Absolutely horrible people in there. Not the workers, they were fine. Every customer we ran into just seemed like they hated us or something. Im not sure. Everything was on sale. Not good sales, but just okay sales. The aisles are pretty barren. Picked clean like a chicken bone. But the place was great and had all the items we needed. The guy at the register was very friendly. Would recommend.

Not going to lie, but the people here are pretty great. They can always find what you need and sometimes if the associate is talented, they can find stuff you did not even know you needed but you discover that you do. They know how to throw a party and are always helpful. Good selection of items too. They really do seem to have everything.

This party city is closing sorry to say! However I did get a good sale on party favors for the future so if youre nearby you better hurry up and get over there the store is closing everything in the store is 20 to 40% off

This party City location is so unlike the Stamford CT one it blows my mind! Every single time all the employees are extremely helpful, super nice (and not in the fake, retail way), and just really go out of their way every time to deliver great customer service. Thanks for making sometimes stressful shopping more bearable Burg party City people! :)

The store was clean and had an amazing amount of wonderful items. Customer service was lazy. Two females each replied with, I dont know if we have anything with Powerpuff Girls, just look around. A gentleman was very helpful.

Empty and going out of business. The staff there act like their jobs and their customers are unimportant. The quicker this place closes the better.

All but one employee in the entire store seemed miserable about even being there. Then again, the store is going out of business soon. Still, the experience of being turned away by a store representative after asking for a certain costume was a little annoying. I actually found a rep who was willing to help but even she had an attitude about it. Needless to say, I still got my costume. But, I left as quick as I could because the negative energy in that store was unreal.

The Party City manager at Williamsburg is unhelpful and unwilling to work with a customer. I needed a table cover for a BBQ themed party this weekend, and there was a box labeled gingham summer BBQ with the table covers right on top. When we told him that we just needed two of these and they’re right there on the box, the manager, Elton, told us that bc they’ve already started inventoring summer they would not pull it out: “It’s too hard.” Seriously? It’s too hard? Now I have to drive an hour round trip to another Party City to get the table covers all bc this manager couldn’t be bothered with a little extra work. I work in a customer oriented career and going the extra mile, which frankly is stretching it when the covers are right there and it’s *two*, is never “too hard” and always worth it. I’ll be writing corporate Elton.

Terrible. I went to exchange an item but the lady at the register charged me for the second item without the exchange. When I told her I wanted my money back from the first item, she said her mistake couldn’t be undone and I would have to take both items and leave. She would not let me speak to a manager. I called the Newport News Party City to see if I could speak to a manager there and they gave me my money back for the item I tried to exchange with no problems. I will never go to the Williamsburg Party City ever again. The staff there were rude and would not take responsibility of there mistakes.

Generous inventory, helpful staff and is actually fun just to go in and check everything out.

Plenty of items and products for all types of parties (wedding receptions, birthday, engagement, etc...). Their front counter has so many balloons for all ages on the entire wall behind the counter.
