My internet has never tested higher than 1.7 Mbps (download). Mostly it hovers around 1.5. This might be tolerable if I lived alone but there are two of us here who dont always agree on what to watch.

Terrible internet. I pay for the highest speed internet and can’t even make it through a half hour tv show without losing connection atleast 20 times (and that’s when it’s working). Even worse when I try to watch something live. I haven’t had any internet at all since yesterday, which went over great with my 3 year old. I had them on the phone earlier and they couldn’t tell me anything. Their main concern was me taking a survey to tell them how good and helpful they are. Sorry guy you were of no help and no survey will be done until i have the 2nd rate internet service I have to pay for monthly. I got a better connection off the neighbors WiFi. I yell out daily how much I hate frontier and why do I pay for such garbage. Frontier you need to get it together. Worry about the service you provide and not begging for pats on the back for the horrible service you do provide.Sincerely,Unimpressed

The most terrible internet company in the entire world. You could probably find more reliable internet deep in the Amazonian Rain Forest. There hasnt been a single day in the past year that our internet hasnt gone down. Its unfathomable this company is allowed to operate. I wouldnt wish this internet service on my worse enemy. Im using my cellphone data to write this review because as usual from 1pm to 7pm everyday Frontier is down. Unbelievable!!!

More time than not the service is unbearably slow and unable to handle simple day to day tasks.Edit: Ive had this service for years and its been increasingly frustrating due to recent world events being unable to simply keep in touch with friends and family via a voice or video call or work from home.

This company is the worst! Everone I know that has Frontier has nothing but problems. If I had another choice I would switch in a heartbeat and wave been customers for 30+ years! Sometimes I have no internet, sometimes I have internet and no wifi...most of the time I can reset my modem and fix the issue but its 3, 4, 5 times a day!! I realize this is rural areas but seriously..get with the times!!

If I could give a zero I would. I have waited over a week from my initial installation appointment and have had to reschedule 5 times. The people on the phone are nice enough but they are absolutely no help and I just keep getting the same message that dispatch will try to get someone out as soon as possible. They know there arent many options in the rural areas around here and so they dont seem to care about providing anywhere near decent service. When I called for a 3rd time today I was told that someone had been out at my house and couldnt install service....I have two big dogs and have been in view of my driveway all day and no one has come to my house all day.Edit: after speaking with the representative from frontier, I am no longer hesitant on cancelling my account. What should be one of the highest levels of weve really angered someone is given to the same people who field customer service calls. The knot difference was I spoke to the representative on Facebook messenger instead of over the phone. They gave me the same speech of dispatcher will send someone out as soon as they can and told me that I could not look for compensation for the horrible service until after the installation and services had been paid for (and that was not a guarantee that I would receive anything). I am now expected to wait for another week before someone can come out and I am done. I will be cancelling my account and finding another service provider. Dont bother with frontier if you have other choices. Theres a reason they have a 1.1 star on Google.

Place is terrible. Had an appt two days ago first thing in the morning. Didn’t make it. No calls nothing. Said next day still nothing. Now saying the day after that. Horrible company. Go elsewhere if you can.

My internet has been down for few days now. They tell me someone will be out Monday which is 6 days from when I called. The problem is a downed telephone line. I tried calling their number listed online to report downed lines. It routes me to India, same place I spoke to when I reported the initial problem. I DO NOT WANT TO MESSAGE SOMEONE ON FACEBOOK OR TWITTER! Grow up and use a phone like a real company.Update: technicians were no call/no show Friday. The messaged me that someone would come Monday. Again, no call/no show. Worst customer support EVER. A telecommunications company that wants you to communicate through social media instead of through telecommunication.

I was supposed to have a technician come to my home for the last 2 months. Today is the 6th time I have been waiting. I have been paying for a service that not even available in my area for almost 4 years. My speed is 1 mbps. I have called at least 20 times now. They keep billing me, and put me on hold for hours at a time. I am owed reimbursement for overpayment, no service, billed for services not rendered. I have trouble tickets that have never been assigned to a technician. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I got a bundle pack with dish and frontier. been paying two different payments. should be 1 auto payment of 129.99 but no I ay dish 129.99 then frontier takes 70.. after 3 months frontier stops auto payment charges me late fee of 150 in total.... been on the phone with them both on and off for 5 months atleast 20 times... dish veritys bundle rquest have been sent yet frontier acts clueless and demands I pay late fee to avoid services disconnect/reconnect fee. after many attempts to fix this and being told by frontier the problem is solved and ill get the 278 they owe me credited back to my account and this will show up on my next few bills I get an email today saying my auto payment for april 16 is confirmed and set-up to pay 278.... im done with you frontier fileing a report against you, like that will do anything.. youve been stealing my money clamming youll credit it back and now telling me I owe you 278.38...

