Great place. Was my sons first time and they made him feel welcomed. Great instructors and my son decided to sign up.
Easton Training Center in Arvada is truly one of my favorite places on earth! The combo of TOP CLASS coaching and the emphasis on growth and family makes Easton a special place with a rich culture! Easton For Life!
Easton has completely changed my life. The coaches and professors are the best anybody could ask for. The patience that they have is incredible. The environment is perfect for anybody and everybody, all ages, all experience levels. You don’t just learn BJJ & kickboxing at Easton, you learn humility, respect, and patience. It’s better to learn those things in the gym, than on the streets. I couldn’t see myself training anywhere else. 10/10!!!
This place has the people and environment that will help you grow physically and mentally, and get your head cleared from all the unnecessary bother because you go into such a flow state practicing these martial arts! Would highly recommend to all people and skill levels!
Man we love Easton. My daughter Ru trains tiger Muay Thai and Brazilian Jujitsu. She looks forward to classes every week. My sons Booker and Des are learning respect and discipline and have some wonderful examples of good humans to model after. Professor Jeff is gracious and knowledgeable. Coaches Alex, Caroline, J, Shane, etc... These guys are the best. My family trains together with the kids on Saturdays. Couldnt have imagined a better community of Martial artists. From other parents to other students. This place is the best, bar none!Billy C
Such an awesome community! Great class, they made me feel welcome and shared their knowledge!
As a brand new beginner looking to explore what BJJ is like, the staff made me feel welcome in my first class and made sure I was prepared with an orientation first. They were also professional with the follow up before and after. Highly recommend to any beginners like myself!
ALL THE STARS! I joined Easton Arvada in July 2020 and have been so happy with my decision. This is my first ever attempt at martial arts so honestly I had no clue what to expect and I wanted to try a class seeing as this location is pretty close to my home. The coaches treat everyone with respect and dignity are so just so cool and easy going. Ive had such a great experience that Ive brought my wife and daughters in to it so we can all share the incredible training sessions. And maybe in a couple years well be the toughest family on the block. This is THE place regardless if youre just trying to get your sweat on or if you want to progress in to a skilled martial artist. My only regret is that I waited five years to actually take their class :P
We love having our son train at Easton! The coaches are incredible and it’s always the best part of his day!
My kids thoroughly enjoyBJJ! They can’t stop talking about it! My 4 year old was proud of himself for following instructions! No one can ever get him to do that!
Very happy with the experience so far! The ability to learn two disciplines and cross train is well worth the cost. I will say that one should be committed to training consistently and staying for a while before signing a contract. Otherwise, DO IT!
Though I had some background in Martial Arts I must admit I was a tad nervous to return after an extended break (not least during a pandemic). For this, I couldnt have been more wrong. Joining Easton felt like joining a family. The extensive coaching staff all have their own unique styles and backgrounds but are united in a top down culture of kindness and compassion. Because of this, I felt confident enough to also introduce my fiancé to the gym and she has equally fallen in love with the sport. Getting to train alongside her in such a warm and welcoming environment is an absolute joy.Frank
Great gym to learn Jiu jitsu, super cool staff and supportive vibes all around.
Good, friendly staff. Knowledgable professors and coaches. They welcomed me in and made me feel at home.
I trained at my last gym, in Texas, for 9 years. Finding a new gym in Colorado was intimidating. Easton Arvada has been extremely welcoming. I really feel like Ive found my new home!
Easton Arvada is an amazing community of staff, coaches, and students who make you feel welcomed and encouraged no matter where you are in your fitness and/or martial arts journey. The staff and coaches go the extra mile to make training safe in the midst of a pandemic and give each and every student opportunities to learn and grow. While I started attending Easton Arvada to get into better shape, I find that training with these fabulous humans also makes me want to be a better person. I couldnt be prouder to be apart of this community or more thankful for the staff, coaches, and students.
