My technician was the best he was professional and flexible with time. I called and cancelled my service because the representatives talk to you like your a person in the street they cut you off and are very disrespectful. I have been hung up on yelled at and disrespected to many times talking to this company. If I could’ve only communicated with my technician O would kept this service and it would’ve sent smoothly. Your charged 300 at the first visit which is fine however if your going to pay that kind of money you expect to be treated with respect.

The Orkin team was great! They treated the inside and outside of our home when we found roaches lurking behind our appliances. They were very thorough and took our stress away.

Although prior experiences with Ratt, Inc, our regional Orkin provider, have been flawless, this past experience was problematic in all phases, including customer service contact with their supervisors. There are far too many issues that I want to waste one more second enumerating here. Suffice it to say that Orkin has let me down.The only bright spot was that the gentleman who eventually serviced us, John, was just that…..a gentleman.I’m considering terminating my service with Orkin.

Installation of hi quality insulation along concrete wall cell Plus, sealant and rodent stop and Sterafab the entire basement.The original insulation was of poor quality and turned black due to lack of seal along top of concrete basement walls.The entire process went very well and left clean too....Highly recommend these guys 🙂.

Arrived on time and got a wasp nest over the front door out safely . Did a thorough initial house inspection to assess the bug problems.Would recommend.

I looked locally for an exterminator for mice, but I wasn’t able find someone to come sooner then 2 weeks. Orkin was the only company that could come next day.Mike stopped by and sprayed the downstairs, upstairs, and attic. He left 2 glue traps, 4 bait stations, and 2 snap traps. Really not worth the $260 charge. He then sprayed the outside and cleaned the webs and hornets nests off the house.It’s been 3 months and none of the traps have been triggered and we still have mice.I called the branch and spoke to a manager who directed me to another rep, but that rep said it would cost $800 for him to come out. Even though I spoke to the branch manager who said they wouldnt charge me anything.So far I was contacted by the rep who said someone would stop by, but they never did. I called him back and left a voicemail to set up another site visit since no one showed.No one has contacted me yet or stopped by even though I scheduled someone to make another site visit.I ended up purchasing my own traps for the outside since none were placed outside. Ive caught about 5 mice on my own with outdoor traps and bait stations cleaned out. Im no longer sold on Orkin Mice control.I’ve been trying to login to my account with them using the account number on my invoice, but it says no account existing with that number.I believed that they deleted my account because they were unable to help me and took my money and ran.I found another company called APTIVE. They are better priced and offer the same solutions that you can pick and choose. Someone stopped by last week and offered the same price as Orkin with more services. I asked for only Mice and bug control. It’s much more affordable.Anything is better then Orkin’s solution to walk around the house with a few traps in a grocery bag and spray the inside and outside with stuff I could have purchased myself. Then charge me for it and never help me again. Very unprofessional.

I discovered bats on my property. Old house, it happens. Bat removal is handled by either fly by night operators or Orkin. That’s it.My interactions with the folks at Orkin were fine. Their tech was courteous and timely. My issue is with pricing.I paid 3800 dollars for what amounted to 5 man hours and $100 in parts. I understand the warranty and that they will come out to the home for the next 2 years.My advice is this: do not get the household spray treatment for 300 bucks. It is 10 glue traps (a barbaric device, but also 10 bucks for 10) and 10 mice bait stations and a spray around the perimeter of each floor. You can get this at Lowe’s yourself for 60 bucks total.The bat expulsión involved foam sealant and a one way door (1/4 inch pvc and mesh). 500 went to another year of insurance as they claimed to need it because of the homes age. That’s a staggering price for insurance and would require multiple return trips to have it pay for itself.Try to handle situation yourself and do not invest in the home spraying.

I had called them see if they did anything with fleas and eggs. I couldnt control what my house had. With shampooing and washing my cats .with also a bad back . Stan came to my house one morning and all my cats took off and hid. Lol I didnt have any upstairs. So he went to do the upstairs, while I looked for the last one. To take out in the garage. The last one I could not find at all .he hid very well up in my drop ceiling. So he said he could come back in a couple of hours. So when he finally came out, I called to see when he was gonna be here. . And they had called me and said to reschedule it for the next day. I asked them to call me before he shows up and not to knocked on door . Cause the cats will run and hide again. He did. It went very well. I was very happy and felt sorry for the rescheduling but all worked out. Nicely.

I am very pleased with the pest control service I receive from Orkin. I am especially pleased with Mike the technician who comes every month to service the the pest control boxes for the rodents outside the house. Mike is also very thorough when he comes to check the corners in the house and the ceiling corners. He is respectful of the property and the animals that reside in the house. Also about twice a year I have a call from Joe the district manager who checks to see how everything is going and to monitor upcoming inspections that may or may not be needed. I am very pleased and have no complaints about the service I am receiving from Orkin and its employees.

My Orkin Man is always punctual, maybe even early. He answers all my questions and is very personable. My deck has just been removed and the area is full of mud, leaves and rocks, but he still did the job, maintaining professionalism. When bugs are found, I usually save one so he can identify it and treat accordingly. We have had an influx of bugs after a particularly rainy season and Orkin was called; they responded soon after, and the bugs vanished! The price does continuously increase, which does anger me when I do not get any warning. That part of the deal may be their downfall.

The service technician John Macintyre explained everything he was doing, informed me of the dangers do to having pets. It was an all around good experience and I would highly recommend using this company.

I know they come every month to refresh the the mice traps but I don’t know how effective it is because I never get any feedback as to how successful we are in diminishing the mouse population - I know I haven’t gotten any complaints from my tenants lately so I’m only guessing it’s working.It would be great if we got a feedback reports as to how many we’ve exterminated on a monthly basis.ThanksRick

Orkin was called to tackle a larder beetle infection at my daughters home. She had newborn twins and a toddler. They were aske d to call shortly before arriving so that the babies could be removed prior to the treatment. This did not occur. The man who came did not even know what a larder beetle was.The treatment did not work, and a local manager was contacted. He came with a worker who sprayed again. For the 2nd time, the treatment was ineffective.Efforts by my daughter and son in law to contact the office for a money back guarantee were ignored. The manager has not called him back nor has any refund been given.I would NOT recommend a company that is ineffective and non responsive.

My mom had problem with cockroaches and now there none price is really good I will recommend to anyone.

Dealt with Terminix for a month and 3 visits, before calling Orkin. Orkin solves my problem almost completely in one visit. Can’t say enough about my local (Wilkes-barre) office, they were wonderful including the manager!