We have had issues with our phone and internet for what seems like forever. Our neighbors have the same issues but at differing times. Many days if our service is working correctly, theirs is not. My mothers internet is disconnected any time her phone rings (What is this the 1990s?)The servicemen who come to our home are always wonderful, problems are corrected shortly after they leave. Sadly, they tend to come back not long after.I have spent countless hours on the phone with customer service who makes repeat all the usual steps of resetting the modem even though I have told them that I have already done so... usually multiple times. This experience isnt as awful if you have a good tech but many of them treat you as if you are an idiot.We have even been to the Office of the President with this issue, but I guess when Frontier is your only option, your really arent much of a priority.Response to response below: Thanks you for the response Eva, but the modem settings have been fiddled with multiple times and while the issue corrects itself in the short term it simply reappears again after a little while.It is more likely that Frontier needs to do some serious servicing on the lines in our area which was supposed to happen when they took this area over from Verizon. The same issues happening repeatedly simply isnt acceptable and if the fix were as simple as a modem change we wouldnt need to make these calls so often.

Horrible. The only word that can possibly describe this company. Line has been hanging dangerously close to the road since a thunderstorm 3 months ago. Called twice now to see what it will take to get it put back where it belongs. Tech said her computer showed the issue was resolved. Funny.... It looks like its at the same height as it was 3 months ago... Ill be parting company with Frontier. This is a crock.... Theres no number or option on their automated system to report an emergency but make sure starting new service is or upgrading current service is the first option you hear.

If I could do 0 it would be 0. It is always out. Chat online and on phone just transfers you everywhere. They promise credit for time service is not used and do not follow through. If there is anyone you could possible get get them instead. I am without phone and internet for weeks at a time. They make appointments and do not show. Horrible service.The guy from Facebook and Twitter cant do anything either. They just say contact us and we cant do anything.

Moved a week ago and before I moved I made a appointment to have services switched over that days comes around no show get another appointment For 2 days later no show again get a appointment for the next day which was today no show again have had no internet for over 2 weeks but have a 400 dollar bill! Now I have to wait 4 more days! This is unacceptable! For what I pay yall should should be here asap and also for as long as I have waited I was told I was at the top of the list but then the tech never shows Im so close to switching to a diffrent company!

Placed on hold for over 5 hours tranfered from person to person even from supervisors after they figure out they cant make a sale! We have had terrible service AT BEST!!!!! If it works, its for about 1/2 hour. Then not AT ALL! This is NOT a new problem. We have fought this problem for almost the entire time with this company. TONS of appointments made and almost always NO SHOW-NO CALL!!!!! Now, for the umpteenth time, we have NO internet!!!!! And when I try to call, there is no longer a # to recieve assistance, unless of course you want to sign up for new service!!!!! Buyer beware!!!!!!!!! PLEASE! AT&T, buy us back!!!!! Verizon, anyone!!! I have never ever left a 1 star review or even a negative review. But I am beyond over this. Paying for a service I am not recieving. I might as well cancel the service. Id be getting the same service but wouldnt have to pay for it!!! I pray something happens soon. This is hindering my childrens school work and running up the data use on our cell phone in order to access websites. So Im paying for 2 service. One that I am not even recieving and extra data that I should not need tho be using! I know I must sound awfully ugly with my words. Im just a woman that has finally had all I can take. If you are one of the lucky ones that happen to have an alternative choice to frontier for your internet service, take it!!!!! Even if frontier offers it for $1.00 a month, you would be over paying. Ive had 12 tech appointments including the initial installation and have yet to get one person to show up at my house. This is ridiculous i did however receive a self install kit after being charged for a install. Which did absolutely nothing considering im waiting for the second connect to be installed since june if the speeds were above 3mbps i wouldnt need two services just to run minimal devices. Im going on 3 months with no service but god knows i got a huge bill for 2 installs and services that i havent been able to use. Someone needs to fix this and no waiting another 2 weeks for a service call is not acceptable.

Terrible internet service, even worse customer service. Our internet has been down for a month. Today is the 3rd day the technician hasnt showed to fix internet. Ive spent hours on the phone and online chat trying to get someone to fix internet. Representatives are not local and have no clue what is going on, they simply apologize, leave notes in your file, and promise the technician will show.

Please go somewhere else if you can. I strongly suggest that you use another service provider other than Frontier, and here is an example why: Because of the recent polar vortex we lost service for 3 days. Understandable. It took me many phone calls, and a total of 3 hours on the phone just to get the days I didnt have service refunded. And that was only within 3 days. In order to get to technical support you need to go through customer service to verify your account. Even though my internet was out at the time the customer service representative kept trying to sell me new plans. I asked her three times to please stop trying to sell me products and she was persistent. I told her, enough. Im not buying anything. Why would I buy anyting when my Internet isnt working to begin with? Finally I was transferred to technical support. Only to find (a week later because I recived NO confirmation my plan was EVER upgraded) out that my plan was upgraded without my consent. I called back into customer service and was told that I would not be refunded for the services provided even though I did not consent to upgrade my plan whatsoever. I had to request to have the call pulled to prove to them that I never consented to any upgrades. I was told it was going to be 14 days for review and they still would not refund the charges until they could do so. Meaning, I have to pay for services that I didnt consent to. Now I have to involve the FCC, and possibly get a subpoena for a copy of that conversation. Just because Frontier tried to make a quick buck off my hard-earned money. Also, my service is still not working properly. Dont do it! Find someone else.

