Just moved in a month ago and am loving it here. The move in process was easy and the staff has been outstanding. The property is well kept and the anytime there is an issue in the apartment, the maintenance team resolves the issue on the same day. Would definitely recommend it here if anyone is considering moving to the area!

My husband, grandson and myself live at Ellington MetroWest. I wanted to comment on our maintenance men. I cannot say enough about our maintenance men; Na, Na, Nelson & Christian.here at Ellington Metrowest. They are so punctual, they get your work done in a expedited manner. They are all so nice and always have a smile on their faces. We have been here for quite a while and by far the best maintenance men so far!!

My husband and I moved to Ellington Metro West at the end of September. We wanted to find a property that is pet friendly, and Dalmatians would not be on the restricted breed list. Diane, the property manager, was very pleasant and friendly on the phone, informed me that there were two dog parks on the property and scheduled a tour for us. She showed us the amenities and two apartments, and we decided to apply. Very happy we did! I like how private and quiet this property is. The maintenance team addresses work orders in a timely manner, and the landscaping is so beautiful.

After three years living here, this will be my last. The place is very beutiful and the staff are great, but the number of thefts is very high. This year, they have already stolen 4 of my orders. There are others 16 cases of theft that have been reported. Some cases were not informed, so this number can be higher. Cameras were requested to be installed, but I was informed that they would not install them.If you are looking for a safe place, this is definitely not the place.

It looks beautiful, but the management is horrendous. They are completely unresponsive - and when they finally do, theyre rude, unhelpful, and impatient. DO NOT be swayed by the reviews over a year ago - the management company changed! Unless you like floods, mice, and unresponsive office staff. I had a flood from my upstairs neighbors come through my ceiling into my hallway, bathroom, and bedroom. for 6 weeks I had air movers, was walking on cement and wet carpet, and completely open ceilings/walls to the studs. AND they had the audacity to charge me $1100 in damages when I moved out for the CARPET? The same carpet that was flooded twice (once with the previous management, but they didnt want to hear it because its was during the transition in ownership...) There is ZERO professionalism. STEER CLEAR

Moved in April 1. The location is perfect to be away from it all but still have great access to major routes (less than 5 minutes to Rt 495, Mass Pike and Rt 9). The move in process was perfect. From our first call, to viewing the apartment and amenities, to explaining our options, all the way to the move in date, the office was extremely helpful and very professional. We worked mostly with the leasing agent Lynn who sent us all the info in a timely manner and explained it all in detail making sure that we were not only satisfied but also that we were happy. When Lynn was not present her assistant manager Melissa stepped up, had everything ready for us and transitioned us into residents without a glitch. I work mostly from home and every morning look out the window to see those little golf carts buzzing around the property with the Maintance staff attending to residents requests. I am pleasantly surprised to see the head Maintance Supervisor every single day out on the property just driving around picking up what ever trash he can find. I work with a lot of these properties in my job and to see the Maintance Supervisor him self out there picking up trash, shows the commitment this team has. Diane the Community Manager who oversees the operations of the property is very hands on and assisted in any questions or concerns that her staff could not answer and went the extra step of touring the amenities with us so we did not have to wait 5 minutes for her assistant who needed to take a call. She ran her office and property flawlessly and every time we seen her she had a genuine welcoming smile. We visited many and I work with many, this property by far has it all together coupled with a relaxing wooded atmosphere, impeccable grounds, easaly accessible to all major routes, shopping, dining and the commuter rail 2 miles away for when my daughter visits from school in the city. Thank you all for welcoming us as you did and we look forward to our residency at Ellington Metro West.

I have just renewed my lease and really enjoy living here! The pool, gym, and basketball court are amazing amenities. The maintenance crew is outstanding. Repairs are made quickly and courteously. Also, they went above and beyond when recently helping me with a flat tire and issues I was having with a rusty jack. They really saved me that day! Really great place to live.

Horrible location with even worse customer service. Denied me application for issues that were not even valid and wanted me to co testify them which could take weeks when explained I could show proof. Then when requesting my holding fee was informed that it will be mailed to me in 30 days after then taking the money directly from my account which of course only took 30 secs.

Well, last couple of month management is focusing on making area look better. Fixing side walks was great, paining houses - sure, cool, no problems with that, but the latest great idea they came up with - to pain asphalt with black paint...really? They sprayed entire parking lots and roads with extremely stinky and toxic black paint. You cannot open windows now, kids cannot play outside because of that, for several days already. All this is for new customers, to make it look better, key word here is to look. I would understand if they would fill in cracks, but they just literally pained asphalt without fixing it, without cleaning it in advance (tons of oily spots became very visible and sealing will gone soon), you better wash it with shampoo than paint it... all residents would say Thank you for that! because it smells better and safe for kids to play. Im waiting when they start painting grass with green paint during the fall season, and at winter time I assume they are going to paint snow because it should look better. Because new customers have to see a great picture!Very disappointed with new management who is wasting our money for such a brilliant ideas without even asking local residents do you want to hear this noise and feel this smell for entire summer?. Thats quite a splurge.I will be more than happy to give better rate if I see management start focusing on improving quality of live for resident like: changing water filter in office house on time (there is red light for several weeks already warning about that filter have to be changed), changing air filters in vent system on time, cleaning vent pipes, cleaning and changing carpets more promptly (waiting for response about scheduling carpet cleaning for several weeks), fix well known issue and finally prevent dryer pipes been blocked with birds nests. Please focus on improving life of residents who already live there.