I have been a part of Easton Arvada for 8 years. I cannot say enough about the culture that we have. The couches are amazing. This is more than a team this a family. I highly recommend Easton Arvada for families, individuals, children and adults.Jed Heinz
Easton Training Center is my favorite place to train Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and kickboxing (I’ve been a member at both the Denver and Arvada locations). I’ve trained in mixed martial arts for over 10 years on and off and been a member at more than a handful of gyms (including others that train UFC fighters), and ETC has been the best overall experience I’ve had so far. The coaches and staff are top-notch, and the feel around the gym is so welcoming and positive that it’s my favorite part of the day to come to Easton. Not to mention they can get you in shape in no time!
Extremely nervous, stepping out of my comfort zone to try new things and my normal day routine, kickboxing was recommended. Completed my 5th kickboxing class and couldnt be happier Im giving it a shot. Everyone from my very beginning phone call has been very nice, welcoming, and encouraging. Not to mention the location is super convenient for me!
Friendly Staff, frequent classes. Membership covers multiple locations, this place is a GREAT place to learn.
Enrolling my 11 year old at Easton has been one of the best decisions weve ever made. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful and the coaches are simply the best. The amount of self confidence my son has gained in just a few months is pretty unbelievable and his coach, Dalton, really seems to care about his students and want what is best for them. I see us staying with Easton for many years.
Easton is the best place to train. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The Atmosphere is tremendous, the Instructors are top notch, the Staff is very friendly and helpful and the Community is second to none!
Great instructors, great students. I’ve been really impressed with their flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing conditions under Covid. Their leadership team and gym heads have done an outstanding job communicating with the students to keep them up to date on changes and overall direction.
Excellent training facility with top notch instructors!
I love this place. Great coaches and great staff make for a rewarding and knowledgeable experience. It’s very strong communally and the training sessions leave you feel confident, able, and fully exercised.
Started going to Easton as soon as they opened up after the COVID shutdown. The place I was going to before went out of business so I was searching for a new academy. My experience here has been terrific! The coaches are very involved in teaching and making sure that students understand techniques and combinations in Muay Thai and kickboxing. We get a lot of hands-on training with partners and bags. Its been a terrific experience and Im glad my buddies and I chose Easton Training Center in Arvada to continue our training.
This is a great place to train! All the coaches are very motivating and care about your progression. Wether you are coming to get in shape or improve your skills this is the place to be.
Training at Easton has been fantastic! I started after COVID and its been a perfect supplement to my weekly routine. I enjoy the cleanliness of the facility, the variety of workouts that I get from the different coaches, and the camaraderie between fellow students.
It truly feels like a second home! The coaches are awesome, the students are awesome, the atmosphere is awesome. Youll learn legit Muay Thai, make lots of friends, get physically and mentally fit, and do wonders for your attitude!
Easton is an amazing facility with very knowledgeable & supportive coaching staff and a great community feel. I could not be happier with my experience at Easton !
If youre looking for a place to train, this is a great place to start out. Also, there is room for growth for intermediate/experienced Muay Thai practitioners, you just need to seek it out. There is a lot of focus in welcoming and developing new students. It works great with my schedule and has the best covid schedule/policies where I get to train a lot but dont have to worry about unnecessary exposure.Lastly, I dont roll BJJ myself personally but theres always a good vibe going and it seems like they are having a blast.
This is a fantastic facility with staff that’s friendly and coaches who are patient and knowledgeable. I love the mat chats they do with the kids. It totally reiterates what we are teaching at home. I love seeing the excitement and discipline that’s grown in my 9-year-old son as he continually practices. His inner warrior is being refined and challenged and it’s so cool to watch! Thanks Easton!
Loooove Easton academy. Ive been doing Muay Thai and kickboxing for a little over a year now. Kickboxing is the perfect workout to build strength and technique and blow off steam. Muay Thai is a similarly good workout with lots of emphasis on self-defense and sparring technique. The staff are friendly and helpful and the coaches are very passionate and good at what they do. Its a tight-knit but welcoming community. Would highly recommend!
Great workout. Great instructors
The workouts are great, the instructors are great and the lessons are great as well! So far 2 classes in, 3rd class tonight but heard and experienced nothing but great things!
