I was put into contact with Richard through a general contractor when finishing my basement. I had to part ways with that GC so I just worked directly with Richard. He was very easy to work with and very responsive any time I needed to get ahold of him. He Installed the pad and carpet for my entire basement in just a few days. We really enjoyed working with Richard. Our basement got flooded due to a big rain storm and Richard found the time to come and take a look at the carpet damage on the very next day. We needed to get the carpet replaced in our home and had checked around at a few places. The idea of supporting local business, and not a big box store appealed to us. After some research, we found “A Plus Carpet Repairs, Sales and Installation.” I submitted a request online through the website and Richard responded very quickly. We were able to set up a date and time for him to come out and take measurements, bring some samples, and give us a quote. Richard arrived on time, and was very professional. He came in, took the measurements, wrote out some numbers and we had a quote. He never pressured us, he gave us the quote and left some samples for us to decide on. After we narrowed down a sample, we set up a time for Richard to come back and write up the agreement. Again, he was right on time. We scheduled the installation day and waited patiently for it to arrive. True to form, Richard arrived on time, and began installing the padding immediately. It was an all day job that was done with great care. You can tell that Richard takes pride in what he does and ensures that the job is done to his high standard. He had is daughter, who is also experienced in carpet installation, helping with the project. At the end of the day, we did a final walk through and everything look AMAZING! I would definitely recommend Richard and A Plus Carpet Repairs, Sales and Installation. The quality of his work is something that you wouldn’t get with a big box store. Support local!
