Went here to rent a kayak. Friendly and helpful staff. Rental deals were good. We did a tandem kayak for about 2 hrs or so. First time kayaking. Fun and great arm work out. Easy to maneuver.

Nice boat ride but the haunted tour is not worth $27 per person. It is an hour of ghost stories that you can look up or read on Ripleys believe it or not. The crew were friendly and nice. As you can see in pics we did not get close enough to see or hear or interact with anything spooky or haunted. Most of the ride is pitch black and you cant really see anything.

Short visit for a pontoon ride Ghost tour but fun experience. The brewery has some fantastic brews so do check them out!

Beautiful display of each of the 50 states. Well worth the visit.

Its under construction, but cant wait until its finished. I like renting kayaks here.

Just went kayaking here for the first time, and it was great! Friendly staff and good prices. It was a beautiful place to kayak.. went down to the James River and back in two hours. Definitely recommend if youre a nature lover!

Ive always had a good experience here until today. I called ahead and arrived at 2:31pm, I booked it across town to rent a kayak. A young guy told me they were closed after I arrived. He argued with me that they stopped renting at 2:30pm and I was almost 2 min. too late. He told me they did not have a kayak ready and they had to sanitize all the kayaks before I could get one. I explained to the young man I had just called and spoke with someone. Finally he told me I could rent a kayak for one hour but had to bring it back at 3:30pm even though they dont close until 4pm. Obviously these guys were slacking and more concerned with getting out on time than good customer service. This experience was a reflection of unprofessionality and laziness.

It was great but 4 put of 6 of us got stung by jelly fish so if you have little ones be careful and keep a close eye on them

Kayak rentals were very reasonable for the area. The river inlet was calm and peaceful. The kids had a great time.

Launched our boat from there yesterday. Didnt realize that there is a Billyburg Brewery and Tap House on site. When we left about 7:30p, there was a corn hole tournament going on. People were everywhere drinking beer and having fun. Next time well try the Brewery and Tap House.

We had a great time paddleboarding! Weve never been before And it was tough to stand at first, but we got it rather quickly. And the prices cant be beat!

Have used the marina for its launch ramp and the canoe/kayak rental. Staff is friendly and willing to work with you. Prices are reasonable for their location. Great location- lots of fun stuff to see via the water.

EXCELLENT LOCATION, can paddle around Jamestown Island and see Bald Eagles, Osprey, and new perspectives on the first English settlement of the New World :) its a sick deal on the kayaks too, some of my best trips were here ~ also, watch out for the Jamestown Island bridge, a couple boats come in quick, and be on the lookout for Bald Eagles on the east side of Back River and the Thorofare (mostly adults, but some speckled juveniles in the area)
