AB Edward did a great job with our new roof! The squirrels had been chewing holes in our old cedar shingle roof and would not quit. So we switched to a composite asphalt shingle roof with architectural shingles - not a preferred squirrel food, as far a we know. AB Edwards project manager Martin was very helpful in advising us on our selection of the shingles and color, and did a great job managing the project. The crew was able to tear off the old cedar shingle roof, replace plywood sheets as needed, and install the new roof - all in 3 days! They also replaced some inadequate gutters around our front entryway. We were very happy with their excellent workmanship, project management, and clean up. Their price was reasonable for the work performed.

We have already highly recommended A.B. Edwards to our neighbors and friends. The roof on our condo building was leaking. A.B. Edwards demolished our roof deck, replaced the roof, and then rebuild part of our deck. They put in concrete pavers and cedar fences. Their work is of very high quality. One of the owners came out several times to inspect the work being done, offered us his honest opinion, and redid work that was not up to his quality expectations. Basically, they went above and beyond to ensure we have a roof and deck that are well built and beautiful. We will use them for any and all projects in the future.

While the roof looks great, I think the team that did the work on our site was sloppy, I still find random nails and shingles around my garden. Also 3-4 months after our roof was replaced, we suddenly had an issue with one of our smoke detectors malfunctioning. The smoke detector had a water leak and we discovered that the bathroom vent was not properly attached to the roof exhaust. We were charged $200 for this vendor to look and re-attach this bathroom vent exhaust.And maybe we didnt ask the right questions but this could have all been avoided if we were properly educated as consumers about the itemized jobs in their contract and really not even make re-attaching a bathroom vent exhaust as optional. If it was attached before, it should be re-attached after the roofing work is complete.

These guys are great. They came quickly to give an estimate, and the price was great. We scheduled quickly for the job. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were very clean! Both on the roof and in our house; they left no dirt or tar and anything anywhere.They are professionals, they are conscientious. I highly recommend them

When we wanted a new roof on our old Victorian house we got estimates and ideas from several roofing contractors. We went with AB Edwards because this roofing contractor was the only one who understood what type of roof a house like ours should have. He showed us a metal shingle that looked exactly like slate that would withstand anything. We had no choice but to give the job to AB Edwards. Our house looks very authentic for the period today.

Recently purchased split level/mid century modern home in the suburbs. We were concerned as the roof had started leaking and it was very old. We knew that we were looking at a total replacement. We had three people come out to quote the job and AB was the least expensive. Typically I dont love using the cheapest, since quality can be an issue, but AB were pros from the start. The quote was by far the most detailed and easiest to understand and they were the first to get back us. Certainly a good start. From there on the work was completed in a professional and timely manner and to my surprise Andy even sent me daily pictures showing what work had been completed. The job is now complete and the roof looks fantastic. With such a large job it feels good to know we made a good choice. I would definitely recommend AB Edward to anyone looking for roofing or other siding work.

AB Edward provided excellent customer service in every way. The gentleman that came out for the initial estimate was prompt and extremely professional. He showed me pictures of where the failures were occurring. When the actual work was performed a few weeks later, once again, they were right on time. And the office staff was great when I had many various inquiries for the work and for applying payment. About a week after the work was completed, by chance a coworker asked me if I knew any roofers. I told her about AB Edward and she ended up having her repairs done by them as well and was also pleased with their work

They also removed and replaced the gutters wonderfully and did some extra work which was quoted reasonably. We used A.B. Edward to remodel our home in 2013, and to build a new patio and porch in 2014. We are extremely happy with the finished products and the quality of the work, and the prices were reasonable and on par with (or lower than) other contractors we spoke with. Communication was great from start to finish, we enjoyed working with Erik, and we liked that they do not use sub-contractors. Took off old cedar shake roof, gutters & flashing. Hauled away. Installed heavy weight cedar shake roof, new flashings, vent caps & new larger gutters. Everything went very smoothly. I was kept up to date when the project would start. The crew is amazing. They are so hard working! They arrived everyday between 7:15-7:30am. They were also friendly & respectful. They cleaned up everyday. The owner is hands on. He came to check on the job, and at the end took a though look/inspection of the roof. He takes a lot of pride and the workmanship of his crew and quality of products shows. On a side note, I got 3 bids for the project and they all came in at around the same price. I ended up going with this company because a lot of my neighbors that had them were just so pleased with them. I will update if there are any issues in the future. Hoping for none:)

Andy was very helpful steering us away from over priced accessories we did not need to keep us under budget I would highly recommend them.

Chris was a pleasure to work with and so was the owner Bo. They werent the lowest price, but were in the middle of the range. What sold me on them was the discussion we had with Chris in the beginning. Weather delayed our project, but thats something you need to accept when you need a roof done in the beginning of August. The people that work for them are also very professional. They were always available to us when we had questions regarding our roofing project. They completed the job quickly and correctly. I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

******BUYERS BEWARE********Regretfully hired this company to re-do the roofing on my home. After agreeing to the estimate and providing 50% the total payment cost they informed me it would take OVER 9 WEEKS to receive the roofing material finally start construction. After they had performed their FINAL INSPECTION the roof looked rushed and the layout was UNEVEN. When I asked them to fix my roof they informed me THE ROOF PASSED ALL INSPECTIONS. Think twice before deciding to do business with these scammers.
