What a nightmare. We installed an over $5000 pool liner the summer before last. Unfortunately, we had some water issues and took the water sample to Carroll County Pools. At the time, their computer was not working, and so rather than test our water with a system that could confirm what was going on, they eyeballed the water and told us we had black algae in our pool. They then prescribed the chemicals to take care of that problem (which wasnt the problem at all we later learned) and sold them to us. As novices who would know no better than to trust the experts, we did exactly what they told us to do and added the many chemicals to our pool (for a problem that didnt even exist!) in the exact amounts they specified. We followed their instructions to a t. Within a day, our beautiful, brand new, dark blue pool liner, installed only a few weeks prior, was a faded light blue. The liner on the sides of the pool is the original color and the liner in the bottom of the pool is the ruined, distinctively lighter, faded blue.We have contacted the business over and over, have documented the problem, and sent photographs. We got a call last summer from a manager who intended to come out and look at the liner, but we never heard back from him, and he never came. We have held off on the complaint to the Better Business Bureau and pursuing a lawsuit to give them a chance to rectify the problem since until they misdiagnosed and mis-treated our water, we had liked buying from them and using them as our main go-to for water testing, chemicals, and advice. Until this point, we had been quite pleased with their service and always opted for CC Pools over the others in town.Its sickening to look at what was a beautiful liner that, with refilling the pool, totaled in the thousands of dollars only to know that Carroll County Pools refuses to even acknowledge their error or to offer compensatory damages.If you want experts, I recommend Gallagher Pools and Spa.

Never use this pool company......!!!!Carroll County Pools has a couple Ripoff artists working for them named Colby & Hunter...I contacted Carroll County Pools the first week of March to do a liner replacement & step repair on my inground / indoor pool.Colby & Hunter showed up March 16th to assess the jobAfter looking at the job they said if we booked the job thru CC Pools they probably would not be able to install the custom liner that I already purchased. And booking the job thru CC Pools they most likely could not  get us scheduled till mid June anyway.Colby & Hunter then offered to come do the job on their day off for (cash).....with CC Pools full knowledge......We agreed on Twenty Fine Hundred Dollars & April 10 & 11 to complete the job.They didnt show up till after noon on the 10th an didnt finish on the11th, and had tocome back April 12th .....After waiting for the step paint to dry we filled the pool & immediately knew their was a BIG leak around the step where the liner had a  couple (stretch tears) one below the steps & another one below a return port...After repeated attempts to contact  Ripoff artists Colby & Hunter with (no call back) I even offered a additional Five Hundred to get them back to fix the leak....After several weeks texting & calling Colby & Hunter, I called Jason & Kris @ CC Pools on May 5th..I explain my concerns to them andThey both openly admitted they were aware that Colby & Hunter did our job for cash, using the companys van & equipment, Jason & Kris both assured me that we were not being ripped off and they would have Colby & Hunter call me to arrange a time to fix their mistakes...I called CC Pools every other day for two weeks to let Kris & Jason know that I still hadnt  received a call back from Colby or  Hunter... The office said each time that they would contact Colby & Hunter right then, and have them call me..(I HEARD NOTHING...!)I called the office one last time on May 25th before posting this review & Jason said Hunter was in the office  & put him on the phone with me & he assured me that he would he and Colby would call me the next day & set up a time to come and complete my job...Its now June 16th & I still havent heard from CC Pools or the Ripoff crew that took our money & ran....I contact a reputable pool company (right in the middle of POOL OPENING Season ) to fix the problems they created.....!The reputable company (with honest employees) was here & fixed their incompetence two days later...These Clowns Totally Screwed us out of $2,500 dollars....!!!Im also filing a complaint with the BB  Bureau.JParksHanover Pa.

On Saturday Colby came out to replace a light in my pool. I just purchased this home and the previous owner had set everything up. After taking out the old light, he realized that in order to put the new light in, he would have to get into the pool and didnt have a bathing suit or towel with him. He said he would be back. Colby never returned Saturday.I called on Monday asking the status of my repair. The old light was still connected and sitting on the pool deck. I was told that I would receive a phone call back regarding the status. Did not get a call back Monday.Tuesday morning I called again. Once again I was told I would receive a phone call back regarding the status. By Tuesday afternoon I still had not received a phone call back. I called Tuesday afternoon asking for the status. I was told that I would receive a phone call from the service manager. I also contacted the previous homeowner, who paid for and arranged the replacement of the light. He contacted the company and was assured I would receive a call back Wednesday from Colby.As of 500 PM today, I had not received a phone call. I called, was put on hold and told the service manager would contact me in a few minutes. The pool is still usable, but the light is still sitting, connected on the pool deck. There is a small piece of metal sticking out from the area. I cut my toe on it while swimming. Not bad, just superficial. But a cut nonetheless.Finally, at 600 pm I got a phone call from Colby. I was told that they fix it when they get a chance. They have other jobs to do. colby stated that when he told me he would be back after getting his suit and towel, he didnt mean saturday because he lives an hour away. He could not give me a new date to finish the job, because he has other jobs to do. So i guess I am supposed to just sit around and wait for him to fit me into his schedule. He also told luck getting the owner to talk to me because he is too busy installing pools.10/10 would not recommend.Update!!!Another pool company, dog days of summer came in and finished the job. The gentleman who fixed the light came prepared with diving equipment. They were very helpful, contacted me the day prior to let me know when they were coming out and showed up on time.Got a phone call from Carroll County pools asking if they were ok to continue with the previously scheduled pool closing. After attempting to explain the light situation they really didn’t care to hear about my customer service complaint. I now put them at a 12/10 would NOT rev

Started with my pool last year and they were recommended. Theyve been excellent - always helpful and extremely friendly. I had an issue with my pump and they had their engineer call me within an hour with troubleshooting suggestions. Its taken all the guess work out of pool maintenance and repair. Highly recommended.

Outstanding service team and Store Staff are always knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful! I wouldnt go anywhere else. Ever issue Ive had with my pool they have solved it!! Would highly recommend this Pool company, My Pool has never looked better!!

Ask for the Manager Kris, shes such a sweetheart but Shane is top notch.

If I could give a negative star I would. Did damage to my property and the management is extremely rude and unhelpful, Call Buddys pools. They are much better.

Had what I needed. Great customer service.

Will never call again or refer to others. Inexperienced Crew cost us money, followed up with excuses from Owner. Was a Customer for years and no more.
