I went in with an afro and long beard, came out with a clean skin fade and trimmed beard! Barbers were awesome and did some amazing work. Great atmosphere also. Cost me 30$ but you pay for great quality!

Had the opportunity to be a part of a great experience at Legends Barber Shop with Deon Jones. I was a walk-in - having left another location unsatisfied - and Deon made me instantly feel welcome and at home. My haircut was great, but the vibe of Legends and the welcome ... Ive found my new barber when Im in Wichita. I give Deon my highest recommendation!

Went there at 5:15pm & they werent open. It says they are open until 6pm. I needed my daughters hair cut for school and wasted my time.

There was friendly service and I felt welcome but my barber cory at first did not have my haircut correct he was gonna let me go away not looking good at all with my hairline very crooked and he pushed my hairline back more than it needs to be. When he gave me the mirror I had to tell him that my hairline needed to be straight and not crooked. I shouldnt have to tell a barber how to do his job. I usually go to legends barber college because its less expensive and they never disappoint me with how they cut my hair and I only need to tell them once how I would like my hair. All in all the service at legends barber shop was really nice I would just not let cory cut my hair again and i wont be going back to that barber shop i only went there because legends barber college was closed.

Affordable and an awesome environment, $25 gets you a cut and neck shave. Finally found a barber I can continually come back to after going through easily 10+. I vaguely described what I wanted as Im not a hairstyle aficionado, and Deon got me fixed up exactly how I wanted it. Go see him, I cant recommend him enough!

My boyfriend loved his cut, and waiting for him was pleasant. The shop plays TV shows throughout the day, so getting a haircut is entertaining. Also, they offer an array of cuts with stylists that really know what theyre doing. Everyone who walked out was satisfied with their haircut, and it was clear the barbers made them feel like a valued customer.

Went and saw Mike. He was phenomenal and price is on point.

These guys were great! They did a phenomenal job on my husbands long hair, and cleaning up his beard! The color of our skin didnt matter, so dont listen to the other reviews! We sat there and watched these guys do AMAZING work on their customers, especially the little kids! Great work on my husband, and I wish you much success in your future! This was my first time going to a barbershop to get my own hair cut, I’m a female. As soon as I walked in I was assisted. There was a chair open and the gentleman told me he could cut my hair. I had no idea what I wanted but my barber was AWESOME and explained different cuts to me. He cut my hair VERY well and I will be going back!

We came here for 1st time Saturday to get my son a cut. Had great service from Deon, best cut my son ever had! Deon took his time and did precision work, I was impressed! We will be back!

They did a good job. They definitely took the time to do it right, definitely professionals. The wait was long because their was only two guys working. Not sure how common that is but I would definitely recommend making an appointment.

Exactly what i wanted

Waste of money and time. Been here 3 times and each time has progressively gotten worse. Will absolutely not be returning for a 4th time, even if the sake of my freakin life depended on it.

This place is so rude. Don’t even acknowledge you when you walk in. Not even a hi or anything. Sat there for about 10 mins and no one even said anything so we just got up and left. Would never recommend a place like this if the barbers can’t even acknowledge you with a simple “hi” or anything.

Took both my boys in to get hair cuts. One guy was really nice and did a great job the other the other guy who had he ripped me off by charging me $15 for my 8 year olds haircut. When I confronted the man about it he claimed thats how much the haircuts are now the other gentleman who cut my other sons hair told me that the haircut was $10. The man not only lied but took money from me completely unprofessional I will never go there again and I will make sure that anybody that I know would never go there again.UPDATE:I would like to add that my son has been taking medicine to get rid of a fungal infection that showed up after my sons hair was cut here. Cant obviously prove it but be very careful.

This place is over priced and over rated. I absolutely hated the experience. I had to take my boys to another hair salon the next day to fix their hair.Never again.

There is no structure to the barbershop. Walk in no sign in sheet, every barber in their own world. Sat for 20 min to find out everyone has appointments and that’s only after you ask. Never in a million years would I go there again if I visited Wichita in the future.

Walked in and the one barber working (he had a customer in his chair) asked if I had an appointment, I didnt. He told me they could work me in, so I sat down to wait. Another barber came out from the back and adjusted a chair with a screwdriver, then ignored me, the only customer waiting. A young man walked in a few minutes later and the second barber asked him if he needed a haircut, then had him sit in his chair. He completely ignored me sitting five feet from him. I decided he didnt want my money, so I walked out.

My sons went to the back to school free haircuts and they loved their haircuts

The barber is very good at cutting hair only thing I did not like it was when I got there and I had to schedule appointment he made me wait while he went to his car to smoke.....

GREAT BARBERSHOP YO VISIT IN WICHITA

I tried taking my boys here about 12yrs ago. The barber talked on the phone the entire time he was cutting the boys hair, it took him 2.5hrs to do a simple bald fade. We decided to try the location on Meridian in Feb of 2013. The owner cut 1 of my boys hair & another barber cut the other. The owner (Dominic) did a fine job, the other gentleman, well lets just say the owner had to fix his screw up. a few appointments later, the owner set an appointment @ 10:30 am. we waited an 1.5hrs & he never showed up. Needless to say they will not get another chance.We now go to Ds Southside Barber- he is the best.

5 star service will be stopping by next time I go thru Wichita