My Son and I were welcomed with open arms and we were made to feel right at home! I signed both of us up for memberships immediately! Fantastic instruction from great instructors, who put their students needs first. The Easton community is charitable, charismatic, dependable and full of dedication! We Love it here!
Kickboxing in a clean friendly environment that makes you feel welcomed is a nice feeling
Easton Arvada is not just a training center, it is a family to some. When I first walked in I was nervous not knowing what to expect, but everyone there took me in and was eager to watch me grow amongst the others. The coaches take their time with their students and help people get to where they want to be and help them reach their personal goals. If you want to compete, fight MMA, just do BJJ & Muay Thai to get in shape or for self defense, they will make sure to get you to where you need to be and bond with you throughout the process. I personally couldnt ask for a better family or a better group of people to surround myself with.
Great place. Great facility. Clean with nice amenities. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and inviting. The students were the same. I felt very welcomed. Stoped in for open mat, I will go back when I am in town again.
Excellent curriculum. Ability to go to different locations is awesome. The community atmosphere is great. Coaches and professors are very down to earth and chill. I love that!!
Always wanted to try BJJ but was nervous about taking the first step. Easton made this so easy with all of the great coaches and professors and a truly friendly atmosphere. If you want to try, dont let fear stop you, there is nothing to fear here.
I can honestly say that going to the Easton Training Center - Arvada is my favorite thing to do. Training here is more than just a hobby, its a lifestyle. The staff is unbelievably friendly and make everyone feel welcome. Taryn and Caroline always great me with a smile and I love every instructor I take classes with. I tell everyone to train at Easton!
Flat out: I love this gym. Professor Jeff and crew are all amazing people. Super welcoming vibe, thorough and digestible instruction, and a great facility. I visit all the Easton clubs to train, but this is my home mat. Definitely check it out.
Great and friendly staff. The place is kept clean and the coaches/professors are very willing to help out with questions, and explain things clearly.
This place is awesome. A welcoming environment with fantastic instructors who are knowledgeable and helpful. A great safe place to train.
Everyone here has been very welcoming and inviting to people just trying out martial arts for the first time. Perfect place to get a start!
My family and I have been going to Easton Arvada for years. Both the kickboxing/Muay Thai and Jujitsu programs are top notch.
The environment is perfect regardless of your goals. You can find classes and training partners if you are wanting to compete, yet there are classes for children that are very well tailored to learning and having fun. My son has been training here since he was 5, and I have been training here since 2013. I couldnt be happier with my experience/growth as well as the growth I have seen in my son.
I was looking to be a better fighter and this is just the place.
My son attends the Tigers BJJ classes at Easton. This is a great environment for him to learn jiu jitsu. There is a great ratio of coaches to students and safety is a high priority. We tried a different gym for a few months before coming here, and it really showed us the difference in quality between gyms. I would highly recommend Easton.
Great workout, awesome coaches, and a clean facility 🤘🏻
Multiple opportunities to attend training sessions throughout the day, with the many locations and classes offered. The Coaches and students always provide a positive and optimal learning environment. Never any biased outlook or feedback from coaches or students, whether you are fresh or experienced in class, the staff is always willing to assist you and make the most of your time in class, always fun and great experience.Coach Wes and Matt are always welcoming, creating a positive class and always willing to offer constructive instruction to each student, never becoming impatient and making sure the student has a full understanding of the technique.
Visited from the Castle Rock location and had a great early morning class with coach Rox!
Jeff and his team did everything right to make a newcomer feel welcome and prepared. Walking into a tight knit community on top of learning a new martial art can be intimidating.Easton in Arvada and Denver go above and beyond to get a new member integrated.I would also suggest trying out BJJ and Muay Thai.
Ive been training here for about a month and I am OBSESSED! This is a welcoming community and they have helped my flourish as a student. I look forward to every session and can honestly say that I am growing in confidence within myself.