If I could Id give it 0 stars the only reason I gave it 1 is I have to 0 isnt an option the residents complain about everything that most of them are doing themselves probably to get attention off of them management isnt any better once they find out you have done something once you will be blamed for it every single time there is a complaint my mother who cares for my disabled nieces smoked in the house someone complained she stopped yet continued to get complaints against her so she is being blamed for what someone else is doing she even told them to come to the apartment to see if they could detect the odor of smoke which they refused to do yet kept getting complaints against her and is now being evicted even though with this pandemic she shouldnt have to worry about being evicted they already decided not to renew the lease fine that gives her 3 months to find a place yet she received a letter telling her to vacate the premises in a week it seems like since she is a smoker they are being discriminatory targeting towards her that borders on harassment I wouldnt live here if it was rent free forever

It’s a “0” star review! Ever since the Halstead was bought out and the new management Ellington Metro West took over it’s the worst place to live in. No communication from the management. Snoozing your calls. Rent is increased by at least 10%. No improvements of the property. They can’t figure out how and where the residents should pay for the water/sewer, rent, so instead of communicating they send out Eviction notices dated days earlier than actually given to you.Gym has equipment not working. They took months to fix the TV’s in the club house. No enforcement about the dog’s business. Better be careful walking around the property and not to step into it. Bottom line this complex used to be nice, but not anymore.

From the moment I entered the leasing office I felt welcomed. The staff has always been warm, friendly and professional. Any questions I had (no matter how silly) were always answered. When it came to sign the lease, I admit, I was nervous- but that’s just how I am when it comes to signing a legally binding document of any sort. The staff reapected my desire to take the lease home and read every word. They were willing and able to answer every section I had flagged with a post it note. Honestly, it almost seemed too easy. When moving day came, naturally, I was a giant ball of nerves. My leasing agent, Robert, was awesome. He took me to my apartment and gave me my keys, answered all of my last minute questions)and I’m certain most of them I had already asked him during a previous conversation; again he was very professional and understanding. He checked in a few hours later to see how things were going (which was nice). After I was moved in and somewhat settled, he was still there to help me through any concerns I had. Everything was handled timely, professionally and with a smile from everyone - the leasing agent, leasing management team and the wonderful maintenance staff. The apartments are very nice. (I selected a recently renovated unit). Gas stove, central a/c, balcony, full size washer and dryer in the unit, quiet area in a great location. Snow removal efforts are continuous during inclement weather. The grounds are maintained regularly by landscapers (weekly I think). Nice neighbors.... what more could you want?I conducted a thorough internet search; toured and evaluated about a dozen complexs in the area (and I have an elaborate spreadsheet as proof of my diligence.)All of the complexes were very nice, but the difference between Ellington and the others? At Ellington, you have quality professionals that care about the residents in their community. You aren’t just a monthly payment to them. (Based on the reviews of every other property in the area.....that seemed to be a common theme I found in the reviews amongst their competitors.)I hope you have found this review helpful.

I really dont understand the complaints here. They seem to be about bad experiences being shown apartments. I didnt have that experience but I bet one new employee could really ruin an experience like that. It just doesnt seem like a way to judge a place.Anyway.. I just renewed my lease after a year. The maintenance here is great. We know the guys by name. They wave and chat with you and the moment you have a problem theyre there and it gets fixed. The office staff has always been so professional with me and even gave my son (5) a little toy the last time we were in the office. Theyre always happy to jump up and get any packages I wasnt home to receive. The pool is clean, heated, and always has a vigilant lifeguard which I really do like. Theyre young but theyre top notch and they keep the pool tame so familys can really enjoy it.In short, this place is worth every penny. The apartments are friggin sound proof from what I can tell and the community is affluent, kind, and diverse with almost all of us being engineers it seems!

I have been living here for 2 years when it was Halstead. Since it has been been bought out by Ellington metrowest, it has gone downhill especially when it comes to maintenance. When I open a repair request, i have to remind them a few times to get it done. Previously any repair requests were done within 24 hours without reminders. A few months ago, I come back from work and find out no water in the apartment because my water heater is being replaced. Great! but shouldnt I have been informed before that I will not have water for 4 to 5 hours? I really liked living here before, not so sure about that anymore.

