Most people probably don’t follow instructions. I had an order for pre-employment screening through Castle Branch, I went online to LabCorps website and made an appointment. I was able to check in through the kiosk without problems and provided my reservation number which I brought with me. Within 2 min, the friendly staff member took me to the collection room, gave clear and simple instructions and then gave me a receipt for the collection. Overall this was super easy and efficient. Reading other reviews, I can only assume people aren’t following instructions. The office was very clean and tidy, the staff was kind and polite, parking is easy, I have absolutely no complaints.
Drove over an hour to get a drug screening for employment to be done. Checked in online at 4:30 and waited in the car, as the sign on the door says to do. After waiting for 15 minutes without a call or text I go inside to find out they stopped doing testing at 4:30 and they will not do it. Absolutely infuriated.
There is a reason for the low reviews at most LabCorp locations. Its a bad customer experience and they dont care since they basically have a monopoly. This place is crowded, slow, and poor customer service. You only have a decent experience of you show up at some time that doesnt work for most people. Also they never answer the phone or call you back.
They honor walk-ins over appointments. I had an appointment but had to wait over an hour because two people walked in without appointments before me. This is ridiculous. I will never go to this lab again.
Extremely rude. Im a respectful and easy customer to work with. I have never been treated this poorly anywhere.I arrived when I was scheduled at 4:30pm. There was a gentleman in front of me who was checking in at the kiosk, so I politely waited behind him (socially distanced.) He took a few minutes to figure it out. Once he was finished, I checked in on the kiosk which also took a few minutes. When I sat down, I was told that they dont do labs past 4:30. I explained that my appointment was at 4:30, and that I had been waiting for 5 minutes to check in at the kiosk. She very rudely told me that I had not been waiting, and that I had just got there.I think maybe they didnt see me because I was waiting 6ft. away from the guy, out of sight of the main desk. But she wasnt having any of it and was extremely rude for no reason. Worst lab experience ever.
Was able to do a walk-in and was in and out within less than 10 minutes. I went on a Friday at 9 am. Kind staff as well.
Stuck me twice and told me to go home without drawing my blood... idiotic staff
Lamest office staff with zero service skills. Rude and incompetent
Set aside at least 45 minutes to wait. The text check-in system either doesn’t work or they don’t send texts
The worst!! My service date was 2/18/20..( 400.00 blood work!!!) covid hit one month later!! Even though I tried to make payments even 20 bucks a month, was hard because I got laid off..Thanks for sending this to collections and ruining my credit for the next 7yrs!! (9mths later during a global pandemic)Please beware its not fair. especially when I called religiously and let LabCorp know my loss of health insurance and job loss (well just pay what you can)..
Arrived before opening time. Employee arrives at 8am. Should arrive before opening time. First patient went into first room on the right, we went to second room on right. First patient leaves, third patient is instructed to go into first room on the right. Employee comes into our room. Not once did I see or hear her clean the first room after first patient left nor did I see her wash her hands or use sanitizer. The staff here need work on how to prevent the spreading of germs. Maybe its an office issue. She was also rude.
The lady in the front desk is too busy on her phone texting than making sure the people waiting in line in their cars get their notifications to come in. I waited 30mins to get my blood drawn. Then she had the audacity to say that she “clicked” the button twice to send me a text to come in. The only text I got from Lapcorp was my receipt of my payment. So go in if you are waiting more than 15mins!
Husband had blood work drawn on nov 7th to day is dec 3 his ordering doc nor he has recieved results. Have repeatedly called and it always says closed during thier hours of operation hours and no return calls. We need these results to change his medication its vital and we are beyond frustrated.
So its 8:20 am. Office still not open. There are 9 people waiting. Ridiculous. This is not the first time this has happened. Please hire responsible people.
EXCELLENT!!I had a very good experience this morning in this Lab.Easy and efficient check in.Quiet place with nice and friendly people.
No complaints. Got in at 1130 and was seen right away. Had 7 viles taken quickly and painlessly. Everyone was pleasant even showing up 30 min before there lunch break.
Closed during their business hours
Reading the prior reviews I was very nervous to set my appointment here, however my experience was great. I scanned my code into the easy check in and was waited on within two minutes, the staff was friendly and quick and I was in and out in 10 minutes. I expected it to take hours based on the reviews, so I was very happy. Definitely recommend this lab corp.
First time ever having a screening. Arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and was seen immediately. The technician working the front desk was very nice and professional and the whole experience took about 5 minutes.