Great gym/instructors, poor cancellation policy.I made it very clear I was in a transition phase with work when I signed up...Was assured it wouldnt be an issue and theyd work with me.Week after signing up my job relocated me to a new location.Called to cancel my membership...Ended up paying $260 for a single day of training and told their hands were tied concerning any refunds. Was hoping theyd be more understanding, very disappointed how this was handled.
This is a great place if you choose to commit. This summer my boyfriend went here for one class and he signed a contract with them and they told him the $50 deposit for it was refundable (they didnt say within 30 days out loud, but its in the contract he signed). After a couple weeks he hasnt taken any classes and he decided he didnt want to be a part of this guy because he wanted to be somewhere that focused more on competitions outside of the people at the gym. He called them and told them to cancel because he wasnt interested anymore at the time. He said that my card had been lost and did they need my new one for the refund and they said they should be able to refund it. No refunds. They kept sending emails saying they couldnt charge the card and they sent him a text asking what was up. He told them again that he didnt want to be a part of the gym at this time (this was EXACTLY 30 days after he signed the contract and put the money back). No money was seen from them. I took control at this point and called about 2 weeks after he made the second request (because we were out of town on business and then vacation) to cancel and the manager on the phone told me that I couldnt get my money back unless it was within that 30 days. I let him know it was and have the specific days. I also asked if he needed is to send screenshots of the conversation to him and he said no and he would do some research on the matter and call me back. I have not heard anything back from them, I havent received my money and every time I drive by there it makes me even more angry of how much they lack the customer service to adequately take care of this situation. I wouldnt suggest signing a gym contact with them unless you are 100% certain that you want to be with them.
Going to Easton every day is the best thing I do for myself. It keeps me in shape and challenges me to learn more and become a better person. Whether it is Jiu-Jitsu or kickboxing/Muay Thai, their coaches are super knowledgeable and helpful.
Jeff and all the coaches and professors are great teachers who truly care about the kids. Easton gives kids solid physical training in a format that is age-appropriate, as well as practicing good sportsmanship and what it means to be a good partner. The character lessons along with the BJJ training are excellent, supporting families as they help their kids become responsible, well-grounded adults.
I had a really valuable few months here and I feel like I learned a lot, thanks to great instruction - I wish I could remember the names of my favorite instructors. I am an adult woman, and I was really pleased to see a strong showing of female students and instructors here! Pricing is competitive and fair for jiu jitsu in Denver, but as with most gyms, it is a monthly unlimited price (so no discount for attending fewer classes per week, since making jiu jitsu a lifestyle is encouraged here - great for some, but not for me).
My kids love their BJJ classes at Easton. The coaches and professors seem very knowledgeable and supportive.
I regularly visit open training sessions here on the weekends. Though I am currently training full time at another facility Ive had nothing but welcoming experiences. Great people. Great environment.
My 9 year old son is an Easton member in Tigers Muay Thai, and BJJ! We couldnt be happier with our decision to enroll him. Jacoby really enjoys class, stays focused, and most importantly, it keeps him active. The staff is always friendly, and Max is an awesome coach! He keeps the kiddos focused, and involved while challenging them to give their very best!
I absolutely LOVE this place. I am a week in and I am already addicted. The instructors are top class and the facility is just great. The fellow Jiu-Jitsu students are friendly and very helpful. It felt like a family from the moment my first class started! I’ll train BJJ here forever!
This is an excellent organization that teaches real usable martial arts to beginners and veterans. The Brazilian jujitsu skill of the instructors is of the highest caliber and I found the facility pleasant and clean. The classes are organized well run and friendly. The changing rooms consist of individual stalls. There is a shower.
Easton Arvada has given me the courage to face all the challenges life brings my way. Professor Jeff and Patrick are incredible people and keep the academy safe and fun. I started out with the Kline bros in 2011 and after a couple years of training I was involved in a high speed car accident. Upon my return to JiuJitsu I was nervous because the Kline Bros was my home academy. I was scared coming back because it can be intimidating joining anything new especially Jiu Jitsu, but especially after a severe injury. I gained the courage to come back and I can personally tell you I am so happy I chose Easton TC. Thanks to my Easton team for keeping the experience enjoyable.
