my money, because I may never get my tile after they get my money.

These folks stepped into an urgent situation with a rental unit, gave us a fast estimate, best price, and did a professional job, and left no trace of their hard work except a well laid carpet in three rooms and a stairway.

I dont normally write reviews, but i dont want someone else to have to deal with what i did.This place is incredibly disorganized. I was told after purchasing flooring and tile that i would be contacted after the material arrives to schedule installation. When i asked how long it should take, i was told approx 2 weeks. Well, after 3 weeks i called for an update and the employee told me that they couldnt find my info and to call back later......uh, ok. SO, i called back the next day and no one answered the phone. I drive down to the store and ask for an update and the woman told me she didnt know and called her boss who called me the next day and told me my flooring would be in at the end of that week.INSTALLATION:-The contractors ran out of material twice.-My sliding glass door was shattered, the contractor came and got me and claimed that he had nothing to do with it. Awesome.-They forgot to install the tile in my pantry. When i contacted the store i was told that the job was complete. So i had to wait for someone the following week to show up and finish the job.- The contractors disposed of there trash in my recycling bin. So i had to clean that out and bag it up.- And it appears that one of the contractors cut themselves and bled in my closet bc their was blood left on the base boards and on the floor.
