Water aerobics with friends. 1st time back in the water in a year. It was WONDERFUL and much needed.
Do they have that chemical in the water where you can see if someone pees in the pool?
They continued to charge my card during the two months they were closed due to covid, couldnt contact the branch manager to cancel over the phone. When they finally did reopen they claimed the only way to cancel was in person and after I canceled they still charged me one additional month afterwards because I didnt give a notification the prior month when they were closed.
Love the building and location but weight room is way too small and out of date
I was in Wichita Falls for work and got a membership to swim at the pool. The staff was always very accommodating, and extremely nice. The facilities were always clean too. Id definitely recommend it.
Great staff ! Just the right size with basic equipment.
I would never recommend these facility. Either Bartley or Dowtown. Back in July, my daughter (9 months) and I were doing swimming lessons together. Per the staff’s direct approval, my daughter and I were showering together in the women’s shower. While there, I was verbally attacked by another member. This continued while I was showering, changing my daughter, and changing myself. At the beginning and towards the end, I went upstairs and informed staff of what was happening. They NEVER did anything. This woman was berating me because I was showering with my daughter. Yes, you just read that right. She stated that my daughter could not be in the women’s restroom even though I had received permission from the staff and that staff had informed the lady personally that I could be there. When I was gathering my belongings, I heard the woman speaking to another. They were discussing how they would be calling CPS and CPS would be taking my child away because of what I was doing. Again, the staff did absolutely nothing. It was at this time that my mother-in-law (who was with me) told me that the woman had originally believed I didn’t speak English and how would I tell the staff about what was happening. I left and called the Branch Manager. He told me that “technically I wasn’t supposed to be there and there is a family room. The staff may have just let you because she’s young and they didn’t see anything wrong with it. But we’ll talk to staff and make sure they let others know next time.” I was shocked. First, because I was never informed about the family room while I was there. Second, because all it sounded like was a justification for the woman’s actions. I then spoke to the President. He seemed truly concerned about correcting this issue and stated “he didn’t care about the money, he just wanted me to go back.” This was all a lie. After speaking to my husband and family, I decided I needed a break from the location. I requested a refund for the swimming lessons and for that month (it had just started and I wouldn’t be going). I never heard back. I called several times and left messages. I was then informed that the President, Mr. Brown, would be the one to make the decision as to whether I was to get a refund back. Two months later, he is still ignoring me and I have given up. Point is – this facility is great, until you need support. Take it from me, there are many more around Wichita Falls that may be $10 more, but is definitely worth it.
Good facilities, free classes, best staff I’ve experienced out of any gym I’ve been to.
The staff is awesome always helpful.Very clean and they have something for all ages.
Facilities are old and out of date.im not from wf so it was like going back in time going to the Y.but their building an updated one so maybe in 5 years it will be better lol.other than that just started going here no thats my only beef with them and facilities are small
Individuals are not welcomed. Special interest groups and kids get access to the pool almost anytime. It is a waist of money for those wanting to swim certain hours.
Busy the night of the hotter than hell hundred. Maybe think about not packing people in so much.
Y M C A thats what the ladies say!
Downtown location