As an older student Im a little slower than others. The pace of the class is perfect. Fast enough to be challenging but not overwhelming. Instructors are patient and encouraging.
This school is absolutely top notch! The classes are great and the professors are even better. In the four months Ive been there I have lost 30 lbs with only a small change in my diet to go with it. They dont just take your money and let you be either, if you dont show up for classes for a while theyll call you and check in to be sure everything is ok. The Kline brothers and the other professors there really want their students to succeed and it shows in every class they teach
I go here a few times a week to train in BJJ. The coaches are friendly and very knowledgeable. The community is friendly and welcoming and everyone is eager to help each other out to be the best we can be.
Easton – Arvada is great! After moving from California, my young son and I were looking for a new place to continue training Brazilian jiu jitsu. We tried out a few Denver-area academies. But after taking our first trial classes at the Arvada location, we stopped searching and signed up right away. The kids program and instructors, in particular, are excellent. Coaches Jeremiah (aka, JR) and Alex run such great classes for the kids. My son absolutely loves the coaches and has so much fun in class. This is not to say that we sacrificed quality adult classes for a great kids program. No compromise needed! The adult classes are equally impressive. I have yet to have a “bad” or even a “meh” coach teach a class. They have their own styles, of course, and sometimes emphasize difference nuances, but they are all so good. I especially like the AM no-gi classes with Coach JT (aka, Josh). And you can never go wrong with any class taught by Coach JR, kids or adults. So many others at Easton – Arvada, on and off the mats, also contribute to the great experience (e.g., Caroline, Taryn, and Professor Jeff). And the fellow students are generally such good people that I almost don’t mind getting caught in a rear naked choke. :-)
Great school. My kids thrive here. The addition of Muy Thai to the kids program is wonderful!
Eastons kids classes are very interactive and provide quite a bit of individual instruction. My son has had a blast in all of his classes and has learned a lot so far. Highly recommended.
This is by far the best BJJ gym in Colorado...period. The expert instruction each member receives. To the focus on technique aquity is unparalleled. The community the owners grow within the gym and the variety of classes and times offered accomidates a variety of work and home life schedules. I love my BJJ gymMatt Schierenberg
Im a purple belt in my 9th year of training. Ive trained in Korea, Virginia, and now Colorado, and trained consistently at 6 different gyms in total. Ive been training at Easton for over a year. Im a military transplant and student. This place is really wonderful. They dont care what color gi you have or if I wore patches from my former schools. Classes start and end on time and utilize time efficiently. Advanced gi classes are taught by black belts, and only once have I been the highest level student in the advanced class. Ive only had very positive experiences here - Ive never experienced any bro-culture here, nor heard any type of negative comments to anyone.Sparring is systematic, with different groups picking their partners. Sometimes women, brown belts, white belts, etc. Each round has different folks picking partners, and anyone can ask an upper belt, including the instructors, to roll. When there are unequal numbers of sparring partners, the person who sat out will choose first, and Ive never seen the same person out twice.Overall very professional but personal. Focus on training and being better. They dont discount personal journey in those folks who are not champions in the making, nor do they only focus on the elites. I felt welcome, comfortable, and when I just put in my notice (finishing school in a few months!), the head coach reached out to thank me for training there and letting me know I was welcome at any time.If youre thinking of trying jiu jitsu, Id strongly encourage you to stop by!
If you are looking for first class martial arts instruction combined with excellent customer service and professionalism from the staff Easton Arvada is a great choice. The GM, Jeff Ake, has been my co-worker, training partner, and friend for years so Ive been able to see first hand his dedication and commitment to the art of jiu jitsu and the growth of his own skill but more importantly his students. From kids to teens to adults he has great attention to detail and passion to pass on his knowledge.Easton as a community is second to none. I have since moved out of state but consider Easton a family. If you have the opportunity to add join I have no doubt in time you will feel the same way.
