I recently bought my house with the assistance of Courtney Martinez of Long &Foster. She and The whole team were amazing to work with through the entire process. Because of Covid we worked through FaceTime and I didn’t see my new home in person until the day I closed and because Courtney was so honest and forthright I had a good sense of the space, location and amenities in the area.I recommend Courtney Martinez if you are looking for a competent real estate agent to help you sell or buy.

Lisa Lowery was amazing. She showed us homes from Williamsburg to Hampton. We werent sure where we wanted to end up. She showed us we asked about and some she thought for our want list. We are so very happy with where we ended up. She even went beyond by waiting at the house for the gas company so we could finish the home inspection and complete closing that day. I highly recommend her and Long and Foster.

Linden Bentley with Long & Foster Williamsburg is an incredible realtor to work with, especially as a first-time home buyer! To explain the full experience, I need to go back to when we first moved to Williamsburg. My husband and I moved to Williamsburg from Ohio about a year and a half ago and wanted to move into a rental for the first year until we could get a better idea of the area(s) where we would want to buy. We were in the tough position of trying to find a good rental from afar, and Linden happened to be the realtor who reached out to us about some of our rental inquiries on Zillow. Not only did she reach out to all of the property managers to get our questions answered, but she also walked us around the properties on FaceTime and ultimately helped us negotiate to get the best rental price. She didnt have to be so thorough in her helpfulness during the process, but took us under her wing and made sure we were well taken care of. This is why we decided to reach out to her when we were interested in buying our first home.Fast-forward to this last summer (in the middle of the pandemic), and we decided we were ready to start looking for our first home. After realizing the current inventory was very low, we knew we would have to make a quick decision as were looking at homes. Linden got us prepared by suggesting we write a personalized buyer letter and always keeping us updated on listings we might be interested in. Because we were concerned about the timing of our last months rent and first mortgage payment, she helped us work out a timeline with the property manager at our rental. We had already secured financing when stepping foot in the door at Long & Foster, but Prosperity Home Mortgage next door was able to sit down with us and offer a better rate on the spot. She was also able to suggest companies to use for our home inspection and facilitated a roofer coming out to verify the condition of the roof free of charge. As we began touring listings, Linden was always fast to get us the information we wanted and great at digging into the homes history to help us look critically at any fixer-upper scenarios. After a few weeks of searching, we found the right house in our ideal neighborhood - only to be notified that we were in the middle of a multiple-offer situation. Because we had already prepared the buyer letter with our initial offer (upon Lindens suggestion), the sellers selected our offer. As it turns out, it would have been months before another home came on the market in that particular neighborhood.Working with Long & Foster made the home-buying process seamless and as stress-free as we could have hoped for. Their partnership with Prosperity Home Mortgage and Sage Title makes the process a one stop shop kind of experience, with all the expertise needed to answer your questions and address your concerns under one roof. On closing day, we were able to simply walk in during our set time and walk out with the keys in-hand - no running around from bank to office to office.Linden Bentley was more than a realtor for us - she was our advocate and our friend. We look forward to working with her again in the future!

Carmen Hamner was by far the best realtor that I have ever met, if we didnt already buy our new home from carmen i would do it all again. Carmen was extremely helpful and no matter what, she would accommodate my family and I. Carmen took us step by step through the entire process and made it easy, she went above and beyond to help us find a home. From day one to closing it took around 30 days and in turn we have built a great relationship with a new friend. I would highly recommend carmen as a realtor.

Carol Wills is an AMAZING agent! My wife and I met Carol at an open house in a neighborhood we have had our eye on for our first home. Carol was warm, welcoming and, very understanding that first time homebuyers need a little extra guidance. 6 months after meeting Carol we purchased a home in that very same neighborhood! Communication between agent and client have been top notch, I never felt that we where in the dark at any point in the buying process. To sum it up if you want a good agent just ask for anyone, if you want a great agent ask for Carol!

After interviewing several realtors, we met Tina Straight and knew immediately she was THE ONE! She was the only one who actually offered to help us instead of giving us the “all about me & my company” speech. Her suggestions and honestly were spot on. The house was under contract, for almost full asking price, within four days. Tina is amazing at what she does! She’s truly a remarkable agent and we’re so thankful to have crossed paths with her. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation!! Thank you Tina for everything!!!

Careful when trying to apply for Rental Property. I informed the Agency that my Credit score was slightly below the requirement and everything else would meet the standard, I was told to go ahead and submitt the application and that they could work with score. I had to call them 3 days later to inquire about the status and this is when the managers just said, OH YEAH, THE OWNER SAID NO, they knew this before yhe took the 100.00 dollar application fee!!!! Seems like they make money denying application and keeping the fees??????

We recently purchased a home and worked with Long & Foster. From the moment that we began working with our agent (and the organization) we were treated with respect and well cared for. After researching and shopping several options in the area, and I am thrilled that we hired Lauren Duguay (our Long & Foster Associate Broker) to represent us throughout the process. It was clear to us that Long & Foster sets and delivers an incredibly high standard for the customer experience (down through each and every detail), and we will absolutely be working with them when it comes time to list our current property and purchase another!
