I was kept informed through every step of the process. They made me feed at ease and were easy to get a hold of. At times, they were returning calls/texts messages on there day off or after hours. Thank you very much. You are both great individuals and my family is grateful for all the help you provided us during this difficult time.Thank you.Martinez Family

I have also called to have the over grown grass removed from the vases and when I showed up nothing had been done.

I would like to tell everyone of my, and my sisters heartfelt experience with all of the wonderful employees at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary, Dignity Memorial. Our Mother passed on the 10Th of April 2021. Our first contacts were Garrett Shull and Emma Birdseye. They came to transport my mothers body. They were both so very respectful and caring with us all. They handled our mom as if she were their own. Elizabeth Mendoza, our funeral arranger was our next contact. Caring, knowledgeable, explained every step and organized everything. Made sure we had everything for our meeting at the mortuary . Where we met with Elizabeth Mendoza, and Larry LaCost assistant Manager Cemetery and Anna Stemmer. Again, very knowledgeable, Caring, but the most important thing was the love and humanity. Ron Grant, Service director gravesite, showed all the love and caring . All of us shared stories funny and sad. And Horacio Berumen, our maintenance gentleman, who opened and closed the Bench my mom and dad both rest in now, handled my folks and my family with the greatest of care. And I don’t want to forget the lovely lady who is the receptionist, the first person we greet, ❤️. Last but not least, Lilly Navas, as we stood and talked to say our goodbyes, I want to say again what a wonderful caring staff . To you all my sister and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.Kathy Shaw and Vicky Pasley

My mothers passing was the most difficult time of my life. I was at a complete loss and the process of having to plan her funeral was overwhelming. Westminister mortuary was the best place I could have ever gone. They offered me advice and a step by step process of how things would go. I was never pressured to use their services or buy anything that I felt was not needed. Elizabeth our funeral director was the most caring and patient person I have really ever met. She gave us so much respect and time to grieve in own our process. Words can not describe how grateful my family has been to her. The mortuary is beautiful, aswell as the cemetery. From the flower arrangement, the portrait, and slide show of photos everything it was beautifully done. The treated my mom with respect and dignity. Our overall experience with Dignity was pleasant and positive. The staffs were polite, attentive and accommodating. The two staffs who left us with a very positive experience are Warren and the African American lady Funeral Director. Although we werent able to have our memorial service inside the chapel due to Covid-19, the tent was large, private and with plenty of parking nearby. It would have been been a 5-star reviews instead of 3.5 if the following issues didnt happened.1. The family counselor named Victor Vu who was assigned to the family for the burial arrangement was unprofessional and unhelpful. Rather than listening and helping the family with finding a solution to provide the required cultural and religious rites for our mom, he was pushing us to get rid of them to make matter simple. His lack of caring and understanding of the family needs was rather disappointed and shocking. He told us at the in-person meeting the service by Westminister Memorial to the family under the signed contract with Dignity was a favor because the service was bought at another Dignitys funeral home despite it was written in the contract that it will be honored at any Dignitys funeral home locations in the country.2. There was a mix up of the flower wreaths at the church and cemetary. We requested for specific wreaths to be taken to the church but the staffs brought them to the cemetary instead. This is not a major issue to our family.3. I hope Funeral Director for the church and burial services named Ron understands the burial service for Vietnamese Catholic is longer than other ones because we have a lot of prayers to say and stay at the cemetary with the decease after burial service is done. We felt a bit rush from reading his body language and gestures. Nonetheless, he did a good job to give us time and accommodate our needs.

My grandmother recently passed away during the pandemic and this location planned a wonderful service for her to rest. Due to the pandemic they would only allow 10 people in the building (chapel) and at the resting plot or they would not continue on with the service. They even have an online stream service for anyone unable to attend to watch at home or on their phone. But overall the service and burial was wonderful and very professionally done. At the end of the service after the priest finished speaking just before the burial a butterfly landed on my grandmothers casket which was very beautiful and very meaningful to us because the same thing happened at my grandfathers funeral. My grandmother can now rest peacefully right next to my grandfather. Thank you for a wonderful service.

My mother passed away on February 13, her birthday. Warren helped me to plan my mothers funeral. I can honestly say the planning was seamless. Everything went so smoothly, the flowers, the setting, the staff...no one, absolutely no one hard sells anything. Which when youre grieving is so appreciated. I had to organize this alone, but because of Warren (and Cindy) I didnt feel alone. You should plan early with loved ones, and purchase ahead of time (like mama did). This makes other decisions so much easier. Thank you to all at WMP / Dignity.

Very professional and helpful staff. Chelsea helped my dad and I plan the funeral service for my mom and she was very friendly, patient, and accommodating with all of our requests for the service. The main chapel where we had my moms service in was beautiful and my family was happy with how everything turned out. One thing to note is that this is a non-secular funeral home, so please take this into consideration when you plan a service here. My family wanted to hold a Catholic funeral service for my mom at the chapel here but since they are not a church, we just needed to plan that portion of the service separately, which included finding a priest, purchasing a funeral pall, and a few other things. Again, just something to keep in mind. Thanks for everything.

---My mother passed away just a short three weeks ago now and it still bothers me the way your funeral home handled things. My sister neglected to tell me when the viewing was, but yet she was in charge of everything legally as power of attorney. Imagine my shock and surprise when I found out on a Friday night that the viewing was Monday and I had appointments I could not break? Robert at your funeral home said that was the only day they could do the viewing and refused to change the date. It wasnt until a few days later when they decided to change their mind but by then Id already dealt with the frustration of accepting that I was not able to go. Your funeral directors reasoning when I question him was that I was supposed to call him back with a date? He knew full well the reason I didnt call him back was because:A) I was informed by him I was not allowed to make any decisions and everything was decided by my sister andB) We didnt have enough money to pay for the burial yet and they explained that they would do nothing nor reserve a date until we were paid in full.So imagine my frustration when my sister neglected to tell me where my mother was being buried, and when I explained the situation to Robert he stated that he could not tell me where my mother was buried because of the power of attorney law and I would have to go through my sister who neglected to inform me of anything?!I was alone in this. Your staff couldve contacted me if my sister refused to do so, or insisted she inform me when I called you and made you aware of the hostile situation between my sister and me? You couldve done something to make it right. It was clear your staff only catered to my sister because she held the purse and the decisions. Thanks Westminster memorial for adding even more grief to my already broken heart during horrible tragic time. Ill always remember the highlights of your staff refusing to tell me where my mother was buried. I had to go with my girlfriend and drive around your cemetery to find her gravesite. Thanks for adding to the grief of my horribly tragic memory of the way my sister handled things. That fact what will always cross my mind when I think of Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary.PS. Per your suggestion I wrote the email address that you gave me with my phone number and General manager said he would look into it and get back to me but he never did as of today’s date.

No employees from the Park directs traffic nor making it a 1 direction only so my car almost hit head on with another car. When I saw a lady standing talking to her guy with a tractor, I told her that this is unacceptable and this is an accident waiting to happen. She did not care and also said I can go now like I am working for her. She dismissed me and was rude to me but she forgot that we the customers pay for her salary. She is a racist because I am Vietnamese, and her name is Virginia. This old lady should act her age, the owner of this Park should fired her. This is 2018, RACISM is unacceptable, this Park is very popular with the Vietnamese Community, our people will take the business somewhere else.