The building and grounds are well kept. My only suggestion would be that they have maintenance vacuum the common stairs and hallways. Families with kids sometimes track in dirt and mud so the common area carpets occasionally get soiled. I know what your thinking and the place is not overrun with wild kiddies running up and down the hallways.I really enjoy my apartment and love my view of the woods. I get awesome afternoon sunshine which warms my apartment in winter. That has saved me $$$ in heat!! Parking is easy and residents seem to abide with parking rules. The noise from the Turnpike and the shotgun blasts of the gun range can be annoying, especially during the summer months but the site location and quality makes up for those annoyances. The Apartment site is out of the way which has its advantages. Minimal traffic and great Fall leaf peeping in the back roads. The close access to Hopkinton state park is minutes away with hiking trails, boating and swimming. Driving to the park is easy with no traffic in the height of the weekends. Even commuting traffic is not existent until you get to route 9 and the train station is a 3 minute drive away. Cant beat that. The management office are always available to answer your questions or address any concerns. Package delivery notification and holding is a real plus.I guess my only real negative is that you pay a higher water/sewer rate for a apartment than a house. Other than that would I re-sign a lease with Ellington Metro West? Yes. Will I recommend that you check them out if you need to rent in the Westborough area? Yes.

This is deffently one of the best places I have ever lived in, with that being said. Thats all that it is. I reaceanly had a problem with the company I work. I tried calling the office, leaving messages for managment. Even sending emails just to talk to someone to let them know whats going on. If you live at Ellington, you know exactly how expensive it is to live here, so taking a day off from work or even leaving early from work or going in late is the only way you can talk is by actually going down to the club house. So I went down there and spoke with management and explained what was going on. When I did mangmant told me that I was completely fine, and that they wish ever tenant was like me . Not even 4 days after talking to them I get an eviction letter.. when I talked to them they knew that my company had just changed payroll and the new company had messed up a lot of peoples hours me included. They know that the new system is that is by weekly and I will just have to wait to my next check to pay my rent. The eviction notice gave me 14 days. Witch is the Exact amount of time I had ask for but the time on the note ends the day before my next pay day. I again trying to call send emails ect. No one has yet to get back to me and I have been trying to reach them since last week. I cant afforded to leave work early again just so I can get an answer from someone.

I lived there for a year in building 6200Positive things:- the community is clean and common areas are well maintained for the most part- this is the only community around that has heated pool- the gym is decently equipped relative to other communities- the lease agreement that I signed in (2015) wasnt as draconian as in others, notably Avalon Northborough and Windsor Ridge.- the management seems to be relaxed about minor damage they find after apartment is vacated- sound insulation between rooms in the same apartment seems to be good at the same time I could hear a baby crying in an apartment on the floor below in the middle of the night.- they regularly host social events, but majority of the community ignores themSlightly less positive things:- the management will not address things that costs a little more money to fix. For example, our ceiling fan was making rattling noise and despite several requests they never fixed it- Cheap construction.- thermal insulation is very poor. Be prepared to spend some dollars in the winter for window insulation kits and even more dollars for the utility bills that skyrocket in the winter. During harsh months of 2015 winter our heating was off for only 10 min every hour.- Equally, its very hot in the summer especially if your unit is getting the sun during the day. My emails asking management to take action to improve the insulation were met with radio silence. Evidently they know about the problem, cannot or dont want to do anything about it and wouldnt admit it either. Again be ready for the bills.- extremely cheap and old appliances. The washing machine was so inefficient and damaging clothes that we had to replace half of our wardrobe after we moved out. The dishwasher is very noisy. Apparently the management knows about it and specifically directs tenants to not use it during late hours as to not disturb others.- the lifeguard at the pool that they brought from some east European country has bad attitude especially toward children. He can raise his voice and be plain rude at times. When his break ends he doesnt announce it so nobody knows if pool can be used again unless you ask him.- up until 2016 they used to have a free Keurig machine that anyone could use to make himself a cup of coffee. Later they moved it into their office to discourage people from using it and after the rebranding (Halstead) they replaced it with a vending machine. I guess they figured that its more profitable to have a few people that pay for the coffee than many that dont. How much did it cost them to have that Keurig? I think not a lot because I never saw people using it. Just shows how greedy they are.

Horrible location and even worse management. We resided at Halsted for two years solely because it was close to our work-NOTHING ELSE. There isnt a single restaurant or shop within walking distance, everything is at least a 10 minute drive away. Upon moving out we received a bill for $900 stating that they needed to replace our carpet. We asked for proof of invoice from the carpet replacement company, not just the estimate that they originally provided us with. A week later the management came back to us stating that they may just be able to clean the carpet rather than replace. The girls that work in the office are incredibly rude and unprofessional, Emily being the worst of them all. Our AC was broken for an entire week, we had to call every day to see what was going on. The buildings have mice and they just stuck glue traps under the stove as if that was going to rid the problem. We had to call FOUR times to actually get pest control out to move the stove and patch up where the mice were getting in. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
