From beginning to end the service was exceptional. The setup of the party was literally remarkable and the kids and adults had a blast. The theme was perfect and it left everyone in awe. The service was impeccable. I would recommend any birthday party here. It had a homey vintage vibe and it was also modern too. I’m not sure there are enough words to describe how well the party went.Thank you for everything! We will be in touch again for birthdays to come.

Sam & the Indigo Art Studio Team did an amazing job for my son Colin’s Harry Potter Themed 8th Birthday party! They were so pleasant and professional to work with from beginning to end that it made the party planning very easy & smooth. Sam was very informative and answered all of the questions I had & was able to bring my ideas to life. We added on the photo slide show, graphics and lighting projections for our Party & it made everything look so magical and personalized. All of our guest kept on complimenting during & after the party of beautiful everything was. They had so many different themes and activities to choose from so my son picked the canvas painting project of the Hedwig Owl from Harry Potter. The kids had so much fun painting, getting tattoos, singing, dancing & enjoyed all the pizza, juice & candy. They really know how to keep kids engaged, active and entertained. I would highly recommend booking a party at Indigo Art Studio. They exceeded our expectations in many more ways than one. There were pleasant surprises such as custom color themed candy table, Harry potter décor, a closing dance party and printed group photos of the kids with custom personalized graphics. We came from out of town to visit family and wanted to have something fun for the kids. We bought kits to paint and they came with the canvas, paint, smock, a temporary tattoo and palette. The kids enjoyed it and stayed busy for a while. It was a fun activity to keep them busy and safe indoors!

We just did my daughters 5th birthday here with a mermaid painting theme and I can’t say enough how amazing it was! Sam and his crew were so great with the children and kept them entertained every second of the afternoon. They packed so much into the 90 minutes but it never felt rushed and the kids had an amazing time. They even accommodated some of the younger children with different activities since they didn’t want to paint a mermaid canvas. We brought in drinks and food for the adults and he was so helpful in providing ice and buckets and helping to set up the food. The decor was awesome, the music was amazing, and the staff were perfect! Sam also helped us book an actual mermaid to come in and dance with the children which was the best touch. I highly recommend this venue for any children’s party!!!

I would give Zero stars if I could... took my children to a 5th birthday party here and both my kids came home covered in paint. I assumed since this a kids party business, the paints used would be wash friendly. Nope! All clothes were ruined including somehow paint all over a brand new winter coat. I called the studio to inquire what type of paint was used and what they recommend to remove. When the owner stated they use acrylic paint, I was horrified as that is the worst paint to remove and doesnt come out. (I even tried alcohol and that didnt work on most colors so these paints were not 100% acrylic ) When I told him I was surprised they would use that for a little kids party he said the kids should come “prepared” Not sure what that means in the middle of winter! He also intimated kids that are 4 and 5 should not get paint on themselves! In this day in age there are tons of paint alternatives that won’t ruin clothes. When I politely suggested they might want to consider using a more wash friendly paint he said “We are not going to change and will continue to use acrylic paints.” The main reason I chose to write this review is because, the owner made no attempt to apologize for the unfortunate experience which is the worst thing of all in my opinion. Incredibly poor business practice. 💯 not recommend this place

We celebrated our daughters 5th birthday at Indigo Art Studio and it was absolutely wonderful! The studio itself is beautifully decorated and very spacious. Sam and his staff were amazing every step of the way. They took care of everything so that we as parents could enjoy the party. They put together really cool graphics for the party that matched the theme and the kids enjoyed a fun dance party at the end. This is a true gem in downtown Westfield!

I just made my daughters 4th birthday party at Indigo Art Studio. Our experience was wonderful! The space is gorgeous and very spacious, high ceilings, natural light- we had 30 kids and about 35 adults without any space constraints. Sam and his crew were wonderful; my husband and I didnt do a thing but enjoy ourselves. The kids painted wooden crafts, decorated 2 cupcakes (1 to eat and 1 to take home), had tattoos placed on their hands and also enjoyed pizza. Sam and his crew decorated with the theme of trolls, chosen by my daughter, which came out beautiful! I would absolutely use this space and crew again and absolutely recommend! She was the happiest 4 year old and told me today was really special.