I dont understand the bad reviews. I had to go here for an employment drug test and the lobby as pretty full when I showed up. The check-in kiosk was very straightforward and quick and the front desk woman was extremely nice and helpful. I thought i was going to have to wait forever but even with the full waiting room I got in in about 15-20 minutes. The woman administering my test was very nice too and apologized for the wait saying she had to take a while to draw blood from a kid (you could hear to kid crying from the waiting room earlier so I can only imagine the type of task that is). She was professional and concise while explaining the test to me and within 5 minutes I was done and out of there. Overall, not a bad experience.
Getting ahold of them via phone is like pulling teeth. Pretty poor customer service when I can’t get them to simply pick up the phone.
I was told to come here because my new born baby needed her blood drawn for a test. First time, I made an appointment and showed up, then the lady was telling me the person to draw blood from babies was not working that day and I would have to come back the next day. When I did, the man was cutting my babys feet to try to squeeze blood out. I was worried and asked how much blood he needs to take or if he was done. He showed me two empty large test tubes and said he needed to fill them up in order to do the test. I said that is crazy. He just said, yeah, I dont think I can get that much blood. They are so unprofessional! The experience we had was horrible. If they cant do test for babies, please let us know ahead of time and dont try to kill my 3-week-old baby by cutting both of her feet to fill up two adult size test tubes!!!Very unprofessional place! :(
Jennifer at the Westminister location on Pecos, was extremely rude and unprofessional!!! When I walked in she was on her cell phone with her head down and proceeded to get up and walk around the corner without even acknowledging me. So I shook my keys and said really and she came back and told me I was already on the phone before you walked in and theres someone over there who can help you she then turned around and proceeded to walk away. Theres no excuse for rudeness towards a patient!
The sign says they open at 1pm. Its 1:20pm.
Not sure about the previous negative reviews but my experience was great. I arrived at about 10:10 a.m., was checked in at the front desk in under a minute and I only waited for the technician for a few minutes back in one of the lab rooms. The office was clean and the process was smooth. The lab tech was very friendly, professional and quick, and she did a great job with my blood draw.
Been their twice and had the same experience both times. Phlebotomist was nice and good at her job. Extremely cranky front desk staff, absolutely terrible customer service. They have you check in at an express kiosk but after that the person at the front desk enters all the same information into the computer, so its a redundant lengthy process. Two people working and 7 people waiting in the lobby. Waited 1 hour 15 minutes to get a 3 minute wellness blood draw...
This website is the most hosed-up, difficult, non-intuitive, convoluted site on the planet. Try and get an appointment. You get directions to Trader Joes, Grease Monkey, and heaven knows where else. I need and appointment for lab work, not an oil change, not Snapps, and not the other B.S. and directions. I know where it is. How do I make an appointment? No phone number? Whats that all about? This is total and complete, B.,S.,
It was my first time at this location and I had a great experience. The woman at the front desk was very nice, she got me back right away and then the girl who drew my blood was fast and professional. I was in and out in 10mins. I’ll be going here from now on for blood draws.
I had a 3:30 appointment scheduled. The email confirmation they sent me had the wrong address. I called and you are not allowed to speak to a human at the facility. Their voicemail gave me a second wrong address. I called again and since you are not allowed to speak to anyone at the facility I ended up talking to someone at a midwest service center. They finally got me a correct address. When I arrived I mentioned the address issues to the receptionist that sits there playing on her phone and telling people to use the kiosk to check in and she said thats basically not her problem because she doesnt set those things up. Im certain there is a manager for the facility that could get these mistakes corrected but with her attitude Im sure it wont happen. Worst experience with Labcorp ever and I have been to multiple. Schedule your appointment with a different location if you can.
Staff was friendly, no issues there. However they never faxed the results over to my doctor. We got the number for the main lab, after 2 transfers to the correct department and 10 minutes wait, they just hung upon me.Reminds me of the days in my old communist country, where lack of competition results in very bad service.
Wish I could choose 0.5 a star (only because the front office lady is nice). Seriously, DO NOT GO HERE! I went twice in September. The first time they lost my labs and said there was no record of me ever being there. I called and left a voicemail and never got a response. I showed up 2 days later and they admitted they listened to the voicemail, but didnt do anything. After showing up, they figured out they sent my results to some random physician at the same hospital instead of the one who wrote the script and who also wrote FAX RESULTS TO: with the fax number they should have used. My prescription could not have been clearer as to where to send the results. My latest issue is that for the two visits, they are apparently sending bills to insurance companies and using a Tax ID from North Carolina. To the insurance companies, it looks like patients are getting labs drawn in North Carolina instead of Colorado. So they assume its an out-of-network lab visit and they are kicking the bill. My insurance company called to help LabCorp fix the issue and it just went to voicemail which I can only assume will never be checked. So I will probably have to show up in person again and who knows if it will ever get fixed considering how their service has gone so far. Save yourself the trouble and try your luck at another lab.
