Wanted to have my iPhone battery replaced, searched the web for something close - found CiTiFiX. Called to verify they did it, the price and how long it would take. He said it would take 1/2 hour and they could do it while I waited - I didnt need an appointment. I checked their hours - they opened a 9 am. I got there at 9:05, he was very courteous, told me the price (which matched the quote). I also asked him to replace the screen protector. I read the paper in the car and he came out when he was done. Paid the bill and I was done by 9:30. Very processional - great experience. Two thumbs up!

Do not use him for a PlayStation! A couple of the reviews point to the “fix” not lasting and, if this happens to you, I can tell you that he isn’t professional when it doesn’t last. I paid $175 to get my son’s PS5 fixed, which was more expensive than others but there were delays at other places so I went here. Less than four months later, the part he fix/replaced/soddered was totally loose and made the PS5 unplayable. When I called him, he at first denied working on my son’s PS5 and said that he had only ever fixed 2 PS5s- one was his cousin’s and one for someone else. I found the receipt so he had to admit to “fixing it.” He saw the loose piece and said that he’d have to re-do the whole job and charge $150 for it. No admitting that he probably did a poor job originally or even agreeing to a deeply discounted rate.

I brought in my old G4 with a bad hard drive which unfortunately he wasn’t able to fix and I’m going to have to bring it to a super specialist but he was really cool and didn’t charge me anything-a friendly and helpful Dude!-i would highly recommend Citifix!

Quick change of screen for my iphone but I also took a laptop and the result was not good, I had to change the power connector but apparently the solder overheated and the cover now looks burned and deformed, it didnt seem like a good job

They replaced the cracked screen on my Samsung Galaxy 8 Plus for the price I was quoted over the phone while I waited. Took about 40 minutes. Excellent Service from an Excellent place!

Tony is expert. He replaced the battery in my 2009 Mac laptop, and it is very happy. He charged what he estimated over the phone, took about 10 minutes while I waited. He even talked to me about my iPhone 7 I am about to mail back to Apple for a warranty repair. Highly recommend. No problem with COVID protocol. I waited in the car, and he came to me gloved and masked.

I have been here a few times for 3 different devices. I was always met with courteous and respectful service. They were honest about how long the repair would take and provided updates. The service price was very reasonable.I recently went in for an iPhone 8 screen replacement. 15 minutes and we were done. If I went to the Apple store I would have to have made an appointment online, drop off my phone and waited a few days. Oh and I would have paid twice as much for the repair.

These guys are great! Ive used them on 5 different occasions and have never been disappointed. Their prices are very fair and theyre prompt to get things repaired. Also did some work on the gps antenna which solved my location issues and he didnt charge for that. After getting quotes from 3 different stores, for an iPhone 6s battery replacement, I chose CiTiFiX because they had the best price around and they offered to check me in right away. This man is a wizard as he replaced the battery in my phone in less than 12 minutes! The battery is working very well, my phone made it a day and a half without the need for a charge! The owner is very friendly and he knows what he is doing! Use this place, they are very good. And, you can play PacMan while you wait!

Great service! Needed my iPhone 6s screen repaired quick to avoid more shards of glass in my finger. They accepted my phone as a work in between their actual appointments and had it done within a few minutes . Everyone was really nice and prices were reasonable. I am so happy I chose this place! My phones charger port was fried. He helped me swap phone pieces from another phone I had. That phone had a faulty screen however so we swapped my perfectly good screen to that one. When I paid him I wanted to tip him for the great help (he saved all my pictures!!) but instead of receiving it like a tip, he gave me a phone case I kept eyeing without charge. Well, the screen didnt seem to be the issue. The phone kept up with that phantom finger crap so finally after about a month, I went back with money in my pocket to just buy a new phone. Instead of seizing the opportunity to sell me another phone, the repair guy took the time to still investigate why the phone wasnt working. He discovered the issue and fixed it for only a 1/3 of the price I would have spent on a new phone! When I went to tip him again, instead of receiving it like a tip, he included a tempered glass cover on the screen. I will always do business with this guy moving forward! He is honest, extremely fair in prices, and definitely knows what hes doing.

Tony is great! My phones touch screen was sporadically working. I called up on a Saturday and he was closed. He met me after hours at the shop to look at my phone. He opened it up adjusted some connections and put it back together. It took about 5 min. That was 3 weeks ago and the phone is working great. The best part, he did not even charge me for his time. Citifix fixed my severely damaged screen. They had to order my screen and it took about a week for it to come in. Although it took longer then I expected for the screen to come in, customer service was great. They called twice to give me an update as to when I could come in to have my screen repaired and price was reasonable.

Went there today and was out in 20 minutes. Nice people great service only $100 for a iPhone 7 screen repair and they threw in a screen protector! Edit: not even two days later and the screen protector shattered and the new screen shattered. Save yourself the money and devote it to certified repairmen at Best Buy or apple.

I was looking for a place to fix a cracked cell phone screen. The Yelp and Google reviews of the first few places I looked at were iffy, and then I found IFixIt and it was pretty close to West Hartford. I called and they had the parts and availability. I drove out and he was very friendly and got to work quickly. The repair was speedy and the phone looked great. Worth the trip and would certainly recommend.

Do not bring your phone here to get fixed!!!! I brought my daughter and sons phone here to get new screens when they cracked and they lasted about a week. When the screens were replaced by another company, they said the screen was barely screwed into place and it was a terrible job, definitely not done by a professional. Do not pay $110 for unprofessional work. They just get you in and out to make money. This place should be shut down.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Great store, fast service, fixed my iPhone quickly and it was unbelievably affordable. They also have a nice selection of pre-owned phones, laptops and iPads. I know where Im going when I need to purchase another phone.

My iPhone would not charge and I had gone thru the troubleshooting steps on the web to no avail. In 30 minutes, these guys diagnosed the problem and replaced a bad charging port for the very reasonable price of $45. A few months ago, a friend of mine got a great deal here on a reconditioned iPhone after her very old phone failed completely. Great guys, great service.

Had a screen replaced on my iphone- was in and out within about 10 minutes. The guys were cool, and the price was reasonable. Only bad thing about the whole thing was that they had pop-country music videos playing on a TV right next to the chairs for the customers. But since I was in and out so quickly, any brain damage I suffered was minimal. :)

GPS stopped working on my iPhone and after exhausting software attempts with Apple support, decided it needed a hardware fix. Searched and found CiTiFix in Wethersfield with all great reviews.Got a quick email reply that it was fixable and set up a time. Went to the Apple Store and they offered to replace our I Phone 6, which wasnt charging or playing sound, for $300. Went to Citfix, and he opened it up, found a loose screw, tightened the parts, and now it works. He charged us nothing. We will definitely be back when we have a real need!