I wish there was negative stars to give. On April 8th they set up my service and it didn’t work. They set a ticket for 4/16 and don’t show. On 4/17 (today) I get a text they’ll be there. No one showed so I called and they said they’ll TRY to get there tomorrow (4/18). If my service is not up and running by Friday (4/19) then I’m looking into a lawsuit for lost wages from waiting on them. I wish Comcast reached my area.

Was lied to for 2 years about gettingFast internet. 3 times the tech never even called to say he wasnt coming once I got a call 2 hours after the service was supposed to be done to say they couldnt come. Absolutely horrible had the same router for 4 years very inconsistent. If you look at the other reviews they all have the same problem and frontier apologises and wont fix it

I called Frontier to up grade the modem we have had with Frontier for 7 years and they offered to replace for no charge. Then the a representative from the business office suggested I upgrade the speed for $5.00 more a month. Now, they have called me twice, to bait and switch, to an extra $10.00 a month. So, as if as the customer, I had done something wrong by accepting their offer. Not good.

I have never had a worse customer service experience than I have with Frontier Communications. I have been sold internet TWICE now, only to find out the day of/ less than 24 hours before my install that I cannot recieve it. I had to call at 11:45am when my install was between 8am and 12pm to find this out. Anyone have $12,000 so I can get Comcast? Frontier is the only provider currently.

Worst service and customer service Ive ever experienced in my life. I called on November 26th 2018 to have services installed. I was given a date of December 7th. Took the day of work and no one ever showed up. Called customer service and they couldnt even find me in the system. Had to redo the entire process. Was charged 50 after a credit check was ran. Set up an installation date of December 21. Services installed. In between December 21 and January 22 the internet was out 9 times. I had to pay the FULL bill. Called customer service about the internet being out 9 times within the month to see if I could get reimbursed. They gave me a 25 dollar credit. Fast forward to Feb 26. Servics interrupted due to non payment. Mind you my bill statement due date was March 5. I paid 71 dollars on February 26th and services were supposed to be restored within an hour. Feb 28th. Still no internet. I called and they then inform me that my services have been interrupted due to a credit check that was never done. We redid the credit check even though I already did one and they tell me I owe 350$ to have services restored. NEVER EVER EVER goto frontier. They are the absolute WORST company Ive ever delt with. I cancelled my service and went back to direct tv. Even though its a little bit more pricey I never had an issue with them for the 3 years I had them prior to switching. Frontier internet is a fraud. They take advantage of innocent hard working people and the service is terrible. I would go without internet and cable before I ever went back to them.

Frontier is terrible. Have had them out a couple of times. Because of phone not working and internet not working 😡. When they leave its fixed for a couple of days. Then its back to not working again. We are set up on auto pay. Shame on my husband for that. (And hes to busy with work to sit here and wait on a technician all the time. And Im tired of dealing with them!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬) Because I had my way we wouldnt pay for the days we dont have service. And as of now we have been without phone service for two months. And the internet is extremely slow 😣. Im about sick of it!!!!!! We might as well just disconnect service and use our cell phones. DONT GET FRONTIER!!!!! Youll regret it!!!

The only reason Im even marking 1 star is because I cant mark 0. This is the worst internet provider I have ever dealt with, and I am beyond happy to be switching to Xfinity. We arranged to have the 12 Mbps package with a MONTH-TO-MONTH plan, installed and after a month and a half of hassle to even get a technician to my house and have my services connected, we were told that we could only have the 9 Mbps, okay. Fine. We received our bill the following month and were still being charged for the 12 Mbps. The entire month, month and a half that we had service was nothing but connection issue after connection issue. When I called to cancel my service, the representative informed me that there will be a $111.00 early termination fee, because apparently they have me on a 2 YEAR CONTRACT. I never once agreed to be on a 2 year contract. Save yourself the hassle, do not get this provider. I should have listened to the hundreds of warnings my friends gave me when I told them I was getting Frontier.

I would give zero stars if I could. Called setup a date (which was today) to come hook up 12 mbps internet. They called 2 hours after they was supposed to be coming to tell me they could only offer 3 mbps. I wanted a whole day waiting on them for that?! Frontier is a joke do not call them.

The major problem for Frontier in Pendleton co. West Virginia is old lines. There is nothing like sitting down at my computer and starting to work and having no internet. After talking to several techs in our area, I found out that the lines are the same ones that were installed in the 50. Are there any plans to up-date them ? No. Would I recommend Frontier to anyone moving into eastern Pendleton co. ? No way !

Made arrangements to leave work 3 hours early to have internet installed at my home. Installer never showed up, after they were supposed to be there between 1 and 5 p.m. when I called customer service the woman I spoke to said that on her and it showed the installer had been there and gone and that everything was ready to go. Then she informed us it would only be a speed of 3 mbps not 25 mbps as we were originally told. We told them dont even bother coming, we cancelled. And that was after sitting on hold for over 20 min.

Frontier was going to be a new internet service for us ... we paid deposit and they never showed up to our house ... we called again and set a date for them to show up they never showed again i paid 2 deposits and still have not received my deposit back ...... Will NEVER deal with frontier again the worst !!!!!!!!!!!