Office is scheduled to open at 8:00am. It is 8:22am and 10 cars are outside all of us waiting for employees to get here.
This was the only location I had time to get to this afternoon, so I read these reviews ahead of time to see what I was in for. Based on some of these comments, I had serious concerns about whether Id exit the lab with all of my limbs still attached, or even with my brain still housed within my skull. But I sucked it up and went in like a man.But instead of walking into what sounded like Nightmare on Elm Street, I walked it to an easy-to-use Check--in Kiosk (actually the easiest one Ive ever used at medical places). That was followed by interaction with a perfectly pleasant front desk lady. I waited 3 minutes to be called back, and had my blood drawn by a lady that was a remarkable delight. All in all, a very good experience. The only thing I would point out would be the customers, who seem to think the front desk lady should leap over the counter and kiss their feet when they come in, and wheel them around the lab on a mobile Throne. A lot of these customers really need to get over themselves.
Well as for the negitive reviews....they are not true. Ive been going there for a while now and everytime I have always been greeted warmly and usually get in and out within 10 minutes max. I must say the staff is great considering all of the jerks Ive seen come in and are just unreasonable. The customer is not always right.....more nowadays then ever. They think they are entitled....such is the generation we live with today.
I have a horrible phobia of needles and the lady that draws my blood is always quick to get it over with. Although Im usually panicking during the entire visit they are always friendly towards me.
I went to take a drug test and that experience was just fine. The problem was that when I had questions and called, I left multiple voicemails and was never able to get anyone to call me back. Instead I had to take extra time out of my day to physically go to the location and ask my question. With four people in the facility that I saw and no one in the waiting room, seems like someone would have time to check the voicemail, especially over the past three weeks.
Awful place. Apparently the main phlebotomist can just show up whenever she wants after 8am. Today, I waited for over an hour in the waiting room packed full of similar people waiting for their 8am blood draws. The main phlebotomist strolled in at 8:34am and thats when the line started moving. Before that the girl at the register was doing everything - getting people registered and then taking them back for blood draws, at a snails pace. I got here at 8:00am left at 9:05am, which is absolutely unacceptable for all the people in the waiting area for their fasting labs. There were so many people in the waiting room a couple guys had to stand outside because they ran out of seats! I couldve went to a hospital and waited at most 20 minutes for a simple blood draw like this. To the people that have good experiences here: youre lucky you came in at not a busy time; but most people have fasting AM draws so we all have to get here around when they open, which is 8.
Wish I could give no stars went for pre employment drug test and couldnt give enough sample between 2 trys so lady dug sample out of trash and mixed it with mine not knowing if that was my sample or not which brought positive results for drugs. Which couldnt be since Im drug free. Still trying to get ahold of people to file a complaint no one ever gets back to you or answers the phone what a joke. Tried bunch of numbers and the labcorp customer service number.
I had labs drawn here, took my order with me and 6 days later I am still trying to get results. Repeated voicemails have been left with no return. The staff is always late to open the office, they are typically 5-10 minutes late and then un-prepared for the line of people waiting. Is there a manager for this location?!
This place is horrible. I signed my son in at the desk with the receptionist and then she preceded to hang out in the back for 25 minutes chatting while people continued to come in and sign in. The lights shut off at the desk because she never came back. When we started to talk about it in the waiting area she finally returned to get us back to get blood drawn. If you have taken time off from work or school plan on being late.
They have a new express check in kiosk which is express for the employees, not the patients. I arrived at 8:05 to drop off a specimen sample which they wouldnt take without me checking in. There were 4 people in front of me but I had to wait my turn and 2 of the 4 had problems and ended up having to go up to the counter anyway. Once you check in, they call you up to the desk to sign paperwork. I ended up having to wait 15 minutes just to drop of something which didnt need checked in. Very frustrating process.
In and Out burgers aint got nothin on the speed of this place. Less than 5 minutes total and part of that was me fussing with my winter layers off and back on. No burgers though.
Quick and done, most of the time,!
Bad place rude to their customers and the workers work as slow as possible. Expect to wait 45min+ sitting in the waiting area for your time! Disgusting!
Place was inconveniently located inside of another building and if you need to get ahold of an actual person over phone forget it, it is impossible.