We hosted a 5 year olds birthday party here with a canvas painting theme and would definitely recommend. Sam was so easy to work with and incredibly flexible with our requests. The size of the space is generous and the decorations were great. Both kids and parents enjoyed themselves!

Wonderful! Brought my summer camp here for a field trip and it was SO fun! Everything was organized and planned out. My campers want to go back next year!

I have been this place for my friends 40th birthday, and we all enjoyed a lot. Its an amazing place with high ceilings. I definetly recommend.

Indigo is a great space! I went to a sweet 16 here that was so much fun! Service was great and the people were so nice. The room is also beautiful, a large space with a creative and vintage atmosphere. Definitely recommend throwing an event here!

We had my daughter’s 6th birthday there and everything was customized to our request and the service was 100% turn key, and impeccably executed. The space is also gorgeous and could be easily adapted for any type of party.

We hosted a Rockin’ Karaoke/ Dance Party for 16 tweens at Indigo last week. The guys at Indigo were a pleasure to work with, really organized and great party planners. IE: There was a Street Fair the day of our party; the night before Indigo reached out to let me know that parking might be difficult. It was a great heads up- I notified my guests in advance.Party space is a large room, high ceilings and large windows with classic architectural detail. For our event, the tables were covered with candy colored paper goods, paper plates and napkins and there was an appropriately sized candy table. Music playing from our selected song list.Indigo had already taken care of ordering pizzas before I even mentioned it to them, (so organized), they took care of delivery, plating, serving, etc.Karaoke was a blast for the kids on a stage with real microphones and a flat screen TV for the lyrics. They set up a red carpet and velvet ropes. Indigo bleeped inappropriate words. Dance Party occurs on the dance floor. Everyone follows the moves on the TV screen. There is lots of room to dance!Definitely check out Indigo Art Studio for a creative, fun party!!

We had our daughters Sweet 16 party in their 3rd floor space and it was fabulous! Such a unique venue. Sam did a great job DJing and the photo wall was a fun touch! Also the servers were friendly and efficient!

I booked a 1 1/2 hour child’s party which was supposed to be paw patrol theme and painting wooden crafts. What a disappointment with the decorations. There were 4 paw patrol pictures hung in a couple of spots and a few stickers on a small area of a wall. It left much to be desired. We were also told that we could bring food for the adults who attended. On the day of the party, we unloaded one large sandwich tray, a dessert tray, cooler with drinks and ice. In addition, I bought gift bags for the kids, cookies and my cake. Sam the owner gave my husband an attitude and said you bought too much stuff and asked if he knew that this was only an hour and a half party that we had booked and not the three hour party. He seemed annoyed at us for having so much, which was minimal amounts of stuff for 20 adults. He was not helpful and/or interested in helping us with our setup. He basically set the timer on his watch and kept looking at it...The party was all about painting wooden items. We had wanted the kids to choose their craft, instead the choices were put out at each seat. The items were nothing special- dollar store/Michaels store bought.The kids painted and then ate their pizza. Again, nothing special.After the cake, they did a few minutes of limbo with the kids and that was it. The candy/gift bags they provided were cheap candies and again sub quality. Thank goodness I had my own gift bags.Overall, the kids enjoyed their time painting and eating cake. The room itself was spacious enough for everyone to mingle and move around. However the owners attitude is nothing to be desired.This is a one and done. I will never return or rebook a party. I won’t recommend him or this place. There are many other venues that can host great kids parties.

I rented this space as a natural light photography studio. The staff was great and opened up on time and was ready to go. They even let me take art off the walls and move whatever I need.

Really nice space. Good service and nice people.
