Amazing team at this local location. I got my rental from MSP and got to my ABnB about 40 minutes away to notice my vehicle was disgustingly filthy. Brought to this location near closing and they thoroughly cleaned it and fast for me as a team. Big shout out to Robin, Aaron and Joseph for outstanding customer service. They didnt have to do this but didnt hesitate to do so for me since they were out of vehicles to swap.

This location is kind of hidden and seems like a smaller operation. However, what it lacks in size and fanciness is more then made up by the staff and the customer service. They had my rental car ready to go. Drop off was quick as well. Hertz gave me a ride back home and the driver was very nice.

I have been renting vehicles from so many rental companies inside the US and outside the US, hundreds of vehicles in the last few years or so . I have not had one single complaint about me using their cars or there was any sort of issue, until we rented a car from Hertz! The guy at the place stating that he smelled a smoke and there was some ashes by the driver seat! Interesting 🤔 the funny part is none of us is a smoker. So how in the world you try to find a way of ripping us off just like that ? Well they actually did charge a $300 or he said $400 cleaning fees . So technically they can accuse anyone at any time of who knows what just so they can over charge the clients.The worst experience anyone can go through.Bad business

I am so used to enterprise taking a debit card as long as its attached to a real bank like BOA. Well it turns out HertZ does not take any debit cards so I was out of luck and stuck in WBL then I got a ride down to enterprise where within 20 minutes I drove away in a wonderful ford fusion.

Walked in to 3 employees sitting there on the couches, no greeting, extremely rude customer service. Will never use hertz again.

We rented a mini van in Bismarck and the agent found us a better price!! Returning the vehicle was super!! Everyone we dealt with was friendly and extremely helpful!! We will rent from Hertz again if needed!!

This place is an absolute joke. Dont go here! They didnt have the vehicle we wanted and they left us stranded with our 4 month old son and forced us to have to go back to the body shop where we dropped our car off to get fixed. We always pay in cash and they wanted money up front. Major inconvenience but still their policy I get it. I also have the email from State Farm work the luxury vehicle option I chose and they said they put us in the system for a small sized sedan so with my ACTUAL proof of email they screwed up, then they wanted to put us in a Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV. The whole experience was all around horrible.

Came to drop my dad off to pick up his car rental (which was scheduled) and nobody was there and the building was locked up. I was pulling out ready to leave when he called to tell me that. Waste of our time to drive out here to pick up the car he was renting. We have rented with Hertz in the past and have never had an experience like this.

Terrible experience here. I will never ever and I mean ever rent another car through Hertz in White Bear Lake MN. The store front ( size of a walk in closet) absolutely reeks of cigarette smoke. I was told it was the owner who smokes inside his back room/ office. In my opinion this is incredibly unprofessional. The vehicle I rented also smelled like old smoke, especially when the air conditioning was on - which was almost constant as it was 90 degrees out. Upon returning the vehicle, I complained to one of the employees. They came out to the car, got inside and couldnt smell anything after taking 3 big breaths. This employee also advised that they were deathly allergic to cigarette smoke. Sooo...this is why you work in a smoke shack? Not buying it. The fob button to open the trunk of the vehicle didnt work. When I made the reservation online I received an email stating the amount due at time of rental. When I arrived, I was told an extra $200 would be held on my card. Ive rented other vehicles before from different places and never had to hold an additional $200 dollars. I can see holding something...hotels do it...as well as other places. It was just a shock to have that much money tied up. This $200 was 3/4 the price of the rental! This entire experience was so stressful. I jumped through hoop after hoop to rent this stupid car and was super disappointed. In the end, I was given $50.00 off of the total rental due to the smoke smell. I appreciated this. Let me say the staff were helpful and polite throughout the process, but I am still frustrated over this. If you can find anywhere else to go rent a car from, do it. Save yourself some trouble.

The counter salesman set me up perfectly I needed a large SUV to travel to the west coast and they did not disappoint.

Staff was unprofessional, tried to avoid my original booking, and did not try to help and suggest an alternative. Very bad experience I definitely do NOT recommend this branch.