I love this place! Its humble, structured and not obnoxious in any way. Simply a great community of all types, skills and ages learning from top-notch instructors. Highly recommended for Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Yoga and BJJ.
Great facility, and even nicer staff. Ive been envolved in different disciplines, and this one is a great place to learn.
Great instructors and an even better community. Along my journey at Easton’s I learned self defense, got in shape, and met some amazing people.
As a member of the Easton Brazillian Jiu Jitsu team, I can honestly say that Jeff and the staff at Easton Arvada do an excellent job in taking care of their students, welcoming people of all types and goals, and creating a place where students can train safely and become the best versions of themselves!
Competent practitioners and teachers. Trustworthy and responsible owners... whats to complain about?
Great gym. Great instructors. Great people. Great training.
This is a great top tier academy with various programs geared for all ages and experience. I have enjoyed every class from boxing to jiu jitsu.
The manager Jeff Ake is one of the best Jiu-Jitsu instructors Ive ever seen. This place will not disappoint!
I originally came here for a trial after moving to the Denver area knowing very few people, just looking for a place to get back into Muay Thai. I immediately felt welcomed by the members and by the staff. This gym offers a rare combination of 1) challenging and technically advanced martial arts program & 2) a smaller community of members who get along great, train respectfully, and encourage each other every day.If you think of MMA as an activity for aggressive meathead types at a big corporate gym, please understand this is the opposite of that culture - much more cooperative and relaxed. The most skilled and dangerous people here have excellent control. They can train safely with a total beginner all the way to other athletes at their level & beyond. You will never be shamed for asking a question in class or for not knowing how to do something yet and needing to slow down to learn it step by step. The gym offers BJJ for kids and adults, Muay Thai (Thai kickboxing), kickboxing (drills on a bag or pads - no one is hitting you), western boxing, strength & conditioning 3x a week, and yoga 2x a week. The yoga classes are more like physical therapy, meaning assisted stretching with the instructor rather than solely going through a series of yoga poses. The strength and conditioning classes involve kettlebells, some barbell movements, mobility drills, and some bodyweight exercises. There are dedicated times for supervised kickboxing/boxing sparring or BJJ randori. If you are an experienced martial artist and want to compete or do a smoker, you can - this gym connects you to the whole Easton network and supports competitors.Come check it out!
Outstanding experience.I previously took my child to a local jiu jitsu school that was akin to a horribly run childcare facilty. After 2 sessions I pulled my child from the school and went straight to Easton Arvada as I had trained at the Denver location Im the past and had an amazing experience of my own. The coaches and professors were not just some of the best teachers I had ever come across, but some of the most genuine people. They are passionate about what they do and it shows. My son has been going there for over a year now and Ive literally seen him transform as a human. The jiu jitsu/muy thai lifestyle at Easton Martial Arts academy is the best.
I walked in one random evening just to ask questions and check the place out. Five years later, Im still there and taking classes and loving it.
Not sure who that Sal guy is who wrote the bad review, but he has no clue. Look up his profile and you will see he fancies himself as some type of expert on local jiu jitsu schools. He is exactly the type of knucklehead you WONT find at Easton. I have nothing bad to say about any other school because I do not have any personal experience with them. I can say that I have never experienced a place that is more inspiring and welcoming than Easton in Arvada. I am in my forties, was overweight and out of shape and not only did the instructors meet me where I am physically, but all the other students are gracious and easy going as well. That can only happen if everybody feels safe and comfortable in that environment. Nick and Chris teach jiu jitsu because they are passionate about it, not because it happens to be a trendy way to make a living. They love what they do and they clearly love to teach. Sal, you have made a poor assessment of those guys...but looking at your profile and other reviews, it is pretty clear you have an agenda against Easton schools. Maybe you should take up tae kwan do since jiu jitsu obviously is not your thing.
Ego driven coaches that make fun of people that are new to the gym lots of bullies only go here if you have tough skin and what other people say and do to you doesnt affect you and youll be fine
Outstanding instructors, outstanding atmosphere.
